Another great place for aluminum scrap is collecting ski poles at Pleasant Valley Ski Resort and outside Top Of The World. Each pole yields 2 aluminum scrap and there's alot of poles in those areas. I usually collect those along with those hanging can traps for other scrap.

3:02 LOL I know Angry Turtle is joking about the Friendly Fire perk but for those that don’t know or getting confused of what Turtle is saying is that Bethesda completely messed up that perk in the previous updates where flame weapons healing on NPC doesn’t work anymore however molotovs healing on NPC DOES work, so pretty much it does the complete opposite. So the Friendly Fire perk should say: “Teammates(or NPC) hit by your MOLOTOVS regen even more health. (NO FLAME WEAPONS)”

The orbital scan becon is actually useful for daily ops if they have stealth fields just through a couple here and there and you’ll see all enemies within range

Hey turtle nice to see you are trying the nuka grenades. I have advocated for this in quite a few of your videos by now. Also before the grenadier perk. and seeing you realising how good they are. I would like to add that Becket can sell up to 18 nuka colas and his stock is refreshed with every serverhop. Him and a nukatron keeps me supplied. Though admittedly I occasionally go ham at events with the grenades and I must visit the whitespring at times. The prison is a good place for grenades also. Supermutants is in the courtyard and there are some fragmentation bouquets and you will need home defense to disarm them ( they are in the trailers). I'm also very very fond of the nukemines though very expensive they are easy to drop at your feet when swarmed for insane XP and clearspeed. Also it's fun to place em on angry players as they usually blow themselves up on them

Another great location for Nuka Cola are both amusement parks. And don't forget the Nuka Cola collectron. Hands down the best grenade IMO.

Woah! Awesome, didn’t know certain equipped weapon effects affected grenades! Thank you! Despite playing stealth build, I do use them tactically on mobs when warranted. But been using my frag grenade all wrong. I think you showed me what is my new favorite grenade.. just need to find a nuka plan for it. Awesome vid!

U can also go to Beckett at your camp for nuka cola sometimes he has multiple colas and I believe he refreshes with a server hop.

Frag grenades can be had off the Super Mutants if you run Westek (and anywhere else you find them). I used to run through old raider camps as they tend to have corpses with grenades on them (Pleasant Valley, Top of the World observation deck, Bleeding Kate's Grindhouse, etc.) I dumped over 100 of them this past weekend after running Westek a number of times!

Turtle.... Amazing, totally changed my game play! I know it's dbl xp, but I had a nuka-grenade with over 22k xp. Just crazy. One in west tek was over 18k. Just loving it!!

I hope they add Nuka cherry grenades to the game. It was a grenade type in Nuka World expansion for Fallout 4. Another good source is the Nukatron collector. Great video as usual Turtle!

I agree with almost all of this. I will say, pumpkin grenades seem to do pretty well for me. And they are free. Floater gnasher grenades do make the enemy light up bright green. This makes them easier to see, but also, can act as an "everyone shoot this target" sign by making them stand out in a crowd.

Awesome information I have never used grenades, but will try it out.

Once you own the Nuka collectron, you can also program the other types of collectrons to search for cola bottles, if you prefer some other look like the BoS one for example. Just in case someone didn't realize this yet.

I just spent about 7 hours over the weekend grinding, and I started using MIRV Frags and while they don't penetrate walls, they have a nice large blast radius, so they are pretty damned useful for west tec, I tried a nuka but the blast radius is a bit too large for an inside location, I also found out that mini nuke explosions are HUGE now, I keep killing myself with them lol. (Went from level 362 to 412 in that 7 hours Sure I could have got more, but at the time I was looting corpses for caps ammo frags and gunpowder, I would have continued, but I ran out of Brain bombs springs and lead.)

I like the mirv myself because it covers a nice area i mostly use them to clean up excessive mobs at boss fights when people focus too much on the boss and everyone is getting overwhelmed by the adds. Does the damage while standing still effect work on grenades as well?

I just finished the gold bullion quest and used the quantum grenades on the ghouls in the reactor. There was a group of about 6-7 of them, all standing close together. 1 grenade and there were bodies flying everywhere and all died. Funny as hell.

I have a 2nd base within mortar range of the Clancy Manor. I get bored and toss the flares on their outposts from the cliffs, it's fun if you catch them standing still...

The dynamite bundle for me doesn't seem to work with grenadier for some reason. Though on the other hand, it seems that artillery flares work with grenadier which is fun.

A nice source of frag grens is going to the top floor of the "top of the world" and looting all the corpses

whats frun is throwing the grenade the shooting it with a 50% vats hit chance weapon on the grenade when it gets close to them it will detonate it when u want better

Daily Ops also gives you a good supply of frag grenades.

Aluminum is tough because u get ore from the extractor when u get scrap w lead extractor. I have a camp w an aluminum extractor and I'm always out of acid

Ranked up about 150 times (500 - 650) on Double XP weekend a few days ago!!! Went through about 500 Nuka Grenades at West Tec lol

Flares light areas like the colossus mine and they also scare enemies I think

I just went with a mate inside west tek with some nuka grenades and 1 out of the 5 grenade lobs - showed XP. All 5 times there were damage numbers for the moobs and deaths, but 1 of 5 rewarded XP. @AT, have you seen this issue recently?

Nuka Cola Quantum Grenade does not penetrate walls like the Nuka Cola grenade as well. I had a treasure hunter stuck in a wall dropped a quantum grenade and nothing happened threw another same thing. Threw One Nuka Cola grenade and it killed it in one hit and knocked it out of the glitched wall.

Anyone got tips for farming grenades besides super mutant killing? Server hooking won’t change those raiders inventory’s or respawn any items I’ve noticed anymore

Perhaps you could do a follow up one on landmines. I just watched a guy solo radiation rumble with a stack of nuke mines. He killed everything, every time one of those went off. It passes through walls. Everything dead, even down in the tunnels. He would drop one every 5-10 seconds. Everyone ended up just standing around because we couldn't get squat for XP. Wasted a lunchbox on this guy too...

I like the Nuka grenade I don’t think the quantum grenade penetrates walls either it’s really just got if you’re throwing it in your room it’ll clear out the room

Been looking for plasma grenade plans for at least a year. Where can I find plans? Ive only seen plans 3x at other players stores but they are always asking too much.

Yeah.. but MIRV grenade vs camp structures is amazing.able to take out 3 walls and a floor with 1 grenade.Was great when NW was available

I've had some issue with orbital strike grenades whereas some enemies don't take much damage if any. Sometimes even a mob of scorched can survive two to three strikes.

If you use the friendly fire perk, can you heal the scavenger NPCs with molotovs during Radiation Rumble?

Scrap all the golf clubs in whitesprings with the scrapper perk you will get so much aluminum

Molotavs are also a really cheap and easy way to tag things if you’re adding around with lots of people if you’re trying to get chills and you can’t get credit for anything just throw Molotavs your tag everything and then you get credit for everything

So what are some other legendaries that work with grenades? Shame bloody doesn't. But what about gourmet, or aristocrat?

What increases your explosive damage so much? i have the same perks on but can only get nuka grenades up to 460

I always keep Nuka grenades.... buying all the reg Nuka cola I can most of the time. Found them to be better than the quantums...

Don’t forget to set your collectron to Nuka colas. It used to be awesome when all it collected was regulars, never made so many nukagrenades!

Disarming grenade bundles at Whitesprings & Pleasant Valley makes for quick frag farming. Also don’t forget the Super Duper perk!! Also I like having Beckett at one of my camps as well for a steady supply of Nuka + Quantum.

Flair gun is more fun than just flair and they are much more visible since you gotta shoot them high in the air. They make something like a red lightning effect, which is cool and i think it kinda scares off low levels or unfamiliar players lol

Where can You fiind plan for nuka grenade?

I am assuming it is things like nuka grenades being thrown at events like radiation rumble? To be honest it destroys the event. Nobody can get any experience because people are throwing high explosive grenades. Use these anywhere you like but PLEASE don’t use them at public events. 👍

The nuka grenade only performs like this if you are bloodied. Full health, you'll still be grinding west tek as always. The grenades only soften them up a bit. Maybe take out the doggos or SM's in immediate area, but even then, many non-one shots, even tossing 2 at a time >:-((
