Its not about what he “Needs” to be. Its about what the viewers FUCKEN WANT. Like lets not be ridiculous, there is no hero fatigue, the stories just suck. Not a single mcu project compares to daredevil, so why the hell would i want the new daredevil to become more like the content that ive liked less. And its not about being super edgy and violent. Its about having mature storylines. Realistic bad guys, realistic fighting with non noticeable cuts. Etc

Rewatched Iron Man recently and the recasting of Rhodey/War Machine still holds up as one of the best in the MCU. The way Don Cheadle was able to seamlessly pick up where Terrance Howard left off is still impressive to this day! Can't wait to see what he brings to Armor Wars!

My entire life as a comic book fan I have felt afraid to tell people that I wasn't a fan of Tobey Maguire as Spider-Man. While I did love the first two movies for the most part (obviously not the third one) I was never really sold on Tobey in the role. For a lot of people that version was their first exposure to the character and therefore they hold him in high regard despite the many ways it strays from the source material but for me it was never really the case and I just never quite connected with it. Thank you Coy for making me feel better about having my opinion. I'm not saying that people who love that version as much as they do are wrong for doing so but I'm just sick of people acting like that is the definitive version of Spider-Man just because it's the one they grew up when in reality it often strays quite far from the character.

What I love so much about the reel rejects and especially Coy is the sheer care for these charaters (movies and comics) I live in a small city and there's really not many ppl who I can just talk to about my love which is marvel, and the future of the MCU. So, I love ppl like Warren from cosmic wonders, reel rejects, Paul from heavy spoilers, new rockstars, Ryan from screencrush etc and all comments from every video from each content creator its like one big dysfunctional family. I liked that he included Tobey and Andrew’s incarnation of Peter Parker. I wouldn’t have expected Valkyrie being so high, but that’s what I like about Coy. He’s always got something interesting to say about the comics and films, and he also seems so genuine about comics and I’ll watch a 15-20 minute video or a 1 hour and 42 minute video 😂 because Coy is always saying stuff that I find so interesting and I’ll keep watching Coy’s Comic Corner for as long as possible. KEEP IT UP, COY!!! P.S. I would be curious to see a Top 10 things Coy would want to see them do with Matt Murdock in the future of the MCU.

Listening to Coy talk about Tom’s Spider-Man was my favorite part. Love it all. Also, you were able to capture exactly what I feel about Dr Strange. The one person off the top of my head I am shocked was not on here is Sylvie. One of my favorite new additions in Phase 4 for sure. Another great video.

Wow!! This was so much work by you and I was here to appreciate everything you did. I thought I might have disagreed with some things you said, but I did not. It was obvious that a lot of careful thought went into each and every decision. I particularly liked how high Andrew Garfield was. His portrayal in NWH and the saving of MJ brought tears of joy for him. NWH has gone to the top of my list for favorite Marvel Movies. Thank you for the incredible amount of time you put into these lists for us.

Coy you are crazy for doing this and not feeling well at the same time. I actually think that you list is a really good one for all the right reason's. Watched the entire thing and I think the only thing I might change is the flipping 1 and 2. Also I do love Garfield's Spidey take but I couldn't fully buy into his Peter. But him in the suit is actually really damn good especially the scene when he interacts with the car thief and the cop, I always felt that was some top tier Spider-Man quips. But none the less great job on the list and hope you feel better soon.

I'd watch a 200 hero list video if you put it out! Thanks as always for the great, in-depth content Coy. Never get tired of listening to you talk about this stuff. I would love to see a list of top "non-obvious" characters you want to see in the MCU, and maybe casting choices for them. Everyone knows the FF are coming, various X-Men like Professor X and Magneto, there are characters that are big enough you know it will happen. But what are maybe some more out there characters that the MCU might do but there's no guarantees. I'm thinking like Beta Ray Bill (loved the mention in this video btw), Polaris, Brother Voodoo, Annihulus, Gwenpool, Angela, will we see a non-Willem DaFoe Norman Osborn to lead the Dark Avengers, most people are talking about Dr. Doom for the Secret Wars movie but what about the OG The Beyonder, the list could go on. Side note: Unrelated but wanted to throw out some casting choices, see if you had thoughts. - Dr. Doom - I have a top 3, but unfortunately I don't think any of them will land it for various reasons (which I'll list with each of my picks). Just one of the factors when considering this is knowing that Doom will often be in a mask, I want someone who can deliver with their eyes and put the fear in people. With that, my list: 3. Vincent Cassel (Westworld; he's previously voiced his displeasure with comic book movies) 2. Sterling K. Brown (don't need to mention anything specific, I know you know who he is; obviously already in the MCU but maybe it was a small enough part we could see him again.) 1. Hugh Laurie (The Night Manager; he's probably too old for what the MCU would want.) - Jean Grey/Phoenix - Kaitlyn Dever (Dopesick; She was incredible at portraying gut-wrenching inner turmoil which I feel like would translate really well to Jean struggling to deal with her Phoenix side. Hard to know what age range the MCU will introduce the X-Men at though.) This comment was insanely long so even if you took the time to read one sentence, thank you. Get better soon!

I knew Iron Man was gonna be number 1, but I'm super happy Captain America made it to number 2. It's hard to relate to Steve Rogers for sure, but I think he's such an inspiration. You mentioned in one of your previous rankings (I think maybe the best fight scenes in the MCU?) one of my favorite Cap moments. In Endgame, after Steve wielded Mijolnir and have Thanos a hard fight, he was overwhelmed and had his shield completely shattered. He was the only one awake to hear Thanos give his speech of malice, and then proceeded to descend with his entire army. You said that that moment showed us who Captain America is. That moment captured the essence of Steve Rogers. His arm gashed, shield broken, allies down, completely outnumbered, he gets up and tightly fastens the shield around his bleeding arm, blaring horns in the background, ready to fight. He was completely ready to fight Thanos and his army alone. Hell, he would've, had everyone not come back. I absolutely adore that moment. The lighting in the sky, shining through the darkness, all from Steve. The idea that someone will not be knocked down, no matter the pain they take, no matter the punishment, that person can keep going. That's so inspiring to me. He really can do this all day. 😅

Great video! I can tell a lot of work and heart went into it, Coy. I would love to see you rank the Fox X-Men characters now that it's over. What he thought they got right and didn't. I genuinely loved the series even with the changes. All comic book movies change some things but for some reason X-Men got criticized the most. People forget that the MCU could learn from the X-Men's mistakes. X-Men was out there with not much to go on in terms of superhero team movies. Batman and Robin stink was still fresh in peoples minds. That's why I don't fault them much on the changes. They were out there blind and they managed to be the first successful and profitable line of movies featuring a superhero team.

Great video Coi!! Such an incredible difficult task to list your top 75 heroes in order. But I absolutely agree w your top 5. I’m a little iffy in Daredevil’s placement, I’d maybe swap him w Tom Holland on my list, but absolutely agree w the rest. I was torn as to whether Cap would be my number 1, but I think Tony etches him out a bit as you see true growth with him versus Cap was always good, so even though there was still growth over his arch, Tony was a true transformation.

Coy I can listen to you talking for hours man! I respect your ranking, its actually not too far from mine at least top 10. but for me number 1 is definitey mcu spider-man. I relate him the most, i understand his pain the most and i am absolutely mesmerized how a 17 years old teenager lost everything he has ever known in life in less than a day, hasnt turned into a villain. Especially after seeing Hawkeye and listening to Kate tell him how he saved her in the Battle of New York and inspired her, I vote for Clint Barton, aka Hawkeye! (I love that he is NOT superpowered, but still shows up!) So sad to hear about Jeremy Renner's accident. I pray he recovers quickly so we can continue to see him mentor Kate Bishop!

Also I feel like you do a good job of giving constructive criticism of why certain aspects of character didn't work, but also show love for the things that you thought did work and what they could do in future. Some people take the criticism to far and it becomes hate for the character and stupidly on their part, the actor where you do a good job of saying don't blame the actors for the flaws you might see.
