Here are my opinions on the titles: Gen 1: Let's GO Pikachu and Eevee (already exist, DUUH); Gen 2: Let's GO Togepi and Marill, same reasons as you said in the video; Gen 3: Let's GO Zigzagoon and Skitty / Roselia and Ralts / Wynaut and Shuppet, dunno really, not that much of a Gen 3-fan anyway, they just kinda fit..; Gen 4: Let's GO Buneary and Buizel, it's SO perfect if you've seen the anime - although I REALLY want a Shinx as my partner in my favorite region, as it's the base evolution of my second-place favorite Pokémon ever, but it doesn't really fit that well in any duo..; Gen 5: Let's GO Minccino and Zorua, gets the Black and White color theme as well; Gen 6: Let's GO Pancham and Espurr, same as you said; Gen 7: Let's GO Rockruff and Stufful, again, same as you said in the video; Gen 8: Let's GO Yamper (dedinitely most likely gonna happen, of they ever do a Let's GO of Gen 8) and Nickit...? I feel like they fit, but is Nickit popular enough for that to be successful? But then, what about our boi Snom?! But these are just _my_ opinions.

3:24 Well what you said about Marill’s chances being negatively affected doesn’t really make sense, as Pikachu has *the exact same situation.* Pikachu evolves from Pichu, which is a baby Pokémon.

If there is a sequel. I hope to see Let’s go Mew and Let’s go Clefairy. Neither of those characters ever got much love outside of the original games even though both were originally considered as possible mascots for pokemon.

Gen 3 is for sure the hardest to find new mascots for, but I submit Poochyena and Skitty

I think Let’s go Pulsle and Minun can still work. Thanks to the brand new features and the Pokemultiverse introduced recently Plusle and Minun can easily be retconned so that they have version exclusive stuff going for them. Like maybe a mega that makes Plusle a Fire/Electric type and Minun a Water/Electric type. Team Magma and Team Aqua can also still be at it again depending on the exclusive you get. Just so many possibilities now...

let's go growlithe and let's go vulpix would also be possible, both need fire stone to evolve and they can only be found in 1 version each

Maybe it could be Buneary since she also can evolve with friendship and she's in the same region as Riolu.

actually riolu and buneary would be great choices cuz they both have 2 evolutions which in case they also have mega's.

As long as every game takes inspiration from the Anime as well as following the story line of the game I think this would be awesome. How I think they should do it is: Have you play the same characters as you did in Let's Go PE (Mimicking the fact that Ash has travelled all the regions) Either have us start of with Pikachu/Eevee (Yet again referencing Ash always traveling with Pikachu) and being able to catch all the starters or have us start with one of the two Box Art Pokemon fitting of the region Have Jessie, James and Meowth be in all games and maybe have Cassidy and Butch appear in some of them. Things specific to each region: Johto: Have us catch Chikorita first (similar to how Ash obtained one in Episode 126 The Chikorita Rescue) Cyndaquil second (Similar to how Ash obtained on in Episdode 141 Good 'Quil Hunting) and Totodile last (similar to how Ash obtained one in Episode 151 The Totodile Dual having to fight your rival or Misty for ownership of it) Have us encounter a Shiny Noctowl Have Tracey be a character Have Casey be a character or make a cameo Have Ritchie be a character, but maybe this time have him have the same Pokemon as you no matter what version you pick Have Macey (The fire type girl from the Silver conference only because that was the first Johto episode I watched) make a Cameo Give Gligarman a cameo xD Have a GS ball post game event where Sam (Professor Oak as a child) from the 4th Movie come protecting a Celebi (Referencing Pokemon 4Ever). You have to protect it from the Iron Masked Marauder (Who owns a Sneasel, Tyranitar and Scizor during the first few fights and eventually Celebi). Hoenn: Have us not be the child of Norman (For the Hoenn Region) Have either May or a character exclusive to this game be appearing owning a Torchic. Have Max be this character's/May's little brother. Have this character/May be the child of Norman instead of you and don't let Birch be your father either. You'll probably have a lack of true rivals similar to the actual Hoenn games (Suprisingly pretty darn similar to the Advanced Generations series) sadly and I can't figure who that would be so maybe just still have Wally Have you obtain the starters similar to the way Ash and his companions did in the Anime (don't exactly remember how as it's been many years since last time I watched that season) with maybe the exception of Torchic as May got it as a starter instead make a new way to obtain it Have a Latias/Latios Post Game event where you rescue them from two Pokemon Poachers and then during the end obtaining the one specific to your version and the other maybe "dying" (Or even better you obtaining the one opposite of the characters gender referencing Ash getting kissed by Latias) Have a Jirachi Post Game event where you save a Jirachi from a Magma Admin and have to fight his special Groudon Have a Deoxys Post Game event where you fight against two different Deoxys and get to catch one (Don't remember much of the movie so this could have lots added to it) Sinnoh: Have Paul be our Rival (For the Sinnoh Region) Have you obtain a Chimchar abandoned by Paul (Similar to Ash's Chimchar), have you obtain a Turtwig (don't actually remember how obtained that one, but still make it similar to the Anime), don't know if Piplup should be obtained in such a way as Ash never had one himself, but maybe let you obtain as a normak catch, don't have any clue. Let Dawn or Lucas exist taking inspiration from Dawn of the Anime owning a Piplup with an Everstone. Have a Darkrai Post Game event where Darkrai is causing one of the town nightmares (probably a newly added town referencing the one from the movie) and transfroming the Mayor to a Lickilicki and it trying to protect the world from both Dialga and Palkia, but instead of dying saving the world you'll be able to catch it. Have a Shaymin Post Game event (and maybe Giratina depending on how much inspiration from the Platinum game it would get) where you have to Protect a Shaymin from Giratina and it unlocking its Skyform to save the world from Giartina and you finally getting to catch it/them (Honestly don't remember a whole lot from the movie so the things I said now might not even be close to how the movie happened) Have an Arceus Post Game event where Arceus wreak havoc on the region and fighting the Creation Trio (You'll have to obtain all three to to even be able to start the event, but you also need all the Plates of Arceus, recieve the Azure flute and sound it on the top of Mt. Coronet to start the event) you'll need to find the Jewel Of Life to calm it down finally letting you catch it. Most importantly have Tobias be the champion of Sinnoh (Maybe after having defeated it three times still having Cynthia be the champion the first two times) and owning a Darkrai and Latios (referencing him coming out of fucking no where with his Deus Ex Machina team of both a Legendary and Mythical ruining Ash's only real chance to become the Champion! Oh and maybe add four other team members that are just incredibly strong probably more Legendaries and Mythicals, but we don't have to stretch it) Don't remember much else of the anime so not anymore clues and I honestly stopped watching the Anime after Diamond and Pearl with the exception of Sun and Moon though it would be strange to jump from Sinnoh to Alola skipping Unova and Kalos so I'll stop here

This may be stupid to say, but in X Y and Z Froakie was a huge hit and riolu was no different in other titles and even though they may be from different regions they could be a Ginormous selling point

I think one of Gen III’s Let’s Go games could be something like Delibird, though it would also be really nice to see them really lay into Gen III’s theme of ancient/forgotten strengths (and yhat whole notion that sometimes old things hold extremely powerful secrets) by giving you a powerful Relicanth early on that has the ability (like Eevee and Pikachu do in the current LG games) to unlock secret, powerful moves. It would be cool to have a new way of unlocking those, too, like maybe you can complete puzzles in some of the ruins and caves to unlock them. I’d like the see the concept of having a “special” starter Pokémon be adapted to fit the themes of each game, rather than just being the same cut-and-paste, circus-leader-in-a-pokemon-center gimmick across them all.

I think I'd prefer a Let's Go Pikachu/Eevee 2: Johto, where we can continue our journey as the same character and same partner pokemon. Would have to tweak the story a bit, but that's hardly a big deal, the story was changed a bit in Let's Go1 already. anyway. When starting a new game you're given the option to import data from Let's Go1 to get you're character and partner again (same name, id etc) or create a new character (think Mass Effect). Your partner pokemon will have its level reset and you wont be able to bring over pokemon from Let's Go1 until you've beaten the Elite 4 in Johto. I haven't thought out every single detail obviously, this is just a rough idea of how to do it. The reason why I like this idea is because it would feel more like MY journey in the pokemon world rather than playing out the events of a characters journey. Edit - just adding some thoughts on how the game new game could start. - The game could start in 2 different ways. If you start a new character or you import a pre-elite 4 character you start at Professor Oak's lab, with Oak telling you and Trace about a message he received from Professor Elm in Johto about a discovery and wants you to go see him. If you import a post elite 4 character, the game starts directly after beating Trace, Oak walks you to the Hall of Fame, you and your pokémon get registered (the pokémon used from the last time you defeated the elite 4/trace) and then one of Professor Oak's aides come in straight after with Elm's message and that's how you and Trace get sent to Johto. In both occasions Oak says there are new pokémon to be discovered in Johto and suggests you leave your pokémon from Kanto behind, giving us our reason (granted a weak one) for only having our starter.

if ur trying to keep an electric normal theme for unova, why not lillipup and emolga? lillipup is a cute normal dog pokemon similar to the concept of eevee, while emolga... well u already mentioned it :D

It could appear as a pikachu and the professor thought it was a pikachu, but you end up with a Mimikyu, and it becomes common theme in Poksmon Let's Go Mimikyu

Going in, I immediately thought of Rockruff, Komala, Togedemaru, Pyukumuku, and Mimikyu for the Alolan Let's Go games, but I completely forgot about Stufful! Rockruff feels like a given, but I am now in love with the idea of Stufful being the other mascot.

Honestly I would love it when we can keep our partner Pokemon from the first game. It would feel more like a real sequel then and this eould make your bond zo your partner even stronger. Kinda like Ash is taking Pikachu to every new region he visits. Of course the level of your partner needs to be reseted then but I honestly don't see a problem with that.

Late to the party but you forgot one big thing: Partner Pokémon in Let's Go refuse to evolve. (Not even Eevee, the *Evolution* Pokémon did.) So it's not important from what family the mascots are from. They will be disconnected to them anyway.

I just came here to say that they're just going to release DLC of the new regions to give the fans what they want: a console Pokémon game with all the region in one title.

When I saw the thumbnail I started doing Togepi and Marill noises.

I could see the gen 4 pair being Riolu and Buneary and the gen 6 pair being Dedenne and Pancham. For gen 7 the problem with Pyukumuku as a starter is that it doesn't learn any attacking moves. It gets Bide/Counter at best.

I like Pichu as the mascot, but only if it is that Spiky Eared Pichu with Partner Pikachu stats. As of the second mascot, I would like to see Red's Eevee that can evolve and devolve at will (Eevee out of battle, can evolve mega style mid battle, and de-evolve after battle.)

I think that togedemaru and rockruff bring out the dynamic between pikachu and eevee. Both marketable and both have staples in the anime and game, with togedemaru as Sophocles’ partner in the anime and games (kind of), and rockruff being kikui’s in the anime, then ash’s, and being the first Pokémon you see in sun and moon as kikui’s partner. I also think dedenne and pancham working as well, for marketability and that they have staples in the anime. I can’t say anything about the games though because I’ve never played X or Y.

I can see this being the path forward. Do remakes of games from outside the 3DS era, so people can play all the generations. Hoenn, Kalos, and Alola were already there, so do Johto, Sinnoh, and Unova, allowing our 3DS Pokémon free travel to all of them through Bank. I really want my TeamDex to get all region championships. I’m OCD that way.

Let's Go Johto boyyyyyyyyyyyyyy! I started with Gen 2 way back in 2000 so having a Gen 7 / 8 re-imagining of Gold / Silver / Crystal will be the best thing ever for me personally. Especially if they bring Ethan and Kris back as the protagonists.
