Maybe there could be a factions system implemented? You can either join the Pinkertons, O’driscoll’s, Van der linde, or whatever other gangs there are.
I was thinking more of a faction system, the van der linde could give you special abilities in terms of guns and handling, the pinkertons could give you better dead eye skill like a detective or so, the O’driscolls could give you fancy gun skins and clothes. Just a Thought.
He was in the gang for awhile at the end of Arthur's time, and who knows how long Dutch kept the smaller gang of Javier, Bill, Micah, Cleet and Joe going for

I don't how they can add Arthur since he was always with gang but maybe John is a good idea since he left for a year so maybe he found our online character

@Guy Panzerboss They could give you personality options including no personality, but as it is your character already has some body language you have no control of so the complaint is kind of moot. Besides when you consider they already pretty much have a set default personality which is barely anything at all and makes the whole thing empty and lifeless, I think people will appreciate the ability to add some real personality beyond the dead faced stare, head nod, idle animations, and the occasional body movements.
Or atleast explain it why they don’t talk. They should have made where in the beginning of RDR2O you see your character get their tounge cut out by a bad dude. Then at the end of all the story missions you kill the bastard and that’s what explains how you don’t ever talk
Im fine with it why would i want someone to voice me some people make characters to look random while i make myself why some random voice actor voicing a character who is me?
I think there are quite a few characters you could do with this. I don't think Dutch Hosea or Arthur would be possible since they're always with the gang but John did run off for about a year or so and micah was only recruited within the last 6 months of the games beginning so I think they would be interesting adds. Not to mention there were 3 other characters that died in the blackwater massacre that could also be introduced in online

Matthew Feagins your characters legit screams and make pain noises with there vocal cords bruh. Rockstar should make our characters gain the ability to at least utter a yes and no

Imagine if they added a mission where you help a certain crew with the heist of a lifetime in Blackwater. We'd get to see how everything went wrong, and I'm sure everyone would be excited to have one last run with the Van Der Lindes.

I still can't get over the silent protagonist when playing online, its just awkward. The only way to justify it would be if you told yourself the person your playing as is a mute.
It'd be cool if they had added a part where you can stumble upon Arthur and John about to commit a robbery or something. Maybe there could be a time when you see Dutch and/or Hosea from a distance but never talk to them directly, bc let's be honest those 2 would recruit anyone, guaranteed they'd recruit the player into the gang if they had spoken
I think it's more likely we'll meet some of the characters we heard about in the start of the game. Like Jenny, Mac who got captured and that other dude who died shortly after arriving in the mountain camp.
It'd be so cool to see missions with all of the Van der Linde members who passed. We have Sean, but imagine Kieran, Lenny, Hosea, and maybe even Eagle Flies (I know he's not a Van der Linde but still)

I know this is of topic, but for an RDR1 remake or remaster potentially I want a line of dialogue between John and Dutch where Dutch reveals he killed Charles in Sadie in between killing Micah and RDR1. It just seems like something Dutch would do, kill those he believes betrayed him.
