Mitch Mulah yeah, even when you are completing it on ng++ and they invade you on meta 120-140 levels they are really bad. One guy had frieda’s Scythe and just spammed the WA, in the end he just jumped to me and died because of the fall damage

Whats wrong with that ? Some people like to play coop. As a invader i respect that. Mostly they are not much skilled in PvP and have no clue about the PvP. Not that hard owning some pve casuals.
PvEers in general can't live more than a minute when they are left alone with an invader, mostly because they are taught by the game itself that you can just stunlock the shit out of 99% of all enemies.
@redxpen Chase is really good, but he is far from the being the best PvP player, there are some insane duelers out there. Just to mention some: Jeenine, Gabri, Hakrist, Painted Phantoms, Aether... the tryhard dueling community is too good.
The two blues at 8:18 were straight up clowns. Just spamming R1 and spells despite being hit twice thinking: "Alright he's not gonna keep swinging, even though that's all I've been doing."
Isaiah does gaming Lmao, I’ve been in DS3 PvP for years, and I play some of the best players on PC all the time. I don’t ALWAYS win, as I’ve only gotten into the competitive scene within the last year, but I sure as hell know a bit about pvp.
Because the game is laggy and using an ultra is the only true viable offensive option against anything other than straight swords... Btw I have never left a comment complaining, Chase is a god but PvP in this game is balanced around gimmicks not skill and there's no doubt about that...
@@Bratjuuc I didnt play DS1 online so I don't know what you mean. I have played plenty of DS3 pvp to understand the balance and see a clear meta. The game is basically rock, paper, scissors between crits, Ultras, and straight swords. I have beaten the game with every basic class and dozens of weapons, unfortunately the only way to win PvP consistently is to abuse two of the three options...
@@yeahr1ghty ds1 had instant backstabs is what he meant, backstabbing in ds3 is risky and only rewarding if you are very skilled. As you can see in some of the invasions i was getting battered while trying to get backstabs as practice. If i wanted to only win i would not back stab and i would just play defensive, space and light attack with fast weapons. All the people you see landing backstabs and parry swaps in ds3 take legit skill and practice. While hitting R1 in a group with a ss is toddler level skill
@@yeahr1ghty none of those backstabs would have happen if the players hadn't % while (invader.alive()){ spam_attack(); } % as their main strategy. Punishing them with backstabs is a good thing.
Would be a valid complaint in ds1, it's basically a magnet, just be vaguely behind someone maybe 5 meters away boom backstab. In ds3 it's fair, if someone manages to backstab you a lot its probably your own fault.
Only time I will accept being backstabbed is when it’s actually from behind, the instant the game does the laggy face backstab from five feet away in front is when I peace out.
Turning around and clapping someone who was chasing you just 2 seconds ago while shouting "I'M NOT AFRAID OF YOU! NOBODY'S AFRAID OF YOU! YOU'RE TRASH!" I've found is the best way to kill people.

Backstab fishing is ok when you're vs gankers but in duels if you do that you're disgusting trash, not so different from people that abuse the rkss cancel which is borderline cheating

Man I loved that almost full armor swap (: theyve come so far and it's really awesome to see you throw that playstyle in more. It's a very fun style to watch as well as use.
Infused did a pretty good job there, and that last mage there was pretty smart with some of his casts. Thats dangerous af, when a mage is being smart with crystal soul spears

dark souls pvp (as far as i know) basically just relied entirely on backstabs. Its like Zandatsu's in Metal Gear Rising. Its so much more than just the damage or healing respectively and i couldnt imagine any of his gankspanks without them
He's not exactly wrong though, Chase has a rather heavy reliance, overreliance even, on critical attacks, Backstabs and Ripostes with the Hornet Ring. Don't get me wrong, it works, but I wish people wouldn't treat Hornet Ring as if it's the absolute best ring in the game and a must have for anti-ganking.
Quarantine has made ne stronger in real life and in gaming. I have monkey feet now, and I have learned how to chain backstab in remastered. MY POWER AND POTENTIAL IS INFINITE!!!
Dual wielding the twinaxes (and other dual wielders) lowers the required strength by 1.5, but it'll still show the red X as if the strength requirement isnt being met because it isnt but it also is, idk theres something about it that they never fixed. Edit: so it works the same as two handing, but the game tries to lie to you
Well that playstyle kind of is a cowards way of playing. It was hated and frowned upon in DS1 and this honestly holds true in DS3. No honor/respect for backstab abusers, and chase sadly has been doing it for years. It's actually why me and a friend of mine unsubbed^^
I've gotten messages like that " you only parry and backstab its easy " if it's so easy, why doesn't he do the same? you cant do it to me cause i play with a whip and dont let my back exposed simple lol except the ultimate china lagstab. i'm playing with Rose of Ariandel, a dagger, a shield, and avelyn :p
Honestly it's wrong in both sides. Players whose only objective is to win so they play safely by only doing backstabs and playing passively, and players who only r1 spam the slowest weapons in the game and expect others to trade with them.
That host at the end has got to be the worst type of player in this game. 1) He sets up a gank. 2) He chooses to fight in an area where he can have his mage boyfriend spam soul spears at attackers. 3) Disconnects as soon as his mage boyfriend dies. How spineless can you be?

I wonder what platform he plays on? I kind of hope he invades my world someday, I'm almost always embered to give invaders a chance but most of them I've fought lately have been kind of bad.
Am I the only one who gets a lil upset wen chase abuses the bugs and exploits of the backstabbing? Love the vids, love the honor he usually shows, but the bow after a glitches backstab feels worse to me than the point down.
Lmao no i use it against sweaty teams. You just seen me use it a lot before because i had to practice. Now i have it down and only use it when im fighting teams and such that use similar things against me hah.
