Yeah definitely not a bad choice if you have a heavy or large payload. Even perfectly balanced I was getting shakes depending on where the arms were. I think it's a 2fold problem, firstly the arms themselves with the extension attached are able to flex enough that even when balanced while stationary as it moves to a specific position the arms can flex enough for it to be technically unbalanced. Also without the powerplus pack it's just missing the torque it needs even at lower settings. The harmonic vibration it used to get seems to have been fixed in firmware 1.8

Definitely the DJI RS2 at the moment. It just feels good to handle and does exactly what I want it to every time. An actually finessed and professional product right out of the box.

I'm glad it's working out for you, just wasn't for me sadly. There's definitely nothing that comes close to it tho if you're flying something as heavy as the DZO

I like the Zhiyun brand, but since having the crane 2 and trying to balance the P4K/Sigma setup it has drove me insane and I don't want to risk buying another gimbal from them and it not working.

I'd definitely recommend the RS2 over the Crane 3S. And even more so if you can spend a little extra and get the RS3, that thing looks like it could be the last gimbal you ever need to buy

I sold is about 6 months after this video actually. I moved onto the fx6 and the rs3. It's a killer combo and solves all the issues I had with the crane 3. Can't recommend it enough

@@BuyersGuyd We shoot on Red V-Raptors and Komodos. And we use Zeiss Supreme Primes. When the Komodo is kitted out with matte box, nucleus (focus only), and lens support, it’s about 12lbs 1oz. (5.4kilos). That’s about 85% of the Crane 3S’s limit. Can’t even attempt the Raptor.

Ahhh fair enough. Yeah Ronin 2 seems a goer. I'm surprised they haven't updated the professional range in so long. Ronin 2 is like 6 years old at this point

The DJI RS2 fits the bmpcc 6k pro very well and is currently my favourite gimbal. There are whispers and rumours of an RS3 launching sometime in the near future so make sure you factor that into your buying decision

I can definitely recommend the DJI RS2! I haven't used the RS3 but it seems a little bit better in every way so I'd probably say pick that up if the price increase fits your budget

What camera and lens? I can try to replicate something similar. The weight itself would definitely be fine

@@BuyersGuyd BMPC4K + Sigma 1835 + Great Joy 1.33x Anamorphic = 3Kg ish, front heavy setup.

I have a bmpcc6k + sigma 18-35, don't have the great joy but I do have the sirui FF 50mm anamorphic. I've run the fx6 + sirui FF 1.6x 50mm and it worked great
