the comparison you provided of the different campgrounds was really interesting. We weren't even thinking of looking at what was available when there were drone shots. now that you explain how animals rely on grass it all makes sense as to why some people struggled a lot more with food than others.

Good insight on bush manglement/management practices Mike. It's great to get the more indepth view of what was happening on the show too.

I am not sure this is good example of survival. In my view the contestants should have put somewhere where there was plenty of natural resources as a food supply. That way each person could truly test their bush skills. Placing the contestants in an area that First Nations people would abandon in the winter months was unfair.

As I'd watched each of them as Mike posted them on Facebook I don't think I'd even realised. 😂 He might have one for each day of the week! A travel writer I follow who makes read/watch/listen material, packs duplicates of clothing intentionally for consistency when filming. I'm sure Mike will be happy for us to chip in through the purchase of his book and / or movie when they are available. Looking forward to both, going by how much I enjoyed Surviving the Outback and the extra material that went with that.

2 questions Mike. How many med checks did you have in that first week with Covid? And, on first day do you all have breakfast at same time then no more food, ie what’s procedure at start? Thanks Anthony

@@ErinHext I think your right dude, its the only lake thats long and thin other than lake mackintosh. But Pieman looks more like a river than a lake.

No grass and almost impossible to fish. What approach do you take? Surly the areas could have been chosen to give the contestants a little hope. Thank you for theses few shows that are showing the true history of Australia being settled. It’s far from what we have been led to believe. Please keep pushing the true story of what actually happened.
@OutbackMike

Thank you. Yes. It needs to be common knowledge and acted upon by our land managers.

Totally agree. They should have been in a place where bush tucker was plentiful and enough game to have a reasonable chance of trapping.
