Alpine ILX-507 Reverse camera problem. Update: I had to cut a tiny pink wire in the camera harness 

You have to go into settings I think and change the camera input type if I remember right anyway on those head units for it to work correctly. There's a setting you have to change and then it will work

I purchased this and my rear cam worked for 1 hour .And also it displays sirius radio but has no audio .regular FM plays sound so does my ipod through Bluetooth but no sound from satellite radio. Any ideas. Thank you

Was the pink wire you cut in the harness for radio or on camera.

The one that you have is AHD you need CVBS (NTSC video signal).

Try adding a ground wire from the rca adaptor and ground it to body or to the radio harness.

Tie power behind the radio not the reverse light circuit. Tie into the switched hot into the radio. It's probably not getting enough current to stay on

if you wanna watch videos going down the road ground tie the green wire the ground it works

Alpine 507 does not support AHD 720, which my natika can output for best pic. At 5:18 shows AHD as default output for camera? The screen cuts off the bottom which would say what pink wire does. I think it changes output from AHD to NTSC/CVBS? There is nada in the alpine specs/manual about what camera video input is supported. There is a crutchfield review comment on ilx-507 that says no AHD 720P, i would guess no AHD at all, but not 100% as my cam is AHD 720p. crutch comment is 7/10/2022 titled "All the Bells & Whistles" fyi. this just happened to me same as you diff cam...with a 720p screen on the ilx-507 crazy me i expected AHD 720p digital not analog. Boo Alpine.
