First 7 weeks I lost 15lbs doing alternate day fasting.(BTW, I'm 70) I'm still going. 20 more lbs. Hang in there everyone and believe you can do it !! ADF is very helpful for food addicts, emotional eaters etc. Having to face food, what to eat and how much e-v-e-r-y-d-a-y is really a chore for people like us. It is a relief in many ways to just know, "I'm not eating today". When feeling discouraged I tell myself when fasting "this is the day that makes it all happen" and I know, THAT is the TRUTH.
I’m a dentist....and I would like to address something you are doing that could damage your teeth. You mentioned you “brush”;your teeth after the vinegar and lemon juice. Vinegar and lemon juice will SOFTEN the teeth, so I wouldn’t recommend brushing after the juice. It would be much better to just rinse out after vinegar-lemon to remove the acid but don’t brush for 30 minutes!

I do keto and only eat between 12 lunch and 6pm and I am losing a constant 3lbs a week - basically Im just skipping breakfast and avoiding carbs, sugar and junk. Easiest diet ever.
I am a figure bodybuilding competitor. Intermittent fasting SAVED MY LIFE! I was forced eating 6-7 times a day and it didn’t matter how many hours I slept, I felt exhausted no matter what. I fell asleep everywhere. Mood swings were horrible. Until COVID-19 hit us and I had a lot of time to reflect on myself, my body, and my life. Now I do 18/6 IF I am FULL of energy, burning fat like crazy, still lift FASTED and drinking black coffee first thing in the AM, I LOVE MY LIFE. No more brain fog. No more lack of energy. No more forever tiredness and consuming around 1550 calories! I LOVE MY LIFE. did I say, I LOVE MY LIFE?
I don’t know who could argue seeing your results. I couldn’t lose a pound, not one pound until keto and IF, even after losing 60 pounds people still want to argue lol it’s them they don’t want to believe it.
Donna Gordon they don’t understand balance, we eat vegetables that help to detox the liver. There is a system to the madness. Congratulations 🎉🍾🎊 keep up the discipline!
@@Elle9228000 the liver just does what it always does. People can thrive without veggies and often feel much better without fiber. Studies have shown this as well.
@@dana102083 not all people some people. I just finished a a salad with bulgur(high in fiber) and although the rest of my family feel fine, I'm letting out a lot of gas😂 Mind you, I only had about 4 table spoons of it
You keep mentioning that you aren't a doctor or expert. The fact that you have lost 120 pounds makes you an expert! Most doctors don't know very much about losing weight. I learned this 22 years ago when I started the Atkins diet. Dr. Jason Fung is an excellent choice. Keep up the great work. Your success speaks volumes! (Mike Scott, Ottawa, Canada)
In my opinion...Doctors(not all) know this. They would rather you use pills or other things. If you are healthy and don’t need them, they don’t get paid. I’m 53, 226...well 219 now, 5’9”, and was an athlete most of my life. IF has put me back on track with weight loss. I did 16:8 but results were slow. I’m now doing Alternate Day Fasting. Do what’s good for you. My menopausal ass needed this. Do you!
I am a type 2 diabetic and started this journey 5 months ago. I started off slowly cutting out the carbs. After 5 to 6 weeks I was off my night time insulin. So happy❣ I have a long ways to go. 55 to 60 lbs to go. It is coming off slower than I anticiipated from reading other people's journeys . I know everyone is different and I shouldn't compare. I was excited to see you were a type 2 diabetic too. 🤗💗
Points for progress. Huge minuses for her "new" attitude which is awful :((( "if you don't agree with me leave me alone!!! For real????You are recording for us and at the same time you are insulating us. How low you can go!!!!
Hi, I fell off the wagon and it rolled over me. I haven't felt well eating garbage. I had lost 40lbs and have gained about 15 or more I just couldn't look at the scale this week. So I got back on Keto/IF, which is how I lost the 40. This is my 3rd day back on. I feel much better and all my bloat has gone down. Im an emotional eater and have lost and gained 100+ lbs a few times in my life. So I actually feel good that I stopped this time and got back on. If anyone read this far thanks. Jess thanks for the inspiration!
I’m right there with you. Getting back on the wagon too. It’s taken some trial and error to figure out what works, but I feel amazing on carnivore and like crap when I eat crap. I guess I’m a slow learner 🙄
Not the wagon rolled over you 😂😂😂 I just ROTFL this is what happened to me a few times until I decide I am gonna to this shit and I went all out super strict lost 65lbs now I am back at it even harder ... THX
I was on keto for year and half went from 230 to 175 but decided to add whole grain and potatoes ended up adding sugar after sugar feel miserable because I couldn't control the sugar intake. Going back to completely keto
hope youre doing well my friend, right there with you, if its not going well, one great piece of advice i heard was: "You don't have to be the person you were 5 minutes ago." Godspeed!
I just wanted to thank you for being straightforward and not having obnoxious background music on you videos! I"m 67 and have gone from 160 to 155 in about a week on ADF and keto. Thanks.
Keep up the good work and stick at it you've done amazing. Losing weight is my biggest fight along side mental health.. Winning the mental battle atm but losing the weight battle sadly would u recommend OMAD or ADF more?
Dr. Jason Fung was a great choice. He explains fasting so well. I'm a 77 year old male and have been on Atkins 22 years and have kept my 82 pounds off. I've decided to lose another 15 pounds because I'm older and don't need the weight. Carbs of any kind quickly increase my hunger. Bacon and eggs reduce my hunger by about 95%. I went on a two week fast and found it very satisfying. I believe this was the case because since fasting is the burning of ketones which is mostly fat. This doesn't seem to spike my insulin enough to create hunger. For me it seems to be far easier to remain on a fast for two weeks or more than the first two days on the fast. This tells me that I'm probably taking more than two days before really starting to burn ketones. This would probably depend on just how low my carb count was before starting my fast in the first place. All the best. (Mike Scott, Ottawa, Ontario, Canada)
I'm wondering the same thing. I've done five day fasts with the first two days being the hardest. Alternative day fasts seems to mean doing the hardest days repeatedly. Wondering what the differences are for fat burning--and autophagy. Like you I'm very insulin resistant.
I have been concentrating on cutting the carbs intake. It worked for about 8lbs in 14 days, then I noticed my plane going into stall mode. Craving for a 2 sour dough muffins in the morning was the problem. Even with a reduced cal. carb intake it plays hell with results. Now no carbs from any bread and I am back on tract. My goal is 100 lbs. lose. What helps me mentally is looking a 80lbs bag of cement I have stored under cabinet where a dish washer used to be. I have been carrying one of those for 20 years unnecessarily. Hopefully I will use that bag of cement when I reach my 100 lbs. loss goal. Was your 2 week fast only with water? Thanks for your input M.S .
It sounds like you've been harassed for sharing your experience. Sorry to hear that. People need to get a grip. All this anger all around must be spiking their blood sugars. Keep on course to help those who appreciate your efforts.
If you didn’t lose another pound it would be ok because you look FANTASTIC, I’ve watched you since October and I have no doubt that your going to make your goal but girl you are beautiful fat or thin and I’ve watched all your videos and watched you unfold. I don’t know you but I’m proud of you You go girl !
Your hair is beautiful! Yes, I am just beginning my ADF journey. Some days, I have had coffee with cream and sugar. I have learned to stop being so rigid with myself. I am no longer beating myself up about having something, if I need to. Also, there are times when I have broken my fast early, and I was okay with that. It’s a marathon, not a race. My body needs time to adjust, I have hormones, and sometimes I have stress. It’s okay to “take it slow” as you say. Thanks for the video.
You are my best friend in my head 😂 everytime I watch a video I feel like we're catching up on our progress lol! It's good support when you don't have people around you in the same mindset!
I love that u explained that every time you eat u r telling your body to store fat. This will help me think twice when I want to snack between meals! Thanks for the tip 😁
I am a senior citizen and have lost 100lbs. I lost it with keto. I have started on I.F. And now up to 18-20hr fasts. My weight loss is very slow! I keep this schedule everyday. Since I had taken up Keto as a lifestyle in my forever life. I am enjoying your honesty, tips and tricks! ❤Thank you❤
If anyone had told me a year ago that I'd be fasting now, I would have thought they were crazy. It was nowhere on my radar and the thought alone terrified me. But this journey is a process of learning what my body needs and what it will respond to. I began IF and it was helping just a little. (I am the slowest loser in the world!) Last week I had health issues and was worried I'd end up in the hospital needing emergency surgery. I began fasting "just in case." When the doc wanted to do a procedure, I had already fasted nearly 60 hours so I was ready. Now I know I can do it and it isn't scary at all. It's empowering! Thank you so much for sharing your journey. It encourages me, and I know lots of other people are encouraged as well.
I started if after reading the fast five book. It was hard but after a couple days I knew I could lose weight but I didn’t know if I could stay on it. When I quit eating carbs it got easy and I can go for longer fasts.
love the comment, "if you disagree with something I say, do your own research and leave me alone, because this is what works for me'. Good tips here! Thanks for posting.
You look fantastic!! I have been intermittent fasting since Oct 2018. I have lost over 20 pounds but more importantly I was Type 2 diabetic and now my A1C is within normal range and my menopausal symptoms have gotten almost 100% better. I love this lifestyle and would not go back to eating myself to death. Congratulations on your success.
I’m so glad I came across your video. Everything you described is exactly what I’ve been doing. I started at 240 lbs and I’m down to 222. I’m excited to find support with my weight loss goals. I get so much negative feed back in spite of my 15 lbs loss, ( and still losing.) I look forward to watching the rest of your videos. You are an inspiration! Thank for your videos.
I'm into body building and I've been doing Alt Day Fasting for about 2 years while cutting without even know it had a name. I just started doing it naturally after modifying the Lean Gains program. What I do is about 20000-25000 steps on my fasting days. This allows me to actually have some eating. All my needed protein, and a small dinner. I probably don't go over 500 calories on my 'fast' days. The fat really comes off very fast and the diet is so easy to stick to. You have eating days... and what I call 'mission' days with a very clear goal. I never deprive myself since I know the next day I will just be able to enjoy that tasty food within reason. I eat chocolate, pizza, pretty much anything I want as long as it is within my needed calories on my eating day.
I am curious to know how you are eating 500 Calories on your "Fasting" Days and still think you are fasting. Can you please clarify for the readers who are already incredibly confused with so many different professional opinions. During your fasting window (No Calories) are to be consumed. During you "Eating Window" which you are no longer "Fasting" you should be eating the proper amount of calories. Depending on what type of lifestyle choice you have made. Balanced Meals - Keto - Vegetarian - etc. What ever you have chosen to consume still has a particular "First Meal" or "Break-Fast" Meal that should be consumed to re introduce food back into your system - for Digestive and Insulin Purposes. During you "Eating Window" at "Non Fasting" times or on "Non Fasting" Days (depending on the length of your fast) You should make sure your eating enough "Calories" so your not storing it because your body thinks its starving but also not, but also to maintain you Metabolism. If you eat to "Few" of Calories during your "Eating Window" you metabolism will slow and "Fasting" the healthy way goes right out the door.
i'm currently starting day 2 of 40 hour alternate day fasting, i'm determined to lose at least around 30 pounds so i can finally have the body confidence i've never had this summer. your results are inspiring, you look great!
@@briellejacobs1045 so i found that 40 hour alternate fasting wasn’t working for me, i did it for a couple weeks and drank my electrolytes but i still wasn’t feeling right throughout the day. now i do 20 hour fasts everyday! i have yet to weigh myself but my jeans are fitting me again so i’m sure i’ve dropped at least 10-15!
1:46 That's amazing, you can see how much happier and more confident you look in the after photos. People are really afraid of keto, I can't tell any one when I fast, and people regularly confuse keto-acidosis with being in ketosis. It worked miracles for me, I'm down 40 pounds, and the hardest thing was really just family members making awesome comfort foods for me and telling me I have an eating disorder lol. You really do stop feeling hungry and craving things, it's not a lie! Anyone who reads this, keep doing it! You'll feel strong and proud of yourself! Totally worth it. (Also food starts to taste way better!) Edit: I have a coffee with cream and no sugar in the morning, no noticeably bad effects to progress. Do what works for you right?
I have been wanting to fast, for fat loss and spiritual reasons. The fasting days would be especially good for shutting out the noise of the world and quieting myself enough to read ( actual books ) and hear God’s voice. Great video. Congrats on your consistent effort. You look healthy and happy.
I fast for spiritual reasons and now I have incorporated weight management/loss into it. I do believe if we put God first everything else will work out but we have to put forth effort to restore the temple we or for me, I destroyed. I wish you great success.
I couldn't agree more with your comment about "this is my journey", I almost don't want to tell people what my husband and I are doing (over 90lb lost between us). Dealing with the negative comments will sometimes cause us to pause and doubt ourselves. But we are making a real change for the first time ever. Keep up the good work and thank you for posting! ❤️ You have ignited my stalled progress! 👍👌
How has it gone? I discovered the same thing with people de railing your weight loss. after the thousandth attempt of losing weight i decided to not tell a soul what I was doing and just do it. I'm still in the very beginning stages of my weight loss..but I am noticing a different in focus already.
I'm admiring you! I'm 57 and started ADF 3 weeks ago. Looks this is the only regimen which calms my hormone swings and affects my menopause belly. Lost 10 pounds so far and need to lose 20 more . Using ADF I finally started seeing light at the end of the tunnel.
@@tabeamuller6467 Hello, congratulations on your wedding and of cause you can reach your weight goals. I can add details of my fight. My feeding window is actually not 12 but 8 hours and during that time I eat moderately low carb (about 60g carbs) . I'm trying to be reasonable without strict counting of calories . On fasting days I probably consume about 100-200 calories in the form of milk added to my coffee and lemonade made with stevia. What I like about this regimen it's psychologically easy. I continue cooking for my family without deprivation feelings because if I cannot eat something today, I always know - I can enjoy it tomorrow. Wish you success. Try and you'll see it's doable.
I watch a lot of keto channels and I love 'em, but I mostly watch them for info, recipes, etc. Your channel, however, I watch for 1 reason: Inspiration! You inspire me every time I watch. Thank you! I'm so glad I found your channel.
Ok Jess! I hear you loud and clear. I'm going to do AD IF 40:8. Day 1: I'm 12 hrs in. Let's go! Thank you for the inspiration. You look stronger and healthier with every posting and I want that too! Update: at the 22 hr had to stop due to health reasons but I’m going at it again tonight. 40:8 let’s go.
Subscribing to your channel right now! I have 120 lbs to lose so I'm really glad to see someone who's lost that kind of weight already. VERY inspirational.
Supposedly, taking in any protein/collagen while fasting slows down "autophagy" (apart from weight loss) because autophagy is triggered by the lack of protein. That may be useful info for people with chronic illnesses to heal. However, it does not completely stop autophagy of course. Meanwhile, whatever you are doing is working for you! Love the delivery, advice and energy! You look great already as well! Count me as a new subscriber! 👍
I just discovered you, and I absolutely love how honest and straight forward you are. It's like I listen to myself, lol. Thank you for your tips and congrats on your fitness goal!
lol, you hooked me when you mentioned Dr. Fung, and Thomas DeLauer. I've done a LOT of research on this, and they are my two go to sources of information as well.
I have been doing Omad on the alternating day schedule instead of a full day fast. I can’t believe how much less I need to eat at mealtime. This is only my second week of this. I am getting so close to 50 lbs down and I am hoping this helps to get me there soon! As always, thanks for the inspiration!
Finally worked up to EOD!! Love it! Losing 3-4 lbs a week of FAT!! Starting week 3 and feeling terrific! Thanks, Jess!! Finally dropping weight and see my goal weight as possible! 30 lbs to go!! :) can't wait to see how you do maintenance.
I've been keto going on 5yrs I'm 54 lost over 50lbs at 50.I use IF helps me maintain.I do have to switch it up or I'll gain or stall.Ill throw in OMAD also do a 48hr.I so love thus lifestyle.Thank you for sharing your journey.
I am excited to hear this. Congrats I will be 45 in October and lost 55lbs just due to eating once per day but carb heavy. Gained back 10lbs so now doing keto mainly due to pain from arthritis and hip bursitis. I lost 50lbs low carb in my 20s but gained about 100lbs at one point. I am also hypothyroidism so it's extra hard for my body to lose
You just became my inspiration. I’ve lost 30lbs last summer and stuck because I am not constant. I have another 40 to 60 to lose. So I have decided to get back on track on do this right.
I have been keto for almost 5 years and currently do 2 meals a day. I usually go anywhere from 16:8 to 20:4 daily. My hubby and I used to do 60 hour fasts every month for about a year. We dropped that, but just did one for this year... I'm actually at 61 hours listening to this. I haven't seen you in a while, and you popped up this morning! Lol! I don't care how long anyone has done this (and I did it before, years ago, for health reasons, not weight loss), it is great to listen to others and get encouraged. You are great! 😊
I agree that we think of food constantly and therefore , we eat all day, or snack all day. So people do this! I was one of those people. Food was always on my mind. I started yesterday just having my 3 meals and no snacking. I didn't think of food as much. I just let my stomach growl. What's that strange sound? Anyway, I am Type II Diabetic, and I watch the channel "Beat Diabetes". When I go low-carb every day, my fasting insulin is in the 70's and 80's. Sometimes, it dips too low, and I have to eat something. I'm on insulin and I have to be careful. My goal is to lose 100 lbs. and get OFF insulin. I cannot go without eating, because I'm constantly having to adjust my insulin dosage, but I can do intermittent fasting and eat within an 8 hour period. Keep up the good work!!! I love your channel and I think it won't be too long until you reach your goal weight. Just keep plugging away!
I watch you a long time go when you started. I am so proud of you. I have gained 20 pounds 😔. So came across this video looking at IF. I’ve been doing 18/6 tonight starting 20/4. Soon I’ll be doing ADF. 😍. Thank you!
Congratulations! You’re so inspiring and I applaud you for getting to where you are and sharing this valuable information!! I’m in my journey with IF and alternate fasting..I’m in my 50’s and am learning to fast with my new menopausal body. I’m inspired by women like you! Thank you..I’ll be following you 💖👏👏☀️☀️
The 1st video I watched was with you and your mom. I was hooked after that because I felt like I could relate to your mom because of her age. I am 55 and need to lose some weight but didn't know how. After seeing her before photos and how amazing she looks now, inspired me. Just the way you spoke to each other about your weight loss journey, made me feel at last that I can do it too so I'm following you now and I'm starting with my IF and alternate fasting tomorrow. Thank you for being you and so open and honest.
This is the only way to live, if you want to loose weight and get to your target weight. I started 16/8 fast/keto, lost 60lbs. I got another 60lbs to go and will do omad/keto/ADF. Cheers and lets get back our healthy years!
I've been researching ways to lose weight for a few months and this breakdown of fasting made so much more sense than anything ive ever seen. 😳 thank you so much
OMG.... I just did my first ADF day today and the lemon, asc, salt water is a MUST!!!! I sipped on it all afternoon and it made me feel amazing and made it not so hard to get through the day not eating. Thank you for the suggestion 😊
I don't know if you need to hear this- but you're such a sweetheart! You come across so genuine and personable. Keep up the good work and you do you, don't bother with internet trolls-
"Shenanigans" ...." balls to the wall" OMG you're my new BFF in my mind! I love your progress and I will keep watching your videos for inspiration on my own keto Journey...I need to lower my A1C!
Girl you’re amazing and you’re inspiring. And yes that➡️ “do your own research & leave me alone” 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾. Love it! I love the way you think and 100 percent agree with everything you said. I just recently jumped back on my keto and have been doing 16-8 on a regular and occasionally 18 or 20 hrs i’m having some results but not what I’m looking for. It is harder for me being menopausal. One of the doctors I follow also suggested a more aggressive fasting especially for menopausal women. I don’t think I’ll have a problem with the schedule you’re on I’m going to give it a try. Wish me luck and keep being bad ass!
I’ve been doing one meal a day for the past two weeks... It’s been amazing. I’m so excited that I’m burning my fat stores! Thank you for sharing your story! Good luck with your weight loss! Your skin looks amazing! -Lindsay
Thanks so much for this encouragement. I started keto/IF on Halloween but was eating way too much fat...I still lost 20 but I finally listened to your Macro Class and started tracking in Feb 2020. and have been going slow and steady. Down 32 (into the 100’s now) but I’ve stalled on the scale but I’m still shrinking inches! Trying to refine what I’m doing, stop eating too much fat but concentrating on clean fasting, less stevia etc and listening to hungry/full more. I’ll try the alternate day to shake things up and see if I can get the scale to move again! So discouraging when I see everyone lose so much, so fast and I’m only down 32 in 5 months or so. 😞 However, never cheated and no desire to. I’m feeling too good!❤️
Great video👍🏾 My mother introduced me to your channel. She loves you!❤️ You have motivated us to get healthy together and loose weight. God bless you and your family. Thank you for sharing your journey.
Ok very simple i found your channel three months ago..bottom line YOU saved my life. period . I now do ADF and I have lost so much Fat and change my whole mindset. Thank you
I love this video and it was right on qui! I decided today that I would try to alternate day fast. I did some research about it and I had started intermittent fasting in January. I enjoy your video and I was not feeling well so I ate around 4:00. But I’m good now so I’ll work my way up. Thanks Jess! Forget the haters they haven’t figured out the key to happiness yet.
Thank you for mentioning - “all or nothing” and the “noise” over the last few videos. I completely know what you are talking about and know one else understands it! Thank you!
Sorry I goofed up there so hi Jess my name is Chris and I’m 64. I wouldn’t normally connect with someone your age however with your congenital heart defect and my health issues, all I can do is walk just like you! I like your tricks about push-ups against the wall and the lifts on a chair and so many more of your tips. I think you are absolutely amazing and I am down from 211 pounds to 187 pounds in three months. I am just starting to do an every other day fast and looking forward to some quicker fat loss. I really get a kick out of your mom and you’ve got really sweet children! Thank you for being you and always telling your audience to “be them” and “do them!”
I love listening to your video. I started keto three years ago and intermittent fasting I added a little bit later. I lost 80 lb in a year and a half. Unfortunately this past year and a half has been so hard on me that I've gained every bit of it back. So today marks my first day of starting all over again.
Love your honest sharing... We are human, I agree, some flexibility would certainly help! I have been trying to do intermittent fasting, and from there progress to alternate day fasting... Watching your video just now has been a positive experience and encouragement for me. Thank you...
You don’t need to apologize ! You are guiding us down a very healthy path and many of us are very grateful for this! It is beautiful that you are able to work, take care of your family, spend quality time with your husband and still taking care of yourself to reach your goals. Million thanks for sharing your journey with us.
I love your videos and look forward to them each week. Your determination inspires me and others I'm sure. Your sweetness and smile combined with honesty makes you the best youtuber ever.Keep up the good work.
I loved you video! You look great! I have been eating Keto for 7 years ever since my husband's A1C came up at 7.0. We reversed his diabetes in 3 months with low carb/high fat diet and exercise! But over the years I got lazy and wasn't very careful with what we ate and his A1C was climbing again and I was gaining some weight. So we hired a Keto Coach for the month of March and we have both lost over 10 lbs in less than a month! We started tracking all our calories (never have done that before) and our macros too. But the biggest thing she had us do was IF! It rocked our world! In the past I used to read how people weren't hungry on Keto and I was so jealous! I was starving all the time! So I asked my Keto Coach why! She said, "I suspect you are either thirsty or need electrolye or both". I haven't gone a day since without electolyte since then and I found out that drinking lots of water chased away all my hunger! I found out that our brains register hunger and thirst the same way...growling! Wow! That was a game changer for me!
Hi Jess! Wow, I'm so saddened that people give you such a hard time, and won't just accept that what works for you... Works for you! :-) well I for one love hearing about your journey, I think you're doing a fabulous job and you look wonderful! Keep it up, Love you all, stay safe and healthy!!😊
the other big benefit of keto + fasting is you don't end up with loose skin. You've had significant weight loss, and many would end up with the deflated saggy skin, which you were able avoid :-) fantastic job, and I love your enthusiasm
I’m water fasting right now. I will finish tomorrow morning after doing 84 hours. I needed to heal my gut after messing up my diet. I will then be eating a clean keto lifestyle. Thank you for your inspiration.
Drs Jung and Cywes and ThomasD are great people to listen to. And I totally agree with the fasting helps lose weight faster. It works for me. I think a lot of people lack the self control to do it.
Thank you!! I was doing so good with ADF until this crazy world went upside down! All the weight I had lost and the habots I had gotten into.. down the train! I came on RU-vid looking for a good video to get me motivated! THANK YOU!!!!! Subscribing now to your channel!!
Hi Jess, I watched few of your essential (to me) videos the past months. I am struggling with my weight, went up from 170 lbs to 210 lbs in a short amount of time. One thing we all need to learn is to accept ourselves. (Not the fact of being overweight) The "New Me" also needs to be accepted, and the new way of dieting is also part of self acceptance. You are doing a wonderful job! I am doing ADF too, I got some new fresh energy seeds from you. Thank you! You look fantastic!
"...if you don't like it do your own research and leave me alone..." I laughed so hard... people need to stay in their lane! Thank you for continuing to make these videos durning this time! I am very happy for you and 15 pounds to your goal is AMAZING!!! Keep at it !!!
Wow! Way to go. I'm amazed u can sit at the dinner table like that. Fantastic. I get so triggered, just walking into the kitchen! U look fantastic. It's YOUR journey, but, I must say you're doing it right .Love Dr Fung and T. DeLauer. Yes, u can change the rules, like u said about adding something to your coffee. I had to start IF at only 13 hrs a day, cuz it's all I could do. Now my typical day is an 18 hour fast. I love your flexible mindset. I did IF for a year, fell off, gained 3 lbs.....looks like a huge difference! I'm now on the fast mimicking diet/day 3. I haven't been hungry at all. It's helping me get back into the swing of things. So happy to be back!
I'm on my second day of intermitted fasting. Just did my second 16 hours. I really need to lose weight. Ive ben 150kg for quiet some time now(And overweight since childhood). I do 16:8 My goal is 95kg.

@@alansalgado2740 Actually really good. I feel really great. Im doing it for like 1 month and 2 weeks-ish now. According to my boyfriend i have less weight around my butt. I mostly focussed on eating. I try to eat as clean as possible. I feel im satiated much faster and longer. I eat less. I snack less. Actually it seems my nailbiting is less too. Im not worried about eating much ( The hangry thing). The only problem i had was around my period, which was a week ago. I allowed myself into the craving for 1 chocolate bar. But after 3 bites I felt sick to my stomach. I was hungry alot, and a bit headachy and such. True pms-y woman. I drank alot of water, and ate a bit more (tried to eat more fruits/nuts/salad) I realised It's oke to be hungry sometimes, and if I eaten enough, there was no need for me to crave more. I eat an occasional (like... once per 1-2 weeks?) SCOOP (which is enough!) ice cream (I LOVE ice cream) and thats it on snacking. Other than that; I drink mint tea alot (Gunpowder tea and mint seem to satisfy my 'sweet' craving) , water, no more sugar or anything in my coffee, which, for some reason, i also really cutted down on (and i was addicted!). I dont weigh in, and I measure only by how I'm feeling. And I'm feeling great! I actually do more like a 19/5-20/4 right now. I barely eat 2 meals. The first meal is always something with eggs or fish /salad or fruits/veg and chicken. Stuff like that. The second meal is whatever we (me and my boyfriend) feel like. I even eat a hamburger (But home made, ofcourse) rice and such, but I add a generous amount of veggies, and littler amount of rice (potato, pasta... ) if we eat it. I cutted down on bread too. I only eat it occasionally now, as a 'treat' so to say. And then I eat the best bread I can find (The ones you can bake off in the oven at home without preservations and all that) I feel great. I plan on keeping this as my schedule. I just feel really good. And I think I lost weight. Well i'm pretty sure to be honest, since my belly is less and my clothes fit looser. For the first time in 2 years,!! went to the forest. I actually walked 4km yesterday. I wanted to do the 'normal-old' 2.7km ish route, but instead me and my dog went exploring and went way off the beaten path. I planned on going tomorrow again, but its going to get stormy. I want to keep doing this atleast 3 times a week. (Im an artist and I primarily sit on my ass, especially the last few years, but i was very active until my 25th ish, when my ankle got rekt. Before that I worked with horses, I ran, did yoga, and alot of swimming.) My face got thinner too. I have a bit more energy... I feel like I make more wholesome and deliberate food choices. Oh and I found out certain foods make me really bloated. Like any form of potato stuff.
The chart in the thumbnail prompted me to watch. I currently have a similar weight / height and am doing the whole ACV, intermittent fasting, exercise business and it can be frustrating. When I saw what you looked like I was like wow! You look great and even though I am not at my goal weight I must not look too bad ;-) Picked up some good motivation and a tip or two also :-)
Kudos to your discipline & determination 👏🏾 I am also a testament because I knew that the only working option is fasting ; exercise & low carb regimen . Remember this ought to be a lifestyle adjustment not a fad diet because a fad diet is proven to be useless as a long term solution
