Good experience ,cleaning off all the coating from plates with sandpaper will increase surface area and increase conductivity. Useing items easily available makes your video much more useful. When we really need to build our own battery we will not be able to buy exotic materials. Keep up the good work.

Iron Tin sheets have anti corrosive coatings and plus printing... That's why you don't get a good voltage... Better scratch out those coatings to get better voltage...

Friend have you ever made or used a VERY VERY dangerous type capacitor battery charger This very dangerous could kill you battery charger could be made in a safe way! It is not dangerous if not powered up with out battery in circuit The lead acid "MAYBE OTHER TYPES TO" battery acts as a resistor in the circuit and keeps the voltage form raising to dangerous high voltage There are so many other types of battery chargers that are not deadly Thing is this dangerous type dose things no other type dose I have used this type myself with great results! It is very simple very few and cheap parts no step down transformer is needed Reg line voltage from outlet with a run type capacitor NOT ACROSS the two legs of power but in series circuit on only one leg After the capacitor it goes into a full bridge rectifier After the full bridge rectifier into the lead acid battery The battery acts like a resistor in the circuit It "the battery"keeps the voltage from being VERY high voltage dc that will kill This is a VERY dangerous circuit to build if left laying around some one not understanding the danger could be killed! The lager the the run capacitors capacitance the higher the amps it will charge the battery My wall outlets here in Wv usa are 120 volts ac For every 25 uf of capacitance of the capacitor it will charge at one amp So i think but you would have to test to make sure 25uf with wall outlet being 230 volt ac would charge at 2 amps Again I warn you my friend this type of charger could kill some one so great care MUST be taken that no one plugs it in by mistake Also that the battery is hooked up before plugging charger in All children and pets must not get around this type of battery charger It must be unpluged from out let for a few minutes before unhooking battery If the battery is not in circuit the dc voltage could be over 3 or 400 volts This VERY dangerous battery charger will restore badly sulfated batteries But you may also find that hydrogen can be produced for a way lower wattage cost with little change in this circuit Notice the way a battery has many cells in series I think certain grade s/s tubes closely fitting inside each other close capacitance may be a rewarding study No salts of any kind pure water and a dangerous battery charger circuit If dc output dose not rise high enough try smaller capacitance run capacitor Use a step up transformer before the run capacitor if your pulsed dc voltage out put of this type battery charger is not high enough But do NOT do this and die if you don't already have all safety training needed to experiment with high voltage Have a blessed day my friend from some where far away I truly hope you know the one and only creator of all things created!
