Hecatoncheires (Level 58 for Critical Zealot & Phys Pleroma) + Loup-Garou = Narcissus
Yakshini (Resist Dark, Level 32) + Melchizedek (Impaler's Animus, Level 63) = Sarasvati
Sarasvati + Kodama = Hariti
Hariti + Power = Silky
Narcissus + Silky = Yoshitsune (Impaler's Animus, Critical Zealot, Phys Pleroma, Resist Dark)
High Phys Pleroma comes from the Asura or Chi You Essence.
Fusion Calc with Skill Descriptions: aqiu384.github...
Completely optional: To get high stats on Yoshitsune at fusion, make sure you have the Warrior's Conception and Prayer Miracles. Then level up his fusion components (Narcissus and Silky in this case) to 20 levels up above their base level (this is obviously much easier with the Mitama DLC). Doing this will result in Yoshitsune getting greatly increased stats when fusing.

Vengeance Note: It seems this fusion path doesn't work exactly in SMTVV, as Hecatoncheires and Loup-Garou make Gogmagog now. You can still use the Essence list in the description to see how to get the skills via those.

- I've seen a couple people ask where I got High Restore, it just happened to already be on Narcissus when I was doing the fusion. It can be found on the Loki, Queen Mebh, Barong or Mot Essence - If you'd rather add skills via Essences, there's an Essence list in the description

This is what I had as well, used this until my late 80´s then I switched him out for metatron against the last boss. but yeah he is a killer!

For viewers coming from SMT V Vengeance. You can fuse Loup Garou + Hecatoncheires to get Gogmagog. Then you can fuse Gogmagog with Flaemis(18) to get Narcissus.

fusing his as soon as I could was one of the smartest things I've done. Along with Idun and another strong aoe magician like Dark Frost, Anubis or Qing long, and the Nahobino spamming all mighty moves nothing can harm you.

Suggest grinding the demons you use to fuse him first, the stat bonuses will make a huge difference if you don't wanna waste stat-related items on him

I fused Yoshi twice...the first is when the main char is stil very low leveled and then again after the level is above 80 and collected tons of miracles (imprtant: those bonuses on demons level ups)...and then dumped plenty of battle sutras and phys incenses on the second Yosi plus leveling him up so that he can stay on my main team Main Char, Shiva, Metatron and Yoshi. Always crit skill is awesome!

Imo he's worth investing incenses in because he makes great and cheap fodder for demons needed in a lot of special fusions.

Update: not only do I now have him but I am also only missing high phys plemora to replicate it and managed to get null block on it(throne essence). I personally recommend that you use him for the sheer damage and free press turns.

As someone who mainly plays persona 5(considering getting smt 5 on switch), I have a feeling that this is second to izanagi no okami in p5r because of guarantee crits and if I had to guess, crit zealot boosts the damage of crits.

Idk what the devs were thinking by making hassou tobi a guaranteed crit and also introducing in the same game a skill that charges you AND makes your attacks pierce at the same time for an extremely low cost. One of the few things that kept this dude at bay in other games was phys repel but in smtv you can just impalers animus and watch your enemies squirm in pain. I think his only weakness in this interation is that he has no baked in resistances and optimizing him takes 5-6 slots and I love having hellish mask on hin since ailments is the only thing that can foil your impaler combo

I kept all of my incense items until the super boss(Not dlc) and remade Yohshitsune after hitting lvl 99, my man had 155 str and 180 agility. Used that buff that ignores resistances and delt like 450 crit for 8 hits each, him Idun and Metatron did some work on the true ending boss which took me a while with the grimores I saved along the way.

What was his STR and AGL prior to using the Incenses if you don't mind me asking? I got him to 122 STR and 113 AGL at 99 but I don't have any incenses in him yet, I take it you used quite a few in him?

This is my exact setup except I have null dark in place of resist dark and resist phys (gonna switch with null phys later) in place of enduring soul. I may switch back to enduring soul if I have trouble keeping him alive though.

I did the same build, except I replaced high restore and enduring soul with akashic arts and abyssal mask, and I used charge instead of impaler's animus. Akashic Arts is the strongest omagatoki critical skill. Hassou Tobi is only the best without omagatoki critical. Plus I figured if a demon was strong against yoshitsune or if he's out of commission just use another great demon, like amon, zeus, beelzebub, metatron, etc.

I've already leveled my Yoshi to 70, do you recommend that I still get the important skills by fusing or just inherit them from essence?

Getting the skills from Essences is probably easier. If you re-fused, and levelled up the component parts a lot (Narcissus and Silky here), you could get bonus stats at fusion, but again you don’t need super high stats to beat the game. So do whatever is most convenient

Way too easy to summon when you are the right level. I am currently level 24 myself but the fact that I am able to obtain the crit machine as soon as I hit level 45 is crazy.

So I’ve played a lot of the smt games and persona games so I’m very familiar with this but I’ve gotten some huge stat boosts when fusing demons other demons but here following the route for your build my yoshitsune is barely getting any extra points to his stats unlike yours in the video was curious if you could let me know why that is perhaps I need a miracle skill for more increased stats upon fusion I’m not sure any help is appreciated thank you

He’s only op in persona 4. In persona 5 he’s great but outclassed. In SMT V he’s just decent, even on a single target he’s not doing much better than his competition but on group fights he’s worthless.

How is each hit doing 3k damage at 0:15? I have the same build with better stats and higher level, fighting the same enemy and same buffs/debuffs, yet I'm only doing about 1.8k iirc.

Critical Zealot increases your crit dmg by 33%, but reduces normal damage by 10%. Since Hassou Tobi always crits, it's a guaranteed 33% increase in damage

High Restore is nice if you're hitting weaknesses/crits every turn, you get 20 MP back, but it's not absolutely needed

I'm on the lowest difficulty, against Zeus. And idk if it's because of the difficulty, but i do no damage at all against him with this build. Or maybe it's because he is too low leveled compared to Zeus. Since i haven't leveled hin up yet

SMT V has big level scaling. The difference between being -10 levels, on the same level and +5 levels is huge. Level him up with Grimoires and he'll hit hard

They are both 1.8x and do not stack.

It gives a 1.8x multiplier and adds a Pierce effect to your next move. Charge is also 1.8x (it's nerfed in this game)

@@Danewd98sChannelgaming Yes, so that it can bypass enemies that resist/null/drain/repel phys. Essentially its the same as a STR based Protag except since Murakumo innately "pierces" due to being almighty, critical aura is used for the guaranteed crit. In terms of turn efficiency, a good physical demon should have both pierce and critical.

I would replace the lesser pleroma with murderous glee and then replace Animus and Zealot with Hell Thrust and Great Mana Spring. Maybe even upgrade resist dark to either null or drain dark. Support skills are wastes of turns. Attack attack attack.

Why would you use Murderous Glee when Hassou Tobi always crits, and can always make use of Critical Zealot, which is bonus damage. Try beating Shiva/Demi-Fiend on Hard without a support skill and see how it goes. Hassou Tobi is 30 base damage x 8 = 240. It always crits, so it's base power is 360 (240 * 1.5). If you spend a turn using Impaler's Animus and attack next, you'll do 648 damage (360 * 1.8). Hell Thrust is 235 damage with Pierce. If you use it twice in a row, you'll do 470 damage. So you're literally doing less total damage by just attacking. If you think support skills are waste, you're likely only doing story fights on a lower difficulty.
