Amazing Electric Dirt Bike!! | Talaria Sting Review 

Same bike vaginally just the new talaria R has alot of upgrades already on the bike. Bigger brake rotors, better suspension, better motor, better 8kw controller, bigger 45ah battery, peg spacer bar, bigger better wires. Few other goodies but still essentially the same bike most people end up upgrading everything anyways.

@@MotoAlias Dude I see your comments all over the place lol. The late 2022 sting had all the upgrades as the R except the IPM motor and larger disk brakes. This guy somehow bought the 1st generation MX3. It's gonna be funny as hell when the MX4 guys figure out Surron's LBX and MX3's make more torque when equal watts are applied. The MX4 has a trail bike's motor

@@shockadellick the late 22 didn't have larger wires to deliver more power, didn't have the larger breaker, didn't have the upgraded 8kw controller, didn't have the 45ah battery, the brakes and motor aren't the only improvements. Ay equal power levels the stock motors from surron and mx3 do perform better but the ko can go higher than 15kw and the other motors can't. The new talaria ipm motor we know for a fact is more efficient. I don't think people have tested a mx3 motor running 8kw vs the new ipm motor running the same 8kw to see if there's much of a difference if there is it's negligible at best. We do know the ipm motor at 8kw smokes the original mx3 at 6kw. Your just trying to make yourself feel better for owning an mx3. The mx4 is better in every way possible. And yes I know this dude has a mx3. And the mx4 isn't a trail bikes motor it's just a better more efficient motor that can run more power than the previous design without failure or broken magnets.

@@shockadellick if you think they bumped the bike upto 8kw because the new motor doesn't perform as well you truly are stupid. People were buying controllers and bypassing the mx3 battery to run 8kw. It made perfect sense for talaria to upgrade the bike on their own and run 8kw put of their bike since the battery allows for it granted they even added a extra parallel cell group so it can handle the 8kw easier but it's pretty obvious they just made a more powerful bike because that's what people want and their battery is capable. Really tho stop commenting when you see me. It's wasting my time and effort trying to explain this to an idiot time and time again.

​@@shockadellick That's not surprising since it has a gearbox, and even the MX3 wasn't as punchy as the Surron. It's also not surprising because they knew people would push 12+ KW into them, so they used the IPM design, which differs from PMSM in many regards, resulting in lower torque but better cooling (for the size). This is also the approach KO took so perhaps it's a replica without the expensive CNC machining/design looks. Not everything is as simple as you put it but every change will perhaps improve something at the expense of making something else worse. The debate here isn't about motors though, no ones forcing anyone to buy a Talaria. For 7k you can have a 72v Surron which is far better than either in my opinion... it is after all the bike that started all of this

​​@@shockadellick lol this dudes just upset he bought the mx3 and then a year later they came out woth the mx4 with a far superior motor. He's really butt hurt about that motor I see his stupid comment everywhere. But nowhere has his comment been proven that the spm makes more torque than the ipm. The ipm is 5% more efficient that tells me it performs better that's factual numbers on paper dude not some youtube guys comments when he's clearly upset he has the older version of the bike. Even if it did put out a small bit more torque it can't go above 15kw without destruction and the ipm motor can so your torque advantage goes out the window at that point. Not to mention the mx3 spm motor is noisy and has rolling resistance and the ipm motor does not. It's a far better motor and bike in everyway than the surron. Think about it stock for stock it's worlds better that means you no longer have to change your motor to ko or your brakes to 220mm or your suspension everything comes better than a stock surron by far. Hell stock it puts out 8kw that's more than a ypassed surron woth an aftermarket controller even. It's just better in every way this dudes mad he didn't get the new bike but dude it doesn't matter soon as you get the new bike their will be a newer and better one this shits like iPhone. Just be happy woth what you got and upgrade accordingly. I have the mx3 also and I got the shitty rst Killah forks but I didn't have to wait a year yo ride like these guys I've been enjoying my bike this whole time. It's just upgrades when talaria comes out with an ultra bee then it's time to sell the sting.

@@shockadellick I know you lie my buddy was running 23kw through his mx4 ipm motor you simply cannot do that woth an mx3 motor you lose period. And you already said that bullshit lie about the last 22 stings being the same as the sting R other than the motor is what you said last time this time you said motor and controller. Then why can I name all these other upgrades that weren't on the 22 last batch like larger gayge wire to deliver more power, a bigger breaker, 220mm brake rotors, a better gearbox bracket, peg spacer bar stock even tho it's a shit one. All that shit matters it's a far superior bike and the motors far superior. Stop giving people wrong information cuz your butthurt about owning a mx3 just upgrade your shit and be done with it. Which one performs better at 6kw doesn't matter cuz the R runs on 8kw it's just better period. And no matter how high you tunr up your motor you just can't turn it up high enough to keep up woth an ipm motor end of story.

That's not gonna help these are spring forks. Some people put a stiffer spring in them but rst Killah are trash they don't even come stock on this bike anymore idk how he got this old version of the bike this was the first version released and suspension is trash. If you buy the bike now it's not 6kw anymore its 8kw now and much better suspension and brakes amd motor literally everything is better on the current bike

@@YoungWise2011 most people loop there bike at least once. Usually letting someone else ride it or forgetting the throttle is live

His bike has rst Killah forks which was the first talaria released and the absolute worst suspension you can get. Next worst but much better is the dnm forks. Neither of which they use on the talaria anymore they're both considered trash for these heavier ebikes. They now use fastace or takaria factory forks much more robust dirtbike style forks. So no this isn't an R

@@shockadellick I didn't forget to mention anything I didn't mention that because that's not true no where has that been tested and proven or even suggested by anyone other than you. It's known that at equal power levels the surron or mx3 motor is faster than the ko. But you can't say the same thing about the mx4 motor. You just sound stupid I go into more detail on my response on your other comment.

It will be much more likely to wheelie yes that's kind of the point tho. Or trail riding you want that torque as well
