How and where did you find/train with him? I was trying to go to china this year for shaolin kung fu training but china's strict covid policies made it impossible to get a visa to stay there
I recorded that video in 2013 in shandong. The school name is song jian wushu yuan. The funny thing is that we were training at the place and then he walked in with a beer in his hand and our teacher stops everything to introduce him, he was the head coach of the traditional weapons and he actually is using the rope dart of one of my friends here in México, he does it whitout warm up. It was really awesome.
iv been practicing for a few months now and i have so much respect for this man.the speed and hand eye coordination and spacial awareness is top notch.
@@jasenko91 so at the beginning of the video when he is walking normal and he messes up that’s fast? The bottom two corners were shaking as well. Plus look at the two in the back. The camera man is just shaky stop hating. There’s always one. The man knows his craft and he’s been practicing hater. I hate people that always try to find a flaw In something because they can’t believe what they see because they can’t do it.
Great. Well done in the spirit of real rope dart martial artist. What I like about his techniques are the velocity and thrust of the dart when he shoots it. I noticed many rope dart practitioners have good wraps but they shoot the dart out like a wet noodle. After all this is a weapon.
I have always loved rope darts and the whole concept of somehow tying yourself up only to have it all unravel in an amazingly terrifying thrust turning tons of rotation into essentially an arrow. To say I want to be able to move like hung ke is... an understatement
He has all my respect. I pray to achieve this level of skill in anything I do nonetheless my rope darting. The dedication this must’ve taken him 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
When looking at the movement, the key point seems to be that the blade flies in the desired direction at a strong and fast speed without knowing where or when to attack.
Nicely done! Oddly enough, not only was rope dart a personal weapon, it was also one of the first forms of crowd control. Just a tiny bit of history for Kung Fu enthusiasts. Y'all have a great day!
It's enough to showcase the mastery. Well done all round from your heavenly brother Son of God Christ the King Divine and Majestic the grail, zeal and soul of Jesus in the flesh Charles Andrew Oyedele Ososami Lord of the Apocalypse on the 21st of September Holy Apocalypse day 1381 in the Revelation of God. Cheers with love@@essentialbagua and all. Peace
anyone wanna try closing the gap on him? I don't even think Tyson would be able to, even with the champ's speed. the only possible window would be when he sends the dart out or while he's turning.
@@deedeemao6809 You have 4 comments and 3 of them are insulting already impressive feats with rope darts, I haven't seen anything to indicate you have any experience
great question. As far as I know they didn't wear armor to counter the return of the dart. Often catching the dart on the side (i.e. not the pointy end) with the hand is a way to grab the dart if it goes off course.
