First off don’t assume that everyone who enjoyed a show is a “Reddit bot” and a “groomer” that’s offensive. 1) I explained in a comment that the fall of a nation or group is a process that typically takes years and explained why the fall doesn’t immediately equal the nuke also a lot of non NCR characters in NV will mention how the NCR is “spread thin” and “barely hanging on”, 2) if the show was “woke” one of the main characters would be black or gay and they would make it push their “agenda” repeatedly throughout the show, not one trans person who is mentioned to be trans once through the use of a pronoun who only appears in like 3 episodes, you make it sound like any show that has a black female character is pushing an agenda, the show has “woke” character by your definition but it barely affects the atmosphere or watching experience, 3) I personally never stated it was wrong to have a bad opinion on something, only that the opinion should at least make sense and not come off as immediately nitpicky, I did watch your 15+ minute long video, you start with what I believe is a fallout 3 clip where you eat somebodies arm with the canabalism trait and the rest of the video is you playing a dragon ball game where you fly around blowing stuff up while you make the aforementioned gripes. The enclave are in different locations across the United States. The Oil Rig from 2 and Raven Rock from 3 being two of them (now destroyed). "The Fall of Shady Sands" covers the NCRs decline (as seen in NV). The actual destruction of shady sands has no date, but it would have to be after 2277 and when Maximus was around 7 or 8. So, Shady Sands is still a location during the events of Fallout NV.

From everything I've heard 2nd hand makes me extremely angry for them giving Fallout the modern ESG Disney treatment. I never intended to watch the show, but it still irritates they nuked the lore. I absolutely loved Fallout and its lore. Even FO3 with all its faults, as it was my first introduction to series. I start to lose intrest with FO4, and flat out refused FO76 with everything surrounding it. Now Fallout is next to Star Wars in my head. Two franchises I loved more than any other, gone forever.

Another thing, by 2281 when NV takes place the Brotherhood has been gutted by the NCR. The remnants are stuck in Hidden Valley after getting curbstomped by the NCR at Helios 1. Even if this is a different branch from the OG BoS from 2, there's no way that they're still recruiting in large numbers or have air assets that close to the NCR.

I saw the coming attractions and absolutely refuse to watch it, same thing with Borderlands. There's only one thing that represents Fallout and that's Fallout New Vegas. A Fallout New Vegas Remaster is the only other thing I will buy that's ever related to Fallout, and that's assuming nothing is changed.

The nukes in the Fallout universe are, I think, supposed to be about the same as the ones we dropped on Japan, the most primitive and weak versions. It's the same in the games; you can find craters where nukes hit and they aren't very big.

Finally, someone said it. This show is decent for an Amazon production, which is not a great achievement considering how unwatchable their productions are, but this show shits hard on the videogame's overall tone, in order to be considered good. Originally, fallout games had oppressive atmosphere; they were not a bloody funfair(despite the gameplay allows it to be in the lategame) and the humor is there to lighten up the mood. Granted, the humor does lighten up the mood a little too much in Fallout 2, but its nothing like this. Fallout TV show's humor is looney tooney, and most of the times feels more like Borderland writing, than actual Fallout. Is that what modern fallout has turned into? I have only played f1,f2m, f3 and NV and the humor in those games is more weighted and clever. Also, the show's lore inconsistencies are inexcusable. Finally, for those who say that "the show's humor is light hearted in order for the show to be accessible to everyone": No. Fallout TV show has way too much of gore, sex and crude humor in order to be accessible to everyone. Its a 6-7/10 show for me, not unwatchable like halo, but not the masterpiece everyone says so. I guess, shills are gonna shill, and npcs are gonna npc. And of course, none of them will actually bother to play Fallout 1, which is one of the best videogames in existence

Youre definitely right, the show is made for GA who passively know about Fallout. Ive seen alot of people bend over backwards to explain the lore inconsistencies (of which there are many). This show is canon like Disney SW is canon, it makes no sense in terms of the history of the series, but the companies say its canon because they dont care about consistency.
So Amazon should make a live action show that cost 100’s of millions of dollars for a niche group of people who park take in the extreme about of lore you sound unreasonable

Yeah, just like infiltration operations in real life, the NRC remnants, because that is what the riders are, would choose the people better suited to fool the inhabitants of vault 31, which would include a "fiance" who would be handsome and healthy looking enough to fool 31 vault inhabitants. And all them being NCR remnants it would mean that they would be in an overall better shape and health status than some random raiders born on the wasteland.

The look and feel of the show is very similar to Fallout 4, they got that right. But i hate the story. It destroys Fallouts 1 ,2 and New Vegas. And Bethesda's insistence in the wasteland being permanently destroyed without civilization being rebuilt, like FNV, pisses me off.
There is a point in the show where Lucy openly wonders what the point of her vault was considering civilization was already built on the surface. It is impossible to miss this. You didn't watch it.

In short, the wasteland is a permanent wreck with no other purpose other than to be a playground for the player. Meanwhile compare this to FNV, where the Legion and the NCR are so big, powerful and well developed that they can spare resources to fight over Hoover Dam. Even Mr House has created a city state in the strip. Its a game about what hapens after the post apocalipse, about how civilization is rebuilt and what kind. Two very diferent aproaches to Fallout.
If civilization rebuilds itself and stays rebuilt how would they make another sequel game. It’d sorta ruin the whole tagline of the game being “war, war never changes” if the war started changin

@@justlivin2499 Ghouls don't need food to live, but to do work they do need food. Low resource times Ghouls go into hybernation, living just off the Rads, (Feral ghouls are literally hybernating till you wake them) However long periods without food can speed up feralization.
