I was losing to a Cera as an Allo today and was trying to turn on him, which obviously is dumb. Thanks for this video, now I know how to fight them. :D
Hey Sticky I love your content! Especially how thoroughly you review after a fight what you did right/wrong but also what your opponent(s) did right/wrong. Very educational! One thing though: the loud spam calling through your talking is sometimes pretty annoying. Maybe you can turn down ingame volume for your recording software or turn up your mic relative to it. Anyway keep em coming! Especially the allo vids, coming from a fellow allo player ;) Smaller dinos taking on bigger ones would be really interesting too, like dilo vs allo for example.
Can we see more Theri vids? I was watching wintersaur's 'theri damage', and while they're glass cannons the theri (in the right hands making t he most of t heir mobility) can absolutely wreck apexes with their attack (esp the running double swing) because they're bugged/glitched to hit multiple times with each swing. I really wanna see more anky vids, but i understand that they're so very low-tier since they lost leg break and not desirable to play.
Theris are a LOT of fun to play, but unfortunately very few people ever wanna fight Theris, and I can't just randomly attack people as a herbivore on our server :/
@Jerrard McMillan Well, his videos talk about a damage multiplier, but it has more to do with the weight of the attacking dinosaur vs. the weight of the defending dinosaur. When he talks about the swings, he says that the damage output of the swings are inconsistent, not always hitting the same number of times. I just assumed that meant it was buggy or glitched... maybe it's just a hit box issue, though.
I main cera on hunting grounds. Never do what these 2 done. 1st cera needs to keep distance only engage the allo when he has no ambush your advantages are sprint speed and agility. Cera once bleeding will also take double damage when running so best way to beat a allo is to sneak up and ambush it end the fight asap with your bite damage and bite speed. You will probably get hit due to piss poor hitbox of the allo the tail bites back . hmu on Hg executioner313 we need more cera mains
I personally prefer to try to bait an allo to waste the ambush speed chasing me (If I'm the cera), then go into turn fight with it - almost guaranteed win, if u can manage to waste the ambush of the allo
@@StickyUtahtrue but ive found most ppl i pack with are afraid to fight and allo take practice to learn its hitbox. I even sometimes get caught and ive spent 1200 hrs playing cera alone. Glad to see our server has the people come back mostly thanks to you making new vids.

The only way to stand a chance against an allo these days as cera is to rush it before it can get ambush, or run away when it does, so it will need to burn ambush to get to you and if they bite, run until they run out of ambush and go into a turn fight, if they turn away when they get to you, go after them and don't let them get ambush back, I haven't mained cera much since its rework, but I have played it a bit, and this is my only way of working around that mu.
sticky i was wondering if you could make a video on how to killl left riding utahs or how to left ride as a utah. Im not sure if you know but utahs can ride a rex's left leg and not get hit by the hitbox. It is almost impossible for a rex to beat one.

Lmao, today during the morning when I was playing as a Allo, two Ceratos ambushed me and I tried to run away in fear of dying to them. But they managed to reach me on the run and I had to fight. Result, I managed to slaughter both and it was not that hard. Damm I like the Ceratosaurus, but I feel like he is one of the worst dinosaurs of The Isle. 😂
Ceras are difficult to play against anything bigger than a utah/Dilo, and requires good understanding of strategy/mechanics - unfortunately not a lot of people play enough Cera to be good at it :/
Hey any allo mains. When you see a cera just because u do more damage and more bleed etc. the allo turns and stops like a titanic and as a cera main I have killed many cocky allos that just thought I was a meal
HAHA funny bad ceras I made a anti allo tactic against a allo as cera and it works perfectly.And a allo never wins tbh and I fight against good allos. so the tactic works like that you go in ambush with the allo and dont attack first or you wont win let the allo run in and give it one bite turn around and go with the ambush after it after the allo ambush is gone, The allo is about 10 or 5 meters awayyou go behind it if it sneaks you go in sneak to cera has a really tiny hitbox on the head so it cant hit if your head is near his mouth when your inside it so you bite it as many times as you can if it ambushes away you ambush to it to at the end your about 10 meters away you go behind it again go in ambush if it goes in it to the allo bite it as many times again follow it with ambush and ride it again and it should be dead and should only hit 2 or 1 hit on you because it didnt get time to turn.and if it gets time to turn around you turn around to and runa way and wait for it ambush to be gone.Thats the anti allo tactic as cera. And the allos I fighted and I won did he same exact same tactic as you and lost.Because if you turn around and ambush it you can hit it 2 or 3 times on the tail befor it is far enough gone.and allo ambush is 3 kmh faster not that much or 3.8 kmh to be exact.and never disingage if the allo bit you once
And at the very beginning allo just doesn't for you, you waste your ambush and stamina for nothing. Nice tactic! Guess you fought really good allos which never tried to play defensive lol.
Oh and don’t even TALK about Sub Rex vs Cera, sure it doesn’t have as much bleed as allo, but with almost the same sprint and 3 extra seconds of it, and a much bigger bite, cera is dead in almost 3 bites
They were far from horrible🙄. Cera can never keep up with Allos ambush. It’s even faster than a non ambushing Utah and last a long time. Turn around, get ambush back, and repeat. You’ll tank about one or two bites. Allos can even solo dibbles with this strategy. As can sub Gigas and Rexes. Rethink what you know about the Isle. Lots of animals here that actually beat things you would not expect. Like Giga vs trikes and shants. Or ambush using sub Giga/Rex, or ambush using Allo/Alberto/Sucho vs Dibble. It’s the same strategy that Sticky uses for the Ceras. Giga vs Rex is even doable if you can get it to waste as much stamina as possible, but I would avoid it.
