Bro, I can’t wait to to book an appointment with you. I’m terrified of moving there but I’m excited at the same time. And the Aaliyah shirt is on point.

Don’t be terrified to try some new. Contest the waters. it doesn’t have to be a permanent or definite decision, right off the jump. here’s my email: billygringotv@gmail.com

That's the type of low quality 'luxury' apartment that seems to be common in the north east of Brazil. I have lived all over South America, Africa, and SEA. Brazil and the Philippines are the two countries I have been to where the so called 'luxury' apartments can be super low quality like the one in the video. Unfortunately, only way to avoid them is to come in person or have someone you trust look at the apartment before you move in. Most landlords here, even on airbnb, don't maintain their property well and use the cheapest furniture, appliances, floors, etc. It is just bad, bad, bad. The man is disappointed because the quality and maintenance of that apartment is on par with apartments in the Ghetto in the US. Not fit for anyone who is used to middle class or higher housing in the US. The view is amazing though! Shame that the landlords are so careless.

I agree with you but saying it’s on par with ghetto apartments in the US is a stretch. Lol Thx for your input.

@@BillyGringo Definitely not the location or view obviously. I am referring to the lack of maintenance, the ugly kitchen, the cheap sofa, the cheap looking beds, the outdated washroom. That's why I think Americans are so lucky that even the lower class has access to things that are reserved for the upper class in many parts of the world.

R6,000-7,000 for the apartment. So about US$1,200.

I’m Colombian but grew up in USA since very young and I don’t get why you people really go to South America. Anyone can say whatever but the quality of life isn’t better over there and in USA there more options for work , school and everything else

Real food that isn't poison like in the US, better dating, and more lively culture.

Because many of them are on a fixed income and they can't afford to live in the US. Those who aren't on fixed incomes and work don't tend to last long in South America. They stay a max of 6 months - 2 years on average then they flee back home. As you said opportunities are much higher in the US unless you're retired and on a small fixed income.

I'm worried about you getting your phone snatched from behind while you're filming and distracted. I hope you're using one of those straps that goes around your torso and connects to your phone. They're pretty cheap.
