You're quickly becoming one of my favourites Gebs 👍 My first Amiga the A500 in 1990 when I was 16 sealed it for me after the C64. Amiga 1200 then in 1992 when I was 18. What you have done here with your video has made me feel wonderful 🤗 Still got my A1200 from '92 with it's 030@50mhz of which I acquired that accelerator in 1996. New black case, goex drive, new Amiga badge.... etc I'm waiting for a few more bits before I make the full update to it. And then I'll be doing a new 2nd A1200 upgrade in memory of my Son 💕 Thank you, such beautiful work 🙏

Another great vid. I've been singing Ruff N Tumbles praises ever since I first bought it in 1994. I would also thoroughly recommend Fire & Ice, Apidya, Harlequin, Battle Squadron, and Apprentice.

Ruff and tumble. One of my fave platformers. Again. IMO the amiga was me at peak gaming. Loved the 90s and this immense console. I was an amiga 600 owner Came with the putty bundle and deluxe paintb4 I think. Loving the videos.

For the longest time I've heard great things about Ruff N Tumble but never got around to picking it up, have to seek it out - great video! 👍 Other gems of games are Toki and Centurion - Defender of Rome.

Love these old Amiga games. I got an Amiga 500 for Christmas 1990 with the screen gems pack when I was 10. Great memories. If you’ve never played it, Jumping Jackson was amazing and well worth searching out!

Never knew about the game of the same name, I wonder if the song and this game have something to do with each other? I even digged the CD out and started listening it after long time :)

fly harder, didnt know about that one I loved gravity force/power which was a similar physics 2 player vs game, going to have to have a go on that :) The lady loft is looking pretty sweet!

I unpacked both of my Amiga 1000s last week, truly the Queen of all Amigas and the most elegant computer ever to look at and use.

Ruff N Tumble looked like a stand out as soon as I saw it, so not surprised it was your favourite! Though Fly Harder was also your favourite, so not sure how that works haha. Ruff N Tumble looks kinda like a cross between Sonic and Gunstar Heroes, which are both great games of course. Fly Harder reminds me of a game I played on the Megadrive that I think was called something like Terranigma, but I'll have to double check haha. Turns out it's called Sub-Terrania. You're really spoiling us with bonus games as well! It's almost like bonus levels in a video game!

Ruff definitely rulez! Not so hidden, but definitely a gem. If they only put hidden gems on the A500 mini, it would be a blast! I definitely enjoyed this episode and it would have made for a few more like it. Thanks for showing a lot of my picks, I appreciate it. I'd call it the Hidden Gemma🌼

Great Video, please make more Amiga content, some of my Favourites are, Ruff 'n' Tumble, The Chaos Engine, Another World, Xenon 1 and 2, SWIV, Hybris, Battle Squadron, Turrican 1 to 3, Walker, Disposable Hero, Apidya, Blood Money, The Great Giana Sisters, Super Stardust, IK+, Wings of Death, Menace, Project-X, Z-Out, X-Out, Agony, Shadow of the Beast 1 to 3, Banshee (I think this is AGA only), Saint Dragon, Zool, Uridium 2, Silkworm, SuperFrog and all the Kick Off games, I can continue remembering more so I will stop now.

Really nice list. Out of the 10 games, I had played four and might try four new ones. (Entity, Oops up, Odyssey and Delivrance). With the release of the A500 Mini, many people have been making lists of good amiga games and I must say that I was surprised and disappointed not to come accross Bubba'n'Stix once. (I saw it on your USB stick in your 68 amiga games added to the A500 Mini video) I suppose it's sort of a niche game as it's a punishing puzzle platformer and it was released late in the amiga lifespan, but still, I'm unsettled at how much it remains unnoticed or unappreciated when it truly is a seriously good game.

These are some interesting games. I played Benefactor and Brian the Lion, but after that time I got a PC so I stopped paying attention to the last few years of Amiga games. I need to put some of these on my Mini.

Deliverance, the child of Castlevania and GODS. Unfortunately the name always makes me think of the movie. Benefactor was one of my all time favorite Amiga games, which is shocking considering I don't like either puzzle or platformer games. It still made it to my now ancient favorite Amiga games video. And since for me it was always a pain to make Amiga emulators work, you know I like it. It's a game which has aged really well and could easily make it today with some remastered version for modern systems. I'm surprised Games Workshop didn't sue Ruff N Tubmlebb developer/publisher for that weapon looking so much like a W40K Bolter. Good video, a couple of games I never heard before. Thanks for sharing. Good video. The title would be better with the the word “gems” added, IMO. To me, a “hidden” game to add to my A500 Mini is one that’s included in the game but hidden in the menus. Vs. a hidden gem that’s a great game that few people are aware of.

What is crazy to think is that the 500 came out in the late 80s, though newer models came out, you could run games like ruff and tumble on it, graphics wise up there with the mega drive and SNES. Use to wire me up as you got developers that got how to make the most out of the 500 and then you got the developers that ported street fighter 2😳

Wicked watch, I have 1 question, how do you make the workbench work as I updated my firmware and far as it works an error cane up on next screen with no drive? Presuming you need usb keyboard and the mouse to work?

Get Stormlord onto your a500 if not already. That unreleased Legacy game looks a lot like it in the over-world level. I've always loved Stormlord since 90s getting it on import on my Megadrive. That's my favourite port. Great game, little platform puzzler with nice sound effects and atmospheric

Legacy is "a classic side-scrolling platform game"? Um, no, with respect, that game doesn't scroll at all. It is a flick-screen game, as demonstrated in your video. Some other games in the video ARE side-scrolling: Ruff n'Tumble, Risky Woods and Odyssey and the last of these also scrolls vertically.
