The Coast Starlight this day was running nearly 4 hours late and had only one locomotive and no baggage car at all almost looking like a normal Capitol Corridor or San Joaquins coming through. They ended up adding another locomotive in Oakland. Luckily I had planned to come to the Bay Area while it was running late so I could get another video of the Coast Startlight especially here at the Eckley Pier on the Carquinez Straight. After this I left for Crockett for a brief stop at the private crossing for the C & H Pure Cane Sugar factory is see how heavy the security is and changed my mind because of two reasons. One being there was a lot of security at the time I came and two being the MRVOA manifest was already going through the crossing which was stopped to me left waiting for this and Two other Amtraks and when I made it to the private crossing it was already passing so I just went onto San Pablo where I got ahead of the manifest train.
Amtrak Coast Starlight train 11 passes through the Eckley Pier Pedestrian Railroad Crossing westbound on the UP Martinez Subdivision main line in Crockett, California. This crossing is an SP late 1980s to mid 1990s signal build install with changes to its bells and lights.
