One of the MOST tragic losses in the early 2010s. Her documentary is very touching. Granted she made her own choices as an adult and sadly what happened happened. However, Amy Winehouse was a RARE vocal talent that became a punchline. Some people can be really cruel. This why I LOATHE tabloid magazines. Rest in peace Amy. 😔🙏🏾❤️🕊️

I was too young to understand her legacy/artistry when she was still around, and the media left a really negative impression of her. Once I got older, listened to her discography, learned about her story, i realized this woman was a powerhouse, no pun intended. She was so misunderstood. Something that i find in common with several icons like her is that the family failed them (ex. selena, aaliyah) and it just seemed like the people with most control (usually the dad) were just money hungry and put their health and wellness aside.

I was little but still haven’t forgotten how some woman called our house, I picked up and she asked for my father in a wicked way all sexy like, I went 2get my mom since he wasn’t home. I never heard my Mom curse the way she did and scream at this person on the phone. I just stood there n watched her. She slammed the phone down then picked up the receiver and hit me on my forehead with it really really hard. I saw stars. She took out her rage on me and ever since then I despise women who knowingly go after married men and are kept as their mistresses. It always hurt feeling like he left us for his new family, like we were nothing to him. Well, most people drink and/or smoke weed. It's not just Amy. And weed doesn't kill you, but alcohol poisoning and coke can. I've always thought her death was suspicious. No one can sing like her; she came here to leave a legacy, and she did. Regarding the 27 club: Some people come here to be shining supernovas and then, like a supernova, burn out. This is why they reach massive success early-then exit at 27. I also think the SOUL knows when the body is set to leave. ❤I also think there are rituals we don't know about within the industry to ensure they leave at 27. In numerology, 27 equates to the number 9, which is synonymous with completion. And apparently, the 27 club goes back much further than legendary Kurt Cobian. Nevertheless, my favorite Amy song is "Unholy War." She is unmatched in her vocal ability. May she continue to RIP. 👑💜

Bingo! It’s well known in astrology that 27 is when everyone’s Saturn returns. Saturn is ruled by SaTaN & that planet also rules the star sign Capricorn that is why it is represented by ‘the goat’ and is known as the ‘devil’ card in tatot. This is why the devilL/SatAn is often represented as having horns etc.. Saturn / Saatan returns is basically like, If you don’t learn your lesson by the time it comes around, it can make things really difficult , intense or it gets you out of here. It is also the ruler of music (hence why we call great musicians ‘The Goat’) So it’s more intense with them. It’s more complicated than simply because she took ‘drinks & drugs’ because then we’ve got to ask why all these poor people with serious drug habits are still around? There’s more going on in life than simple stuff like that lol. Everything happens exactly as it will happen because it’s in the PLAN of the creator hence why planets are called PLANets. Literally.

Absolutely. And unfortunately, signing with the music industry/Hollywood and making it big, often involves a contract with evil, followed by a human sacrifice. Anyways, Karine you always made the best video and do such an amazing job of digging deeper than just what other says and I admire that about you a lot dear ❤ Hope that all is well love. 💛

What a voice and what a talent. As a Virgo, most folks don't understand how vulnerable we can be. Also, our unique psychic gifts. Bring a part of the music biz there is darkness. G-d bless, Amy. She lived out her destiny in the short time she spent on this earth.

Once I learned about her I loved her, I looked at her as human, like me. Nobody stopped to think she suffered from substance because one, paparazzi, two her ex, and three fame. Amy was BEAUTIFUL I hate that she never thought that. The abuse she endured is horrible and as far as I know nobody did anything they just watched. Her story always breaks my heart. And her dad is lame for not taking responsibility for part of her pain like that never sat right with me.

When I first heard Amy's song, Rehab, I assumed when she sang, "'my daddy thinks I'm fine" that she was talking about a boyfriend, the way some couples, like Nancy and Ronald Reagan, creep me out by calling each other "mommy" and "daddy." When I learned she had been worried about the effect of her addictions on her health, after hearing what her doctor said about it, and had asked her ACTUAL father for his opininion about the tour she was thinking of not going forward with, after her death? All the pieces fell into place. What kind of father would give the advice he did? Telling her essentially that she ought to go on with the tour because it was her big moment, her time in the spotlight, and she didn't want to mess up that momentum because fans can be fickle and good singers are plentiful. Apparantly the kind who could make such a self-serving comment about how his daughter's TALENT was "inspired" by him having an open affair with what his kids called his "work wife" -- the kind who wants to live off his offspring after carving a river of pain through her heart that was part of what made her voice so arresting and haunting. What a delusional scumbag to flaunt his cheating then try to take credit for Amy's talent which he was apparantly planning to live a life of leisure off of. Her "ladyman" loser of a boyfriend, scumbag number two in her life, may have supplied her drugs, which combined with her eating disorder to destroy her health, along with the alcohol she was drinking by the time she was an adolescent (gee, wonder why ... maybe Drew Barrymore's dad couldn't keep it in his pants either) but it was the opposite of a dear, old dad who tipped the scales toward wanting to go on performing instead of taking a break and checking into rehab to have a chance at ending the addictions she could not on her own. So tragic that die-hard love for a diddling dad and a mooching, loserly drug dealer, neither of whom deserved it in the end, the beginning or the middle, was what ultimately lead to her sharp vocal decline and to not even being able to see her beauty by age 25 or connect to the music which had long been her passion, before Mr. Ladyman arrived on the scene and many years after losing her dad to the multiple-life-wrecker, Jane, at his office. It's not surprising that the media promoted her Rehab song more heavily than any other. Because setting a bad example for young people, people of any age, to follow is what the demon-infested entertainment industry is all about. This recent Joe Rogan interview with a member of the band, Megadeath, gives insight into the kind of pressure and temptations our favorite singers all fall under as soon as the hailer's of Satan get their hands on pure talent (seeing the difference in health between first and second videos of concerts in brazil, not that far apart, of Florence and the Machine is one illustration) It's amazing that there are not more members of the 27 club. I doubt any of them actually committed suicide. Because their record companies, who sign them to multi-million dollar contracts trick them with contracts most don't even read that will nickel and dime it away until they're surprised to see how all the expenses, that are deducted from those promised-but-never-delivered millions which most of them do NOT understand will happen when they sign, very quickly add up and eventually leave them near penniless, or even in the hole. Speaking of hole, it's cringey that mediocre, 90's punk band's sub-par singer and former wife of another 27 club member, Nirvana's Kurt Cobain, making her one of many singers who've profited from Amy's death by releasing "tribute" recordings of her songs when so many of his fans, and others such as documentary film makers, still believe Kurt would be alive today if it wasn't for how miserable some of his lyrics imply his life when married to Courtney was. And when some believe it was not him, but her, who physically pulled the trigger that ended his life. Could be that Kurt had had enough of his strung-out mate, but she wasn't having it ... Record companies, and widows, can make more off of a recording artist when they're dead than when they're alive, especially if their talent is fading from overdoing the freely offered drugs and alcohol or if they were thinking of moving on from a bad relationship with a label, or an intimate partner.. 🖤🖤🖤 RIP 27 club, you certainly earned it. Please do a video on Janis Joplin, if you haven't already. Her vocals don't measure up to Amy's talent, but no one ever sang with more heart, cut deep as a river, as those two stellar women.

We always trying to blame someone else for our own behaviors. She had a serious addiction, alcohol, whatever. She refused rehab. She even had a song embracing her demon, refusing help. She was talented but that's her downfall.
@blahblahblah6898
@blahblahblah6898 Год назад
I kinda agree tbh. Amy Winehouse is, in my books, one of the most talented artists that surfaced on the last decades. But people always treat her like this abandoned soul who had no one to protect her. False actually, she had a whole team who worked full time just to keep her safe from her own addictions. Her father while reluctant at first actually told her to go to rehab countless times, and she had good and true friends who supported her through all the process. Now, i whole heartedly believe she was an amazing human being, but addiction is a strong disease u can only heal an addict if they’re willing to heal themselves. Amy actually proved that when she abandoned all hard drugs years before her death and claimed “I just woke up one morning and decided it wasn’t for me”, yet she couldn’t do the same with alcohol in time. She tried though and she deserves props for that
