Lol, love this apology. I am painfully aware of this issue, which is why I am careful to like and comment on some videos. Has happened to me numerous times. Oh crap, now YT is going to suggest a bunch of apology videos to me...

I LOOOVE it when my feed all of a sudden is filled with drivel, because then I get to click on every video and choose "do not recommend this channel", which immediately and permanently improves my feed. I've been doing it for years and years, to the point where the only reason I know who mr. Beast is, is because he gets mentioned by the channels I do watch

Funny video. On the other side tho some fatastic bands have come out of black metal. Emperor, Arcturus, Thorns, Enslaved, Old Mans Child, Darkthrone, Urfaust, Darkthrone and not to forget Darkthrone. Also Albaze in the Notheren Sky came out before Live in Leipzig and after Soulside Journey so you are wrong about stuff and so basically everything ever. Big 90s Hugh Grant hair on ya ;)

Sure your entitled to your opinion but to say the black metal genre is stifling the underground is complete nonsense. Maybe the Deftones have the underground on their back. I think the musical styles of black metal are fair game for any genre. Nobody gets mad when some guy is playing flamenco guitar with tremolo picking. It's just a method to create a sound that invokes a feeling. If I want to add melodic tremolo picking to my synth pop band, I will! Just like rock was a mutant of blues & folk elements. It happens to every style that has appeal until we end up with musical mush and eventually culture moves on. Perhaps occasionally, a unique combination sparks the impetus for an entirely new movement, and that's progress! Honestly, I think black metal has more appeal today because we are all screaming out internally in this overstimulated/isolated abyss we call the our present times.

I am big on my black metal for about 29 years now and regardless of the many discrepancies in the info of that video, my view being very different on specific bands/influence, and the torrents of woe that come with poopooped algorithms I love the Circle of Tone.
