At first my dads reaction to me being bi hurt, but now he is more accepting of it. Telling my mum was easier, my dad harder. Even with depression, dads reaction was “what you got to be depressed about?” and I think it was more of a shock to him that I kept it hidden from him. I am proud of you every single day Matthew, proud to call you one of my friends, a great Bluenose with a massive heart. Hold your head high, and just be awesome, because you truly are awesome.
