Hi Gary, thanks for the update. Very sorry to hear about your mother . You are looking great for having been through such a stressful time. I just thought I would ask, what is the reason that the engine needs stripped in order to weld that casing? Have you tried asking around for a second opinion about this? I’m not sure how much stripping needs to be done as I don’t know what casing it is but I know there are some very high tech alloy welding machines in today’s world. Hi , in answer to you question regarding the stripdown , I have been told that the casing may be needed to be placed in different angles to be able to fill and build up the hole will alumium weld, so as to remark , drill and tap . pain but in the B.. but there we are . Cheers Gary.
