Analog Four Mk II: made my first song

I've recently found myself paralysed by choice. Too many options, trying to move too fast and getting nowhere. So in an attempt to slow things down I decided to actually dig into the Elektron Analog Four Mk II manual. Learn how to use the synth properly and create my first song. The plan is to create a collection of songs using just this synth - which is an absolute beauty!

Thanks. I had to work it through using the online PDF manual. It took me a while, but once I got there it became easy. When I get time I'll do a video on it :)

Hi there - great video! Couple of questions. Which do you prefer out of this and the digitone? And can you please tell me what you're running the analog four into? Is it a recording device?

Luke Gray I love the Digitone but the A4 is my favourite. Has a great warmth of character and the ability to easily create songs. It’s running into a Zoom H6 recorder.

Thanks for the video. This video helped my decision to get one of these. I'm an old-school experimental guy getting back into it. Question: What Zoom are you using? Multi-track? I like to over dub and play some things live so it sounds organic (and record vocals). Clean recording?

Thanks :) - this is straight into the Zoom H6, no overdubs on this one. It uses the four midi tracks within the A4 itself - its a brilliant synth :)

Thanks. Yes - created the patterns and then chained them in song mode, then 'performed' elements using the shortcuts/performance macros :)
