I've been using this feature on my S24 Ultra and love this feature. Glad to see Google is releasing this for the Pixel devices.

It's so cool to see app pairs furthering the multi-tasking experience on slab phones too. I hate big phones but at least now they have an actual use case. This should also make the android tablet experience that much better as well since OEMs won't have to try and implement their own version of this feature. Good job Google

The adaptive vibration is also new Shane works nice you have to settings to set up has nice demo using your microphone to adjust your phone

Yeah i have been rocking it since yesterday it works great on my pixel fold, and i uninstalled be nice, the beta is working fine and private space is also very cool.

it seems that the save app pairs not happening on my Pixel Fold. When clicked the app icons, only option is App Info. What's happening?

App pairs not working on my fold. Hold and swipe up doesn't show options. Maybe because I use nova launcher idk

@@scaryifliteral That is not the scenario I was referring to. It is already possible to do that. (I can appreciate possible use cases there.) However, it is the "pairing" feature I don't quite see the need for. I suspect it may be for regularly used apps, right?

I'm talking about app pairs in my reply. If you have no scenarios wherein you frequently use the same two apps in split screen, this might not be useful to you. Many others do have two such apps though. I've been using two apps for bird identification and tracking that I've been launching in split screen lately. It comes down to your usage.
