It's Great, But Should You Buy It? Google Pixel 8a Review 

Definitely would get the 8a over the 8.

I think the 8a is a great value considering its hardware and software. It is almost an 8 for $200 less. Sure, the 8 may go on sale, but usually the a-series goes on sale as well. And yes, Google often runs sales, but it is never guaranteed they will even if past says they likely will.

Definitely, when it's on sale. I'll purchase it as a secondary device to put betas on.

Traded in my 6 for 155 plus got a 100 dollar gift card at Best buy. Great back up for my fold, now I have all the features I was missing.

I prefer the look of the pixel 8A matte black but the used pixel 8 is less and in afew months it qill be cheaper

The 'a' series are good enough that I would recommend them to people I know who want a good all around phone for under $500. For me, I'm pretty spoiled and often use the telephoto lens so naturally I am rocking the S24 Ultra. Hopefully, Google will get serious and a bigger zoom lens on their pro model.

On the subject of performance, it's a matter of sustained performance where you'll see a difference. If you do game, use one of those phone coolers you strap to the back of the phone and it will perform like any other Pixel 8. Thermal throttling is the performance killer, not the "A" moniker

I got my 8A for free when renewing my contract for 24 months. I thought it was a nice deal. I like most parts of the phone, but some parts are irritating, like the back navigation bottom on the left side. and no gallery app!

5:25 There should be a phone size for everyone whether it's 6.1" or 6.8". I love the 6.8" inch size phone because of the screen size which is excellent for consuming media and for productivity. Another important reason to have a large phone is because the gamers will love to have bigger screen for gaming. And they may not want to carry around two devices all the time to play games but a bigger screen will be excellent for gaming at convenient times (one size catering for multiple purposes). And lastly a bigger screen is awesome for viewing photos & videos for photographers as it enables them to have a clearer perspective of their newly captured photos or videos. So phone makers should provide a variety of phone sizes for the diverse customers needs.

I bought the 8a, a Pixel Watch 1 and Google Fi Flexible Plan subscription for a little less than 28 dollars a month for 24 months. For the same plan with a Pixel 8 instead I would get 400 dollars off the 8 (I got 500 dollars off for the 8a) so I would pay 12.5 dollars more per month. 28 dollars for a Pixel 8A or 41 dollars for the Pixel 8? I chose the 8A because I'm broke af but I still maintain it was the better decision.

i have a pixel 7a is it even worth upgrading .. i could careless about a camera .. i have had my 7a for like idk 8 mth or more now i have used the camera once , that was just to take pictures of a controller i had to have returned to have fixed.

I love pixel phones but seriously why the black bar at the bottom where the navigation pill is? And also the big black bar at the top that hides the hole punch cutout for the selfie camera. Why can't Google stretch the apps to go past it. It just looks way better. I don't understand. It looks ugly this way.

When it drops in price to $375 ish after four months then it's a good buy. but at $500 no thanks.

This costs 650$(54000 INR) in India😂. Was previous Pixel owner(2, 3a XL). Now a Nothing Phone 2 user (420$ here in India).

Plz compared with iphone 15 or galaxy s24😊
