Android 18 definitely humbled Vegeta. He was a super saiyan, yet Android 18 singlehandedly and legitimately defeated Vegeta, showing him how super saiyans just weren't enough.
@@Codenamesuper to make it worse, Dr. Gero wasn't even studying past the saiyan saga, so he knew nothing about the power gains that the characters gained on Namek or the warning they got from Future Trunks that led to them training for 3 years. The androids were still far stronger than any of the Z-fighters at that point, even with them knowing about the androids ahead of time. Android 18 herself was the weakest of the trio consisting of herself, 17, and 16, yet she was still stronger than Vegeta, who was arguably the strongest of the Z-fighters at the time. Gero was a genius who created absolute beasts, even though he had insufficient data.
@@StareachValcin Gero must have been a real genius for creating androids on Earth. The fact that his own engineering managed to beat the Saiyans is an accomplishment in itself.
OMG I never EVER! thought I’d ever hear those words stringed together in my life 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I’m too sick to be laughing this much. Gawd this guy is too funny 😂 hehehe
if someone propped me back up with a damn finger and then back handed through the side of a mountain id give up vegetas arrogance the reason he’s always catching the hands
@Spino Rexy Vegeta's arrogance has landed the entire planet in the shit so many times even after his turn to good. Not immediately obliterating Gero because he wanted to play with 19 allowed 16, 17 and 18 to be activated... and then he allowed Cell to reach perfect form. Then in the Buu saga with his overconfidence vs the goons allowing them to take more energy to wake up Buu... and then his grudge match with Goku serving to ACTUALLY wake Buu up...
2:21 I really liked how the show showed the perspective between a vet and a novice when it showed Trunks thinking Vegeta had a chance while piccolo knew vegeta was finished
I do like how Vegeta tries to save Tien. His fight was between himself and 18. He got his arm broken by 18. All reason and logic suggests he should have gotten back up and gone after 18. But instead he clearly sees Tien getting chocked out and legit goes after 17 instead in an attempt to save him. A moment for Vegeta? Or am I reading too much into it.
Even though he still looked down on humans during this point, I like how this small action hinted at how Vegeta has a quiet respect for Tien. Tien is the only human Z fighter that never quit training, and unlike Krillin, was a lot less outspoken about being afraid
@@Planars Vegeta violated 18 in a worse way that she could ever imagine by making her into insect food, no topping that lol...as for Perfect Cell, Vegeta despite being a lot weaker humiliated him with final flash then proceeded to play a part in violating him forever when he helped gohan kill him, vegeta’s was the last face cell saw before gohan’s beam vaporised him 💀
@@derek5608 What you mean vegeta humilliated cell with the final flash? Cell straight up said "Oh no my arm gone... jk lol" and regenerated before VIOLATING Vegeta for good. And Vegeta could never do shit to Cell, he only caused Gohan's arm to get fucked up and threw a weak ass ki blast to Cell in hope of not being completely useless
@@rodrigoisrael9891 lmao No, Cell literally was like “oh shit 😧” right before the beam hit him, that face became a meme forever LOL literally CRAPPED his pants against someone MUCH weaker than him and typically could only save himself cause of that cheap regen hack...also unlike the other z fighters efforts that “weak ass ki blast” caused Cell enough pain to lose his focus and get obliterated by Gohan’s beam, hence regardless of how much you moan about it Vegeta played a big part in Cell’s violation, so yeah keep coping ☠️
My favorite part about this is that he is right about the truck driver being dead forever. They only wished back the people killed by Cell and/or the androids, right? Vegeta smoked that dude. Then Majin Buu came along like 7 years later, so it was too late. Unless I'm remembering it wrong, he like dead dead, right?
I think they just threw that line in for the TV broadcast because you can't show innocent people dying on Nickelodeon. I don't remember it being in the blu-ray when I re-watched recently.
I forgot how many times that happened....lol can you imagine being in heaven watching Krillen get 4 lives. He died to Tambourine, Frieza, and when Buu blew up Earth. FOUR LIVES. I'd be sooo heated. They'd probably kick me out of heaven.
I love her. I noticed that she seems to get hate from certain parts of our community mainly from hardcore Vegeta fans or Frieza fans more likely. They downplay her feats and strength as if she's not actually stronger than a SSJ1 or even SSJ2 now if we're talking about her in Super.
@@afroamerican8499 Too bad we saw very little of her. This was her peak, she was the strongest in the world at that moment and feared by everyone. Not Goku, nor Vegeta, not even Cell in his imperfect form and he knew that. It all went downhill after this.
Trunks is a survivor. I like to believe he was acting like he was knocked out and powered down to sell it. He was waiting for the androids to leave as he's probably done so many times in the future. Vegeta was playing possum for a sneak attack, and Trunks was laying there thinking, "couldn't be me."
"And look at 16 concerned about birds bro. Those birds don't know you." Christ, it's little stuff like this that always catch me off guard and have me crying 🤣😂
It's funny because his super saiyan humiliation just gets served up right away even after that! A Freezer level one too, poor Cooler. But he had a great time before it though.
This scene has always burned in my mind as a Vegeta fan. The Androids war way overpowered and a different strategy was needed. That's why it was always satisfying to see future Trunks take them out so easily.
No one humbled Vegeta more than Perfect Cell. Vegeta had Cell ruthlessly outclassed but gave into his worst instincts, resulting in a humiliating beat down and later the death of his son, only for his rival’s 11-yr old half-blooded son to save the day
“16 is concerned about birds… bro they do not know you.” 😭😂 that’s the biggest violation in dragon ball history. No beating could compare to that burn 😭😂
1:06 this is kai's "I can see their parachutes, they're okay" moment. For some reason Kai and Ocean Dub tried to censor any instance of death to hilarious results.
DBZ Kai (for the most part) when made in Japan is just Dragon Ball Z with fillers removed, but in the USA there are censored versions for TV, that's why you gotta buy the DBZ Kai Uncut Blu Rays.
One of the most iconic fights in DBZ, breaking his arm dropped my jaw when I was a kid, and was and still one of those scenes that define the greatest anime of all time.
Lemme just say as a truck driver, that if I ever saw two people squaring off in the middle of the highway, and one of them was glowing, I’d park my truck, hop outta that piece and walk away 😂
"Funny how Quickly Bravado goes out the window when you're flat on your ass... that's Pretty Sad." "SAD FOR YOOOOOOO-" **One Kick to the Arm of Vegeta, Folding it like a Napkin** -Aaaaaaaaaaahh.... **After a resounding Crunch, Vegeta Stumbles away, holding his busted arm, just to drop to his knees and after 3 Seconds of Silence....** ffffffFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU-
4:26 U gotta understand. Trunks was being reminded exactly why he came to the past He already know what it is. I mean he even tried to tell them they wasn't listening.
