I have to admit that watching Angelina and her family is a bittersweet experience for me because I love what I see but I'm also looking at what I never had. I feel this a lot when listening to Angelina; so much love yet so much loss of connection to it. Perhaps that is why I can't get enough of Angelina Jordan.
Correction. AGT champions was not live. It was recorded in October of 2019. Therefore Angelina was 13 through the whole show. This you can check out to verify . Aside from this I have to say that Angelina is not a singer. Almost anyone can sing What she is, is a musical artist. Painting beautiful pictures with her soulful beautiful voice. A Michelangelo of music. Priceless
Alan, I believe if you look closely at Sarah, she is wiping a tear from the cheek of Juliette. Like you I believe that shows a special insight into the family dynamics, a view that shows a precious and special level of empathy and love Sarah has for her children. I think this shows how Angelina is able to have an extraordinary level of fame and accomplishment while maintaining an attitude of grace and humility. What an incredible young lady!
Dear Alan, Thank you very much for your love and great support for our most lovely and talented Angelina Jordan. Yes she is indeed a very special and rare gem!
And after all this time, I am ever so slightly branching out. Pontus and I are doing a weekly AJ podcast. We are trying to focus on what makes people cry when they listen to AJ. It was a major mystery to me a year ago- and it's still a major mystery. But that doesn't stop us from exploring it
I case someone is looking for the dress and wondering - it's been sold out some time ago. Wonderful comment. Angelina later said the golden buzzer moment felt to her like everything went to slo-mo. I grew to appreciate Howies comment, it really was that performance that had the crucial halo impact. I think even winning the show wouldn't have added much on top of that. It more than doubled her fanbase in a matter of months and probably helped a lot to get the kind of conditions for her record deal that she wanted. I just realized Juliet is the same age Angelina won Norways got Talent. A wonderful way to get a second chance to experience this moment of her sister winning the hearts. Reminds me of Michael Jackson who stated one of the triggers for his farewell tour "This is it" was to have his kids experience him live at least one last time. BTW I have some doubt Simon would not be involved in discussions about the lineup for the Champions franchise. So he should be somewhat been aware of her. His comment blends perfectly with her insisting on NGT, "I'm only a normal girl". Regarding the golden buzzer it may be interesting to note that long term followers of the franchise are stating every judge is assigned one day where he/she's allowed to award it.
For the AGT Champions there were 4 nights of auditions and the judges were each assigned a night to give the Golden Buzzer. This particular night happened to be Heidi's turn.
Angelina's "I've been waiting (since I was THREE) to sing for Simon" always struck me. I hope others in earlier comments noted that this contest was filmed in October 2019. Broadcast Jan 2020... that's the "4 days before her birthday." I've always enjoyed Angelina's tonal change in her last stanza, almost achieved a bell-like, carillon-piano tone. Just amazing. Alan, you wisely noted "stone face" Simon early on but it's him that 'explodes first' when Heidi slams the buzzer down. And his closing comment about Angeline not knowing how good she is. This is from someone who's singular contribution to this TV genre is knowing how good someone is. HIGHEST PRAISE, therefore.
Ollie Tsb Music Icon QUINCY JONES stated that Angelina Jordan was the greatest RAW TALENT he has ever seen since Michael Jackson. And he worked with Michael Jackson for years
Just a little notice about her outfit. In an interview she said that she had worked together with her grandma many years with the painting she used in her outfit.
Alan, what an absolute sensational presentation by you! This was probably the 501st time I've seen her sing Bohemian Rhapsody and you actually made me cry. And, don't lie, I could tell your voice was beginning to crack a little but you kept it together. To me, when Simon hugged Angelina, that was a very, very special moment. I wonder if Simon, in his personal life, has listened to this performance. More than once? Thanks, Alan. I know it was a struggle to get this to appear on you tube. I will now go out of my house and do my usual things which includes introducing Angelina to someone who doesn't know her. Again, thank you and be well.
Yes, it was a struggle to unblock it- I had to do all sorts of contortions. (How did you know??) The good news is my next 2 videos are both recorded and edited. Watch this space
@@thealanpapier I will and look forward to watching. To answer your question I received at least 2 notices that you were presenting this on you tube but when I tried to put it on it was blocked. When I saw it again (this time) I tried again and, "here it is!"
@@MrTombre Thanks Tom. I'll be on the lookout for it. Although I consider myself a super fan, there are many fans who know much more than I do. You're probably in that category yourself
This was where I first met my favorite singer to be. A true wonder of the world IMHO. Her voice is so special that even when she speaks it is amazing for me to listen to. Angelina is easily one in a billion, I wish her the best and may God protect His gift to us. Thumbs up Alan, your time and words are much appreciated my friend.
For me this was the ultimate reaction to Angelinas performance and I must say you are a good storyteller. AGT was the last performance of Angelina going viral in 2020. Her huge fanbase is unpatiently waiting for the next chapter - under the label of Republic Records. Her home studio performances are history, and she is ready to meet the world musical theatre,
I have to disagree with Simon on his assessment on the simplicity of this rendition. While the accompaniment may have been stripped down and somewhat simple, the vocals were highly nuanced and quite sophisticated. It was nothing short of a jazz vocal masterpiece.
I stumbled across Angelina last night on America’s Got Talent. I watched video after video of her singing. I can’t believe I never seen her before. She is great and I hope she remains under the care of her family.
What an incredible Reaction! Your narrations of observation and analysis is beyond any I've seen thus far. Stunning reaction of an amazing once-in-a-lifetime Talent. Thank you 💜
Thank you for another great video and for your insights. Just a minor correction. The show was pre-taped. Filming started Oct 3 and ended Oct 21. Angelina was about 3 months shy from her 14 birthday and not 4 days.
Excellent analysis. I so appreciate you highlighting special moments of that epic performance. I watch over a hundred reactions each week, and your reactions are the ones are the ones I most look forward to. Thank you for giving a great start on the weekend!
Alan, I really enjoyed this & agreed with most of everything you said except that the judges knew nothing about her except that she won NGT in 2014. We now know from Michael's interview, that Simon had been trying to get Angelina on AGT for a couple of years, but they said no because of the standard AGT contract. I'm sure Simon or his people had seen many of her YT videos, they would be stupid not to have researched her.. He wanted her so bad, AGT relented & gave her a special contract that relinquished all control over her if she would sing. They needed her for the ratings & she needed them for exposure to the American market. Heidi had seen some Angelina videos & had made comments about how amazing she was before Angelina was on the show. I think that's why she was the last judge, every one else got their say before she got to hit the buzzer. I would be very surprised if Alecia speaks Norwegian, that was her prepared comment, IMO. I don't know whether Howie knew anything about her previously. I'm sorry to say most of these shows are fake. The only genuine parts were the performance, the audience response and Angelina's & her family's reactions. Keep up the good work & I'll be watching.
In the interview she gives the impression that she will be able to win and the interaction with the judges seem to be different when she performs yellow brick road I wonder if the curtain has been pulled back and now she is aware or did she know everything from the beginning what do you think
@@davidlook8888 I really don't know. Michael didn't mention anything about that, but I doubt she knew the legal details at the beginning & she probably thought she could win. I agree she wasn't as happy after GYBR, so maybe the curtain had been pulled by then.
You put my thoughts in to words. Every thing you mention also went through my mind. You hit it on the nail( is that correct English because its not my native language).
She just put out a new single though Republic Records "Million Miles" a soulful ballad about the loss of losing someone you love like the loss of her grandfather.
Alan I have to agree with Mr. DeMartins comment , this was the absolute best presentation of any reactor to this video. The way you explained every important segment brought new appreciation for the performance. You highlighted moments I just took for granted. Please keep up your journey with our "Barefoot Angle" Thanks, Alan.
Aside from Angelina's amazing talent, I think that she is most extraordinary, especially for a 14 year old, because she seems to be completely self-aware without being at all self-absorbed. She appears to know that she is an extraordinary artist, but seems to be completely unpretentious. I can't think of a single other young singer who is less likely of being accused of having any of the negative qualities associated with being called a "diva". In fact, I think it is a very short list of all teen-agers who have such well-developed character. Ed
Two things I've noticed from Angelina is when ever she is hugged she leans in and gives a warm and secured rub on the other persons back. Angelina shows pure love and affection to all, it's so sweet. the second thing was her respond to how she was feeling at that moment and her respond took me to Dorothy in "The Wizard of Oz" at the end when she says, " There's no place like home"
What a splendid, thorough and informative reaction. Really good appreciation of what's going on. Just a couple of points. The show was aired 4 days before her 14th birthday but was filmed much earlier. And I honestly don't believe the judges didn't know anything about her except that she'd won NGT. Heidi greeted her with great familiarity, the other one spoke to her in Norwegian (I don't think she speaks Norwegian), and they'd have been remiss in never having seen a video of her in the previous 6 years. It doesn't make sense, considering. Besides we know that Simon had been after her since NGT. Sight unseen? I think not.
I never saw the ending before, with Simon saying, "I don't think you know how good you are." Loved it. Thanks for this attentive, insightful reaction. Warmed my heart.
Goosebump all over my body and some tears at the end ❤ Amazing is an understatement of her. Fantastic reaction ❤ Keep up the good work. Wish you a happy weekend ❤
I had skipped this review because I know her AGT performance quite well, but I’m happy I came back to it! Your analysis and attention to detail are brilliant! Thank you Alan!
Thank you, Alan, for a wonderful analysis and for all your work to get a version of this that RU-vid wouldn't block. I've often thought that one of Angelina's strengths was her ability to interpret lyrics and get down to the heart of songs. I believe a lot of that also comes from her poet grandmother. Again, thank you!
Your channel open my eyes to what can be done on RU-vid with amazing content. Your channel is far beyond what I expected from RU-vid.... You are a gift, and I am glad I found your channel. And I can see why Angelina Jordan is inspirational. Keep telling her story.
Thank you for your kind words. Your words invite another point to be made. Even the simplest task, the most ordinary moment can be reinvented with a shift in perspective
I've seen this vid many times and am a super fan,but you just made a very, very perceptive commentary.A very enjoyable experience!Don't stop doing these ,please! What a singer. Our velvet queen!
Awesome reaction, I appreciate you so much. This was my introduction to Angelina and there has been very few days (probably could count them on one hand) that I haven’t listened to her sing. I’ve seen this video of her AGT performance over a hundred times and never get tired of it. I like the way you spent time on her family for this also made a big impression on me as well. Looking forward and can’t wait for her first album, I know it’s going to be phenomenal.
Angelina Jordan. Prodigy We are very happy to have her among us she is a blessing from above what The voice have an 👼 angel I was crying with them I fell in love with Angelina I know he’s got talent after I heard her saying I’m gonna be Sunday I was Instant fan on her Continue to watch her to present date when she did Whitney Houston song at age 15 it was amazing she knows what she wants and how she wants it she is a genius i call her a Mozart for music
Great job Alan. I very much enjoyed your commentary especially the clues you picked up on concerning Angelina's family life. I can't even find words to express how Angelina has impacted my life. She inspires me to be a better person.
Thanks! Another good one! You pulled it together nicely. A couple things I thought about as well. Angelina is one of the few contestants/winners who has walked on with a wave to acknowledge the crowd. She is already a seasoned stage performer and presents herself as such. Also, despite what Simon says at the end, I do think she knows how good she is, but that is not enough for Angelina. I feel that she strives to be better, in her own mind, all the time. I liked your discussion throughout of her family because it is their love, support, and understanding that has allowed this young girl to follow a dream that many would be dissuaded from. Admiration and respect to them, for sure! This performance started me on my Angelina journey. At least 200, probably closer to 300 listens to this performance alone and every one is a remarkable reminder of how special she is. Glad you finally beat the blockers.
There's a thing called "Dunning-Kruger effect" where highly competent people (almost) always underestimate their abilities and the least competent people (almost) always overestimate their abilities. I believe she knows that she capable of getting much, much better and judges herself as, "not there yet". Judging from her progress since she won NGT, I don't think any of us, including Angelina, know just how great she can/will become. Her modesty is one her most attractive personality features.
We are all very àpresative of your efforts to introduce Angelina to the world at large,I realy appreciate your analyzes of her style and how they came to be..
You totally take reacting n commenting on our beautiful AJ to a whole new level. To the heavens, I'd say, which is where her voice takes me. I get lost when she sings, its hypnotic!! You dissect her songs n music like no other n I so appreciate ur thoughts. I pray the industry doesnt her humility n her innocence. I adore that she is so sure of herself n the way she portrays herself on stage. Never skimpy clothes, no heavy makeup, no shaking . She needs NONE of that n I pray she holds on to her soul cuz it's just her raw talent that oozes out. Magnificent! Shes like the female Elvis n I pray will bring back this spectacular music. Thank u Alan
👩🏻🎤🎵🌎⭐️🇳🇴❤️ Thank you brother Alan for your excellent and informative commentary on Angelina and her performance of Bohemian Rhapsody. I am continually struck by the importance of Angelina's wonderful family in her development as an artist and as a person. I will always be grateful to Heidi for giving Angelina the Golden Buzzer she so richly deserved. I hold out hope for people of the third kind. I've had a few close encounters with them, and if nothing else, perhaps we can study them to figure out why some people who can hear perfectly well are nonetheless still deaf.
Thanks Alan for this splendid commentary, it's simply fascinating how you have, rightly, linked the small clips to the main track of the video, many small windows of Angelina that go to make up a splendid polychrome stained glass window, just like those with angels, of the great cathedrals. ❤️ The little moments highlighted with the attention to the story, are really very nice. For the 3 girls I remember reading in the first comments to her participation, perhaps in the video that was then withdrawn by AGTC, one of the 3 girls who confirmed their reaction to BR, then it was duplicated it seems to me in "Someone you loved "
As far as I've seen, her family hasn't protected her MONETARILY, she has never shown any interest in Big Bucks, bur she has clearly stated that she wants to be HEARD. Reaching for a larger audience doesn't have to be "Going Commercial"
However I watched her sing this song many times like you listen to many commentators analyze this yours is the best analysis I’ve heard RA straightforward and very supportive we all love her and I appreciate you
Good job, as usual, Alan......A couple of corrections: She didn't borrow the curtsy from Amy; it's common in Nordic culture. Also, at 19:32, when you talk about how ecstatic she was because she knew she gave a wonderful performance, you're mistaken. She has never, ever, reacted in that manner after a performance. Her natural, true reaction was when she curtsied earlier. The shot (where you've put "she knows she nailed it" on the screen) was an inserted edit; it was also partly used after Simon's "amazing performance" comment. I'm not sure where it's from originally, but I suspect it was captured at the golden buzzer moment.
Congrats Alan! Very insightful analysis of the clips you presented and their background, as well as Angelina's outstanding performance. Very unique and original approach, loved it! One very intelligent remark from you is that Angelina KNEW exactly how to "cater" to the American public who usually watches these shows. They do expect the belting, the runs and she gave them exactly that, sparingly, letting them know she can do them. One thing I'm not sure about is when you said she takes the curtsy from Amy because she has done that since she was 7 years old in most of her performances ;) I'll be waiting for your next videos :)
Good analysis and coverage. There is a bunch of other stuff about the show, her appearance, the song choice, and the arrangement that you let go by. I am guessing it was to keep the overall tone positive and personal to Angelina.
I am a huge Woody Allen & Seinfeld fan, but Shakespeare's œuvres is riddled with that type of irony. Most Western children will have encountered the bard at school, and I suspect they most probably do get the mock-sardonic joke.
That's why Ilike you Alan. You put into words some of my inner thoughts and feelings. How a about our little conversation, the story telling issue? Have you talked to Pontus or Chris or anyone else? I'm faithfully waiting. Keep it up. I'm with you. Love to all the Angels.
I really love this meticulously walkthrough of this important event in AJ's life. The more people learns about her and her family the more we love her. And they truely lead the way in a time we need love, respect and family. I laughed a little in the last few seconds when Simon hugged her and she was the same hight or even slightly taller then him. And she know how good she is and that's enough. But she dont need to say it. And thats how you stay humble
From what I've heard AGT wanted Angelina to preform on the show because they knew she would be good for ratings. Angelina wanted to sing for Simon and her Uncle wanted the exposure, but they wouldn't agree to the regular contractual agreements that contestants are expected to sign, so she was never really in consideration to win.
Alan, listen to Angelina's age-appropriate response when the stage crew person asks her about her knowing how to use the mic between the mini-introduction and Angelina beginning to sing.
👏👏👏👏👏WHAT A VOICE!!! She has a very relàxing singing voice thàt's enchqnting to her listener. No one compares to her and come to think of it whendhe comes to mature more into a more ripened singer. I can't imagine the improvements she will add to her singing techniques. GREAT AJ!!!❤💯👍👏👏👏👏👏THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR THIS BRO.....✌man ✌
I have just discovered you Alan. I enjoyed your observations and critique. Yes, l am pround to say l am of the 2nd demographic. To share, the first time l heard her performance of Bohemian Rhapsody, l felt as if an angel was sent down to us from above. To me, this was a historic moment in the world of music. I was then compelled to make the following comment on that vid: "...She is a true blessing. I cannot get enough of this angel. I have never been so moved by ANY other performer in my 59 years on this earth as I have with this beautiful Angelina. No words have been invented to describe this angel. In fact, allow me to invent one here and now. Angelinated - The progressive inner and outer sensation of pure tearful joy caused by an experience that leaves one overwhelmed, bewhildered, speechless, and in mental paralysis; followed by the need to allow one's mind time to process what had just occurred and, in turn, share it with others." We are truly fortunate to be living in the Angelina Jordan period.
Hi Marcos, If you've only just discovered me, then you have a lot of catching up to do. I have now made 20 videos- all of them featuring Angelina. Enjoy. AP
@@thealanpapier great Alan. And l shall watch every one of them. I discovered you in the Angelina meets Adel vid. Enjoyed your perspective of how their personalities are expressed in their art. So true. That was the trigger to see if you had any others of our angel. Looking forward to the others.
@@MyFishstix If you're going to watch all 20, then I suggest you watch them chronologically. The early ones are fine but I do more and more develop my style. And I am pleased to tell you they're all different
Alan, I think that people who think Angelina is jusr okay are probably tone deaf, or think what she does is easy, because she makes it sound easy, in actual fact it’s amazing.
This was a great video and obviously cost you a great deal of time, thank you! If you listen very closely, as the judges are sitting down after Angelina's performance, you can hear Simon say to Heidi, "She's got the buzzer"...it's almost lost in Terry Crew's comments. So he's giving Heidi the ok to give the buzzer. Back at that time, there was a lot of discussion about the manipulation, etc. According to persons who were there, what was shown on tv was not the order that the participants actually appeared. The show has used the shot of the three girls in several other performances. When Marcelito Pomoy returned to Manila from AGT-C, he revealed that the singers were required to provide a list of ten songs from which Simon would choose what their second performance would be, so they had to be ready for any one of the ten. When you review her second performance, note her reaction when Simon says, "That was an unusual choice you made..." Her body language throughout her second performance is strikingly different from this one. I believe she's discovered just what a manipulative person Simon is and the disappointment from discovering this about someone that she had so much respect for for so many years is quite evident.
steve Do you have a link where Marcelito says they had to be ready for any one of the ten songs that Simon chose? Preparing for ten songs (with musicians) would not only be unwieldly, and time consuming, but it's ridiculous. The information I have is that the contestants chose one song from a list of 10 that was provided. Period.
@@103mrg Portions of the interview in Manila were translated in one of the videos exposing AGT that React to the World uploaded in the February timeframe. There are several. These revelations quite certainly put Marcelito in violation of his AGT contract, but it sounded like he flat didn't care. I remember him saying that only the first song was his choice and the semifinal song would never have been his choice. Remember that Simon has famously stopped contestants in mid-act and insisted that they sing a different song which he names.
@@stevek5332 I found the video you referenced. Bottom line was that Simon picked a song from a list of ten the contestant provided. But never was it said that they had to learn all 10 songs as you wrote in your comment above.
Watch the entire video again. By this time Simon's true character had been revealed. It was decided they would not sign with Simon's label so they would not be going into the top five and continuing on the show [yes, it is rigged] . His line "That was an unusual choice you made..." is actually referring to Not Signing with him! [allot of "secret" music industry double meanings going on here] Everything the judges are saying is double talk. Simon says others would not do what you have done [or something like that] Simon and Howie have an 'at length' conversation about how "dated" that song is. [no doubt referring to contract negotiations where they would have been pushing for her to do more modern songs] [it sure makes since it could be about that] The whole comment segment was full of coded talk directly to Angelina. [she's already a pro and this is part of the music and entertainment industry. -public communications with "inside information" having them mean more to the people talking than to the public listening] Listen as Howie [basically] "foretells" of the "super fans" not voting her through. He says something like they should vote for you but we have super fans and nobody knows what they are going to do. "We'll see what happens" The fix was in. Everyone primary to the show knows it [including Angelina, and all four judges] It's no wonder the light in her eye has dimed by this time. This was a learning experience she had to go through [about the industry she is about to be really deeply involved in] She sings I didn't sign up WITH you at the beginning of the GBYBR song. The camera shows Simon right after briefly. [I believe it is a choice from a list given to them or in her case, -since already she had special treatment- she may have just had to submit the song for approval. Which is what I think happened] She says her goodbye to the show and the yellow brick road they were offering and once again we see her wisdom grow rapidly. She is following her destiny. She has some say in it as she grows with it. We are all lucky she is in this world right now. Wishing her the best. [watch the whole thing again. performance and comments and it's sad to see her have to learn the business like this, but it was sad when she sang of the losses in her life too] She will only grow and become stronger. Hope it's OK I commented on your comment. Just felt I had to. Got to love Angelina!
¡Alan, gracias, gracias por esta Fantastica reaccion, hacia ANGELINA, una Diosa de la canción...dependera de proximas reacciones, y me suscribire...promesa!. (ARGENTINA).
1:36 - Ears better rinse with a syringe and warm water. You can accidentally push the earwax inside your ear with a stick and make you deaf completely :)))
Alan, ear sticks would not be useful (Poetry is safe from blind eyes).Gustav Klimt's Mother and Child and Irisbeet in Monet's garden are the natural choice for my brother in love with Angelina. Thank you and be well.
Thank you Alan, another fascinating review. I'm am, of course, in the 2nd group - wonderfully addicted to Angelina. Regarding the three girls, that you talked about in the audience, the same clip was used in one of Angelina's subsequent two performances (I can't remember which), so this may have been stock footage that AGT sometimes uses. Then again it could have been legit footage from her first performance.
Bruce pa1189j who did a wonderful job of posting the video of "Someone You Loved" with the background noise edited out, inserted the shot of the 3 girls (from the Bohemian Rhapsody video) as a nod and a wink to Angelina fans.
@@103mrg Ahh. So that makes sense. My apologies for suggesting AGT took liberties with their editing. I think I have seen them use stock footage, in such a way, in the past though.
@@brucecumming8803 Well, you happen to be correct about AGT and their editing (just not in this case). As just one example, at 19:32 , where Alan has "she knows she nailed it", the shot is an inserted edit. The end of the same shot is inserted again when Simon says "amazing performance".
Thats the part in rapidity at the end that realy tuches my heart. In NORWAY children will cutesy , boys will bow at waiat and girls will bend at the knee, I remember that frim oersonal experiwnce it has nothing to do with Winehouse, angeka courtesies after most of her songs.
Hi Alan. I wasn't making comments when this reaction first aired but I have found myself coming back to it from time to time. For me, this was one of the great reaction videos of Angelina because of your focus on her humbleness and her close-knit family. One of the things that I've always felt about this (and I'm sure that you can relate because of your unique reaction techniques) is that one never knows what sort of reaction one may get when you create outside of the box. With this version Angelina is taking one of the most iconic songs in history and with the sad death of Freddy Mercury, some may take exception to essentially redoing the song. I know after Angelina sang "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road" that Simon talks about her taking a risk. Besides the fact that she sang this song in the most difficult way imaginable, and for all these other reasons that I have mentioned above, I have always felt that this was a much bigger risk. Which brings to light another one of Angelina's amazing qualities - she intuitively knows what's good and what's appropriate and all that's left is for her to perform in the best way that she knows how. Thank you for all that you do. I will always remember what you have done with this reaction.
Hi Jim. First of all, thanks for your comment. It provoked me to watch my video again- I hadn't seen it in a long time. I have to be honest with you and tell you that there is a cringe factor when I watch my old videos. The acoustics aren't that good, the subtitles have not been edited and much else is raw. But what I do remember about this video is that one of my secondary purposes with this video was to show that anything- a song, a RU-vid video, a walk- can be completely transformed purely by attention to detail.
Alan papier, oh I will only speak for myself in this first part. I was getting tired of this show & some others because you could predict just about the camera showing, "oh we just happened to catch, ex. those 3 girls", now maybe these types of talent shows do so, after all certain things work. Ahhh, well yes you understand this, as you pointed out, @ 15;52 her belting, because yes, and imo unfortunately that is expected. NOW, speaking for myself along I'm sure of others, all the minutes, seconds that whether are not are really spontaneous, you made this come alive once again. Your very very astute with such depth of compassion and connecting to the universal love we all have and this is what you presented to us ~ I didn't know the family was there, didn't know the mom still shared her love with each of her daughters in such a momen...well, i'm going to stop here, because I won't get a golden buzzer, more of a boot off the stage, so to speak. I'm just ovewhelmed by you and this is such a unique channel. I saw th video um..oh yes "Unchained Melody", thank you from a new sub who cannot wait to dive in or no swoop up into the universe that is infinite and one never knows what spirit one will meet. ~ take care ~💫♾💫
Not only arguably the greatest child prodigy of our lifetime up until now. But she seems to be a genuinely good-hearted person with profoundly personal convictions. The performing barefoot story is one prime example. In every other reaction video, have watched on this performance I was irritated by the constant pauses so the person reacting could either mug for the camera or somehow make some useless comment just to abide by RU-vid rules. But your video and APPROPRIATE, INSIGHTFUL observations make this this the best and most respectful reaction I have seen to date, including the one by that Dr. somebody that is a professional voice and performance coach to many great stars. Great video Alan
Really interesting Alan. Look at Angelina's expression at 18:36 just after finishing the performance. Supreme calm and composure. It reminded me of her face at the end of "I Put a Spell on You."
