I don't think the ranger service would put out a statement that they've had issues with that homeowner before and sent another few guys out to tell her off about her behaviour. From what they said, sounds like this woman does things like this quite a bit.

I am writing this from the kitchen of the dump my mother bought 43 years ago. I genuinely hate the scam artist who sold it to her, and I want only terrible things for them, and their descendants throughout humans’ remaining time on this planet. She did zero research. As someone who worked retail, I can tell you people don't research which iPad to buy. They expect you to tell them which is "better".

My mom was like the lady on this video. Her father gave her the house, but the front of it was on a common proprety area. I've seen her acted like a dog with rabbies all my chilhood, and it took me a couples od decades to get the all pitcure. People can own a land, but not nature, not the wind which would travel sound, smell, and else... Being an owner doesn't mean you could control e.v.e.r.y.t.h.i.n.g that goes on your proprety. And people tends to forgot what a garden could be good at, with thick bushes. And I agree with you, well... unless you're very wealthy, it's the biggest purchase of your life. I don't believe I want to own one.

The reporter is correct, the property owner does own the portion of the beach in front of their home up to the water at the highest tide. This woman was clearly going beyond that with her claim.

Well, when I was walking around Topanga Beach, I came upon a private beach that was roped off.

You don't own access to the beach, but you can own the area directly behind your house up to the high tide line. As clearly stated in this video.

The forest part is weird. I have extensive wooded property, and it would be super dangerous for strangers to walk in it due to what I use it for. Surely you must mean just national parks?
