Oh! I love her! Funny fact: I own a Plant sweatshirt that I got when I gave to her crowdfunding campaign for her amazing restaurant. I’m so sorry Plant didn’t make it, but this sanctuary is a beautiful project! I want to meet her someday!
Such praiseworthy work being done by Cheyanne and Golden Magnolia! I wish them all the best in their continued efforts in this worthwhile project. Thanks for sharing this, Jeff!
Wow, another wonderful, inspirational interview! I LOVE everything about the Golden Magnolia initiative -- it connects so many different social /environmental justice threads!! Thank you, Cheyanne ! Thank you Jeff!! Vegan linked clips are balm for my soul during these painful, challenging times! 🙏 Oh, btw: there is a longstanding vegan soup kitchen that operates internationally. Food Not Bombs. ❤
Oh wow! I love this! And I love her, and I love the work Cheyenne (did I spell it right? I hope so!) is doing. I want to go there. I want to be a part of that community🙌
Thanks for this video !!!! Difficult to be a vegan in Iowa. I live in Ames, a college town, and there are no vegan restaurants and many times no vegan options on their menus. I eat before I go out to lunch with friends. I'm glad to learn about this vegan soup kitchen and Midwest Veg Festival in Fairfield. Fairfield is probably the least like Iowa of any town in Iowa...glad Cheyanne and friends are able to provide these opportunities to residents there !!
Cheyenne is an Earth Angel. Selfless compassion for all sentient beings. She's truly a hero in a chaotic and normalized cruel world. Thank you Jeff and Cheyenne.💚🌱☮️🐂🐑🐏🐈⬛🐶🐄🐃🦃🐖🐔🐎🐝🐓🦆❤
Great interview! What a lovely initiative. One would think the whole town would go vegan after smelling the manure every time they let the air breeze in the cafo's. People really don't put one and one together :(.
based on what she said - I feel now if she approaches farms with a transfarmation sell rather than trespassing - she can enter good relations with these farms and actually enact real change in terms of them going vegan - rather than farmers retaliating and making it worse for animals. So I'm going to seek how to make transfarmation viable and doable. A Buckminster Fuller Quote - ”You never change things by fighting the existing reality. To change something, build a new model that makes the existing model obsolete." (from the climate healers presentation)
@@HoldOnStillProcessing actually I often put links. Friday's release has links to the books he references and the restaurant. Sometimes it's hard to put links though because by the time I get done traveling enter, doing the interview, editing the video, packaging the video for publishing, scheduling the video, it's hard to get all the links in the description because I'm already working on the next video. But somebody can help commenting the links they think need to be included and then I can add them to description and/or pinned comment. What's missing in this one? Her book?
