I'm still playing, still loving the game. But I use it to chill with. I restart every 2-3 months because I love the start of the game. I love that it's not a game you "win," and there is no specified end. You can just be. 2.0 brought so much, and it means you can play how you want to.
Nice video. I wholeheartedly agree with everything you've said. The game's shallowness has become so frustrating to me that it has made me quit the game altogether. Things that wrinkle my balls the most: Thanks to designs you can create a whole football pitch complete with goals and a football on your island, but you cannot actually KICK the football. All you can do is make it bounce or look at it. What were they thinking!? And let's better not talk about the bathtubs and swimming pools. 😓
Thanks, I’m glad you enjoyed the video! That is something which I have considered too (and by the way: I will now be incorporating the phrase ‘wrinkle my balls’ into every sentence I can 🙈). It seems like new horizons acts as the perfect doll house simulator: you can create the sets - but then what you do in them is all make believe. I still enjoy the game though, but I certainly can’t play it for as long at a time as I could when I first picked it up
