Anne, when I hear you, I think of my sister Annie who passed away in December of 2020. Thanks for bringing back so many wonderful memories. I've always loved and appreciated your songs and your beautiful voice. Thanks
The best voice ever. Wow, I grew up listening all of her songs, and yet today, though so many years have passed, the feelings out of every song are still there. Best wishes for her today. It´s almost impossible to pick one song over the other. But I can say that the very first song I heard from such a beautiful voice was "You needed me". I was 17 and I played it over and over again. Really it´s hard not to enjoy each one. But when I hear Anne singing "In the garden" , there are no words that can describe what I feel. Not only birds hush their singing, but the heart stays still, touching that moment. She makes you feel that Presence beside you. Beautiful. Ana María. Saludos desde Uruguay. 3 de marzo 2022
Anne, you're so fantastically different. That deep, raspy voice and your calm presence make you the most unique wonderful singer. I just love you to pieces!
The last concert of yours that I attended was at Konicki Bay Resort at Clearlake CA with my two daughters. Your concert was my 70th birthday present. What a joy! You are my favorite! Saw your daughter sing with you-wow how special!
A beautiful voice and a beautiful pure song Thank you Anne So an intimate evening with Anne murray crooning medley all songs What Would It Take with Brian Adams duet Jann Ardn Boni onmi or Ann muray or John Williams of the Boston pops was Jubilee single
I used to work at Eastern Sound recording studios in Toronto in 1970 when Anne was recording there,. It was a great to hear hear live through the studio monitors. I collected pretty much most of her albums back then. She did a lot of Paul Williams songs that were popular back then. "You needed me"; and "Let me be the one you run to" .
I don't know where you're located but if you can get to the Cabot Trail in Nova Scotia, drive around it listening to Anne's music. It's kinda like a religious experience.
Loved Anne dearly back in the day- saw her live four times. Would love to see this show in its entirety (I have the CD but it's abridged). After 40-odd years, she's still my favorite singer and the warmest voice I know.
We went in 1981 to our fair Her&Gatlin brothers ,NEVVVVVER AGAIN!!! She treated EVERYONE HORRIBLE!,I went up aisle and State cops were roving aisles to ARREST ANYONE ATTEMPTING to take her picture!,, The concession workers were cursing@ her said they had never been treated that bad by ANY CELEB!. SHE IS A BUTTHOLE!!!
Anne Murray, she was the only Canadian singer who made it to the couple of record stores in Aizawl in the early 80s without any radio or television. No nothing, just her voice n music. Next came Bryan Adams but that's another story altogether.
beautiful song her voice has a slight edge to it but does not detract from a great performance,it feels as if she is singing just for you what a lovely lady
yes, sadly that's an occupational hazard for many female singers as they pass their mid forties... not everyone is able to keep singing the high clear notes of their twenties, in those higher keys. Some performers compensate by singing in a lower register, but it never sounds the same as the original if you do that. You can call it re interpreting the song!
Singing the medley of the songs Time don't run out on me this song from this CD An intimate evening with Ann murray Thank you Ann thanks for watchin' Good bye Just another women in love this song from the CD An intimate evening with Anne murray Thank you Murray
