Anne of Cleves ♡ A Perfectly Good Heart 

Well she was the nicest actually .. as much as I appreciate Anne Boleyn strength, ambition and passion .. Anne of Cleves was just so kind and humble .. she was kind to Herny's daughters and to his wife. She was a good friend of them too and didn't do anything but to be by their side. She was a true gem but Henry was stupid ..

There's actually no proof that she was ugly at all. She had long fair hair and blue eyes. She was also tall (the tallest of all Henry's wives) and quite busty. Henry complained of her "sagging breasts" but even that much is debatable, as Anne was only 24 and had never borne a child, so there is no reason to think that gravity had taken hold just yet :-) Nor was she "dull" as Henry complained - although she did not possess the acidic tongue and scathing wit of Anne Boleyn, she was kind and good-hearted, which in my opinion is an equally valuable virtue. She did not have the diplomatic training or the multilingual skills of Catherine of Aragon, but she was willing to learn - she picked up English very quickly and also asked to be shown popular games and customs of the court in an effort to try to fit in. If Henry had only given her a chance he could have had a good wife and devoted stepmother for his children.

She truly was pretty inside out .. and she was so nice to his daughters; even took after Princess Mary's advises and changed her religion . She was a natural kind heart ..

Some accord even said that she even wear makeup to look uglier, as she is so afraid of Henry’s reputation so much. But after all, she is very kind stepmother to Henry’s daughters and sons. :)
