It is wonderful to see that a non native (German) speaker takes on one of AMK's original pieces!! Their covers are great and unique, but their original stuff is just something else... All their Proberaum Sessions are with the strings and brass and are old songs differently produced. Really good stuff!.. but the simplicity of their early stuff (Nicht Nichts, Pocahontas, Oft Gefragt etcetcetc) is so charming and pure.... I recommend: Go for it!

Thanks for your reaction 🫶 I'm from Germany and I've seen AMK live at concerts several times. I think, Henning has one of the most unique voices on this planet, especially when you see him as that Inconspicuous person, that he is, and then hear that mindblowing voice coming out of him. And your reaction was about exactly the same as I felt when I heard this song for the first time, but also every time I hear a new song by them. It makes me a little proud every time I see a reaction to his songs, regardless of whether it's from abroad. And I hope that their music will spread far and wide and be heard everywhere on the planet

This music style reminds of the band Cake and their album Fashion Nugget from 1996. AMK are one of my favorite German bands. We have so many great artists here in Germany and I'm so glad when I discover some new ones. I'm 64 now and I'm a fan of AMK since 2016.

I think the arrangements for the Proberaum (rehearsal) sessions and the 2023 tour were done by Ferdinand Schwarz the guy who you see playing the trumpet in this video. I agree he did a great job.

You can take any „Probenraum Session“ (= Practice Room) from them and they are all similarly amazing.they just have so much fun when they hang out like this. It does not take anything away from all the other great songs and versions they have - so many of them being live recordings.
