I got diagnosed when I was 12. I’m 34 and have never had an annual check up.

In Australia, you get all your levels, even the antibodies every year. I hate the hot weather too

According to australia coeliac association TTG is not always raised with damage from oats. So it doesn't rule out oats for causing your symptoms

I was reffed to a bone density test as it useful to see the progression of bone density to see if there is a risk of osteoporosis.

And I am also in the UK if that helps. I was initially under the supervision of a dietitian but after 3 years of coeliac I was discharged as I was managing my diet well. I was surprised to hear that it's not always the case 😬

Hi Emily, that’s bad luck having Celiac disease at your young age. I always thought it would be much harder on kids. Hopefully one day there will be a cure for GF and we can eat what we like. I wish you luck.

In Ireland there is no annual check up. You just look after yourself 🙈🙈

You get an annual blood test too? I recently posted a funny video about this on my TikTok and so many people were confused as to why I get an annual blood test and check up. Seems it's very different across the country (I'm in the UK). I also get a free flu jab every year too.
