I’m a bit curious. Do you think this was a hoard that was broken up because of plowing, or something else? I think you pulled at least 3 dice from this field, possibly a Roman camp of some sort where they were gambling to pass time? Obviously not enough information to come to certain conclusions, but interesting nonetheless.

The story continues..... Amazing stuff guys. You've a great team John. 'Sir Albert Nugget', 'Marty' and 'Sneaky Pete'. How about 'Del Delivers' ot 'The Deliverer'? Thinking about moving back up and Perth is a nice place 😆. More Roman Silver. Wow. Makes absolute sense to clear the area with the detectors before getting the board hunter in action. Proactive 😉

That strange shaped item is infact a Stair Rod Gripper and they are very common finds in Fields.

Well done! I know I'll never have the opportunity to hunt for such bits of history so thank you for bringing us along! Whenever I get my manticore and get it running, I'm going to revisit some productive places where my ExplorerXS had hit the wall. Just have to be patient...LOL (not my strong suit). Thanks again!!
