If a woman has no intention of ever leaving her partner a prenuptial agreement won't matter because what he has will still be yours and shared with you as long as you stay with him. If you leave him you also leave the money and assets. Anyone who won't sign a prenuptial agreement is showing what they are about and is not him. 💯

I'm really glad that you pointed out that men who move there work very hard for the money they accumulated. It really is hard to save in a society geared towards spending as normal social behavior. That being said, single guys do have an easier time saving as they do not have commitments or responsibilities to family. Although they are also pressured to spend more in the same way as in the Philippines even in their original country. I honestly would have the discussion of a will after marriage so as to alleviate the prenup fears. After I'm gone, I really don't care who gets my money as long as they are good hearted. Regarding the Prenup - think of it this way. What is each partner bringing to the relationship financially? In 99.9% of these foreigner/Filipina relationships, the older Westerner is bringing a lifetime of savings and pension to the relationship while the Filipina, who is most likely much younger, is just starting with theirs. Now consider how easy it is for the woman to say, I've had enough and want out of this relationship, but I'm going to take half of your lifetime savings with me in the process. Trust me when I say I know this happens a lot. I'm currently in a relationship with a Filipina who's now my fiancée and we've already discussed this. The prenup is just a little insurance in case bad things happen. As other commentors have mentioned, it has nothing to do with trust. Nobody goes into a relationship thinking to themselves, I'm going to divorce that woman/man someday. Keep up the great work and keep the videos coming.

Doesn't matter who says I Love You first. But when a person hears that after just a week or two it makes us wonder if she understands what the word 'Love' actually means. I saw a vlog where this girl said it to the foreign guy she met the day before. She seemed like a lovely gal, but he couldn't understand why she would say that. She didn't even know his last name. To me it sounds like a trap or a setup. But that is part of being young. Love is more than a feeling. It is a calculated risk too. Not just emotional, but mental also. It works both ways I know a Filipina who married a German guy and he got her to sign a prenup in Germany. 10 years later after suffering abuse and controlling behaviour she is in a position where she has nothing for the future even though she has a job and works hard. She has little option other than to return to the Philippines which she can’t because her family depend on her. She is kinda trapped and shes getting older, my point is there are risks on both sides and if a Filipina signs a prenup she needs to take great care what she signs up for and probably needs specialist advice .

When I ask for a prenup, it will not be something done out of fear but out of love. Due to there being no divorce over there, you have no idea how really ugly it can get. I may be naive in this, but I think it is a good idea to sit down while you still love each other and decide what would be fair towards the other person and work the prenup out from that point of view. Marriages breaking down bring out the worst in people and you would be surprised how vindictive people can get during a divorce. So a prenup prepared during a time when you care for each other can really be considered the last good thing to come out of the love you once shared. A prenup doesnt mean "she gets nothing and I get everything". It is just you guys saying if the worst happens, what would be the fair split of the assets at the end of it.

If the guy is already a millionaire, he's not going to want to give that up in divorce. A prenuptial could limit the loss to half of what he makes during their marriage that's more of an acceptable loss.

I disagree with the prenup. If i marry someone 30 years my junior, then at some point im going to die. Leaving her penniless is not love, it's control.

Great video Steph I think a lot of Filipinas miss understand the idea of a prenup it don’t just protect the man it can also protect the woman let’s say for example the Filipina can put in her part of the prenup if the man is unfaithful during the marriage he has to financially support her or whatever she wants to add to the prenup I also recommend to all Filipinas get your own lawyer before signing a prenup if they can’t afford one tell their future spouse if they really want her to sign one pay for her own separate lawyer it can’t be the same one he is using.this is exactly what I plan to do if I get married.

I am 61 and "date" women here in the USA in their 20s through 40s. Of course mostly these are mostly FWB fwb situations. But these are all successful women with good jobs, cars, homes.
