Wow!! Just wow! What a blessing!!! I live 2 hours away from my family and I have no friends that would ever volunteer to help me. I have 2 young children and the younger one is under one. I had oral surgery on Tuesday and I drove myself there and back and no one would even help me drop off or pick up the girls....much less help me make dinner or take care of them or myself. Im VERY very happy you have a beautiful supportive friend/family that loves and prioritizes your mental and physical health. My husband died and my mom sent me 60$ to buy a dress for the funeral and a card. Im not joking. I feel so alone with him gone. He was my life partner. And now I have no one. Not one person in my corner. I miss him

Romee you have devised a fantastic system that would work for so many people post surgery, cancer obviously but folk with chronic illness, new mums you should look a way of formalising a template and then approaching Cancer Services, Maternity, Social Services as it is, a simple solution to a huge problem. I am ex nurse and know I could have used this in so many settings now I am a patient and the thing that hit me was it took away ackwardness of asking/admitting you need help but balancing it so you get rest time as well. Blooming Awesome 😊

As sh*tty as the hand you were dealt is, you are so blessed! I had many friends, I thought. But when they all found out I was terminal they left me in the dust. I realize now they all just used me when I served a purpose for them. I have had my boyfriend all through my journey but somewhere along the way we stopped being in a 'relationship' and just became more like housemates. We help each other, though of course, he helps me the most. I'm grateful to not be completely alone. You have an amazing support system and such great friends. I'm so happy for you for that.💝🥰

I love your down to earth videos where you just openly talk. As a cancer survivor myself, I get it... so I appreciate you sharing so much. As for video ideas... 1. New Years resolution time. What do you want to accomplish in 2022? What did you learn in 2021? What would you change if you could? What are your Top 10 goals, wishes or dreams for 2022? 2. How about doing a message to your future self.... then you can use that video on that date and see how it really turned out. 3. One fun weekly video I’ve seen someone do is a Friday night friendship chat. It’s that person and their best friend, everyFriday at 8pm. Sometimes they’re together, or out doing something. Other times they’re on zoom. It’s all live and then posted when done. Sometimes there are important topics. Mostly just catching up on the week ending or coming up, laughing and talking about whatever comes to mind, makes them laugh, going on in the world, ask for prayers, support nonprofits or charities, and just have a girls chat about real life,real topics, real feelings, and real emotions. Maybe you’d be interested in doing something like that for a different change & as a commitment to yourself & growing your channel. 4. I’d also like to see more about where you live, interesting places, things to do, and every day life. It’s vastly different than where I live & is fascinating. 5. Another fun video is someone who does live unboxing of boxes they receive from across the world. It’s fun to see what’s sent from different places, and your reaction to the different items might be fun. 6. I’d love to see what type of hobbies and interests you have or want to have. Now that you’re treatments are mostly over, maybe you’re interested in starting something new. 7. Ever see a RU-vid video where your creativity or curiosity was piqued? Now’s the time to be brave and try! I’ve wanted to try resin molding and also abstract painting with acrylics (dumping cups filled with paint, or just randomly layering paint). I also really want to make a big chunky blanket hand knitted. And I’d love to try to make some soaps, candles, and beautiful decorated cakes. Maybe you’ve seen something you’d like to try, and would show us how it goes as well as how brave you are to be so free to have fun being creative. Just a few ideas... I have more... :)

You are truly blessed to have so many wonderful friends! As someone who became chronically ill at 20, I learned that it’s when things get serious, that you really learn who your true friends are! It seems you Romee have a group of wonderful true friends! God bless you xxx

That was so nice of you to take the time to let everyone know you aren’t doing all of this alone. There were times I was wondering and felt so bad for you. It is interesting how much comfort that is for “us” to see that you are not alone. I know you’ve said it and totally believed you!! 😂 But it is very nice to see your friends and family helping you. I wish I could make my brother see the things the way you do. I know it's not an easy path. He is dealing with leukemia and it can be very shitty sometimes so I understand that with 20 years old he would like to do other stuff. But you are such a light in your own, still able to smile and not being afraid of going out or even living alone. That is so precious to watch. Very cool. Lucky thing you have such a good & large support system. I find especially when people get married &/or have children they tend to get so busy they rarely if ever have time to talk to friends on the phone much less visit or help with stuff like this. Don't get me wrong, life happens & we all can get super busy. But this video is another reminder how important it is to try & stay connected & not just with immediate family.

Glad to hear you have friends to rely on! I know what that means. I had breast and lymph node cancer a few years ago, I had help from my friends as well. You are in my prayers. I also had my two birds and cat, too, but my friends took care of them for me during chemo and radiation. Hang in there.

So glad to see the amazing and big support system you have! I am disabled. I can do quite some things myself, though not everything. My husband helps me the most. If I would need all the help you need (right now).. my REAL friends that would really want to do this for me, and would be able to do this, I guess my support system would be a lot smaller. I think I would need more help from people working in medical care. But I love to see you have so many friends who are willing and able to help you this much! You are so loved! I started following you from the very beginning in a form of self-therapy as we are the same age & I used to suffer from terrible cancerophobia and had death & illness anxiety. Going through your ups and downs as if I myself experienced them helped me tremendously as an exposure therapy. Thank you for that. What I'd like to see in potential videos is what are your plans on what's next; how this cancer journey changed you; how much would you have to take care of your health after this all, including lifestyle & checkups?; how were you dealing with the thoughts of facing death due to your illness?; how's changing the poor communication issue in the hospitals going?; do you have any personal projects on the way?; plans on fulfilling your bucket list. Literally anything :) can't wait

So fortunate! I was passing out with COVID after getting out of the hospital and couldn’t even find someone to take me home make sure I didn’t fall/hit my head or take my 13 week old puppy out! What amazing support!!

You have amazing friends and an awesome support group which is vital when recovering from surgery and during the different treatments. I had similar issues when I went through my cancer treatments and multiple surgeries after we discovered that I had multiple spinal cord injuries that had been misdiagnosed repeatedly. Blessed to be alive and not a quadriplegic on a respirator for the rest of my life. Keeping you in my prayers and praying that you are cancer free and have no more complications. I am currently going through immunotherapy for my lung cancer. You are truly blessed to have so many friends helping you. When I was going through chemo and radiation I had one true friend that helped me with everything. My brother was my only other person I could ask for help. enjoy have fun and keep making memories!!!!

I feel like if your rollercoaster ride called cancer was turned into movie, it could either be a kind of dark 'thrilleresque' documentary exposing the dark and sometimes unhuman side of cancer treatment. Oooooor it could be a warm, honest, raw and most beautiful Hollywood movie showing the very heart of true friendship.
