What a boat and the shot of her bows is extraordinary. What’s her top speed.? One small point, I can’t believe she was strapped down at the stern with rope touching her hull with no protection. Magnificent and the colour of the wood, wow.
Super exquisite looks. Although i was very disappointed when shown the engine: looks like a V6 or a small V8 OHV. A V12 or an areo engine would've been more in keeping with its antique style.
Greetings from oakville Ontario my family owns an original ditchburn and it's kept at lake of bays but away for the winter until spring thanks for the presentation
Give us a build Rundown. this boat is gorgeous it deserves more than just what the title gives us. This could be the start of a big RU-vid channel you're leaving us with a bit too much wanting.....
This is just my personal channel. Check out @muskokaboatbuilder for more content. It’s my boss’ business. I just make videos for him for fun when we have time. My co-workers and I restored this boat though. New mahogany bottom, new transom, anything that needed repair was fixed/improved upon. It’s got a big block Chevy in it. Overall a really nice boat. LONG and skinny. Cuts through the water great
Super cool looking boat, but I'll tell you right mow that it won't plane with all that weight and length just like those heavy underpowered Cris Crafts. And yeah, I know that's not what it was made to do which is kind of a shame.
@@wkmphotothe lazy way instead of rebuild original engine I always keep original engine in all my boats just change cam profile and carburetor to multiple carbs
Beautiful work, but I must say it doesn't really appeal to me. These rich men's toys are just a form of conspicuous consumption, with no real purpose other than being shown off. It's a shame, because all that wonderful craftsmanship could have produced something genuinely useful. I'm sure you must have done some truly wonderful projects.
You completely missed the entire point. This is art. Pure and simple. Conspicuous consumption yes. What's wrong with that? Someone was successful and is enjoying the fruits of their labor. Who is to say what is excessive and what is not? This is most likely a family heirloom. In any case, this is Capitalism. If you want to live in a society where everyone is equal, I'm sure Russia or even North Korea can accommodate you.
@@pchansen100 LOL. If you say so :) I appreciate the craftsmanship, what saddens me is that it's wasted on such a pointless creation. Pretty much sums up the US in general.
It’s called art! And someone spent their life time to create it. You never got the lesson “If you can’t say anything nice, don’t say anything at all” That boat is gorgeous! Thank you for sharing your vision and art form!
