This long shadows cast by the rocky peaks poking out of the snow fields in Greenland were worth the price of admission. Thanks Luke for making this great film!

+derek wall The earth is thinner near the poles so it's a quicker route when doing a big arc over the northern atlantic.

Great video I had the pleasure of a trip on Air New Zealand this year from THE out to Auckland on the way out I was lucky enough to get the hobbit livery plane on my outbound journey on my way back I got a plane like this very long Journey enjoyed it though

I did LHR-LAX-AKL in March 2020 on NZ1, and should have returned on NZ2 at the end of April, but Covid and the cancellation of the route early put payed to that!

Love your videos, looking for flights to LA from Heathrow which airline would you recommend Air New Zealand, Virgin Atlantic, British Airways, United or Delta. As you have flown this route many times on all these airlines (except Delta) I hoping you will give me the best answer.

Virgin Atlantic Orlando Hey dude. I'd recommend ANZ or BAW personally! Though I'm flying Virgin in May on the B787-9 to LA - so I'm hoping it's better than the awful A340-600 flight I had in 2011. I'll have a trip report video on that in a few weeks :-) Never flown Delta.
