AOC CQ32G3SU 165Hz 1440P Gaming Monitor Review 

I had a aoc cq32g1 but I sold that. That was with 32" no ergonomics only tilts, 144hz and 1440p(2k). I bought a Alienware Nano IPS 240 hz 1080p 27" monitor. Now the problem nowadays that new standard will be nano ips. They tried to lower the blue light buy adding faster red phoshpore. The problem with that, everyone is getting serious eye strains even after 30 mins. When I first looked at it, I had dizziness, eye strain which is very interesting because I sit in front of the monitor for 12 hour long and I had no problem with previous TN, IPS or VA panels. I bought this monitor after all, and sold the alienware. This is an improved version of the cq32g1 because the ergos is nice with this one. I can adjust height, it has swivel, and tilts. The response time with my old aoc monitor was probably around 40 ms. This one is more like 10-15ms. Which is a significant increase! My alienware 2720hfa was 4ms. That is true 1 ms to be honest. Even 10-15 is very very good. But 40 is not very good for fps games. It makes you click later. I can recommend this nice monitor because now I can sit for 12 hours straight coding again, unlikely with a nano ips panel.

@@Nathyobro its my first monitor i ever had.... Its good for sure...and for me its way more responsive having a 144hz smaller screen than a tv for fps games... Very good viewing angles for a way curved monitor ...i can even play local multiplayer on it with no problem... It has a pretty good built in sound for a monitor.... Solid materials and solid base...with easy adjustment Has a lot of settings which I didn't use mich because of premade settings like fps,racing, gamer 1,2,3 etc

I’m thinking of purchasing this for ps5 to play 120fps . Have you had any ghosting problems ?

Hiya, I didn't notice any ghosting or black smearing but remember, I only have this for a couple of weeks for testing. I also don't recall the pixels being noticeable really during any of my testings.

@@EnosTech I have ordered this monitor so fingers crossed, anything else you noticed during your testings that would be helpful to know? How is the out of the box calibration?

@@yomantiggar8148 Out of the box wasn't bad. I didn't have any other monitors next to it but it looked clean and crisp! All in all it just offered me a great experience and I do quite like the 32" over the 27" now and will be looking to upgrade myself in the near future.

Those places that appear to be dead pixels only showed up on the software and nowhere else. Unfortunately, I no longer have the monitor but if you check out PC monitors Video (ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Whs0zNxciRc.html) He goes into quite a bit more detail into colour reproduction and shows it on various background colours.

Yeah, this would be a good monitor for PS5

There could be a number of things causing this, but generally, it is just a setting somewhere. Have you tried to turn HDR off on the Xbox yet?

@@EnosTech yes I tried this and looked into the refresh rates and everything nothing worked. With a bit of digging I’ve found out it’s to do with the HDMI. The monitor is 2.0 but the series X is 2.1 so they aren’t fully compatible. Frustrating as this took so long to find. Apparently it’s a pretty big issue at the moment with tech

@@gabsdacherry its supposed to play 1440p 120fps not 4k 120fps. Have you had any ghosting issues? I’m thinking of getting this for ps5

P.S. Monitor have 4ms response time and 1ms response time is only when enabling someoption in monitor settings and then there is worse graphic.
