The potency of both ACV and white vinegar comes from acetic acid. As Dr Berg himself stated in the video, both will give you near to identical results. The most significant difference is the price. White vinegar is very inexpensive as organic ACV can be very pricey.
Hello Dr. Berg, I can't believe you covered this topic today- I was wondering just as I took my ACV this morning whether it would be just the same to take malt vinegar- and I check my phone, and lo and behold, I get notification of your vlog and the answer to my question 😊
Yah shalom Dr. Ive found the white distilled seems to dissolve mucus and relieve my heart burn faster. Other than that they're both good to me. Spot on by the way. Great job. Yah barakah, meshpaca YahUah prosper, family
I find I just can’t drink vinegar in my water, so I just make a small appetizer salad with bitter herbs and some olive oil and vinegar 😍 helps so much with digestion!
ACV turns my stomach, but I love pickle juice with about the same amount of water added. I tried so hard to swallow the ACV , but I just couldn't do it! I saw a gallon of picke juice at Kroger and decided to try it. It has helped my digestion SO MUCH! I will watch for water retention, but I think I need more salt than I get b/c I really don't like salt. I just love your videos- always the info I need-- CLEAR AND CONCISE!!👏👏
Apple cider vinegar: • 5-6% acetic acid • Source: raw apples • 1 tbsp has 11mg of potassium • Certain types have the “mother” which has a tiny bit of bacteria, fiber, and enzymes White vinegar • 4-7% acetic acid • Source: barley, corn, sugar, potato, milk whey, grains • Great cleanser
ACV is also good for cooking, add a tbls to soups, sauces, or marinades, especially ones that have a heavier overall flavour. A bit of acidity will improve most savoury dishes.
Red wine vinegar and olive oil is just the best salad dressing 😍 I love mixing it with oregano and making a Greek salad with feta cheese. Best combo ever.
Thank you Dr. Berg I've back slid on Keto, thank God I had enough sense not to gain a lot of weight. I just started the Apple Cider Vinegar regimen again, will be doing Morning an Night! With all this craziness going on I turned to sugar and Carbs. I didn't let it get out of hand, but now I have to start ALL over again to get back into Ketosis. That's ok because since I started the sugar and carbs again, my knees have been killing me. I know now what is causing my pain, because when I was doing Keto faithfully, my knee pain stopped! God Bless You and Your Family Dr. Berg FOREVER AMEN✝️🙏
Every morning I add ACV into Dr. Bergs électrolytes, his raw wheat grass with pink himalayen salt and collagen powder and I’m good to go all day till I eat my one meal in the evening. I feel amazing and energetic! Great info once again Dr. Berg🤩🇨🇦
Well, he said and he didn't say which one is better. If they are so close, I suggest you use the one that suits your pallet best. I love oil & that taste of white vinegar on my salads with spices. I do not care for acv taste at all.
Both you and others are going on about how white vinegar is made from barley, rice etc. However, there is such a thing as white wine vinegar you know. It can be unfiltered, organic and is made from grapes, of course. Neither you nor other docs I have seen talking about this makes that distinction. But there is a GREAT difference, and I would assume that an unfiltered white wine vinegar with mother still in the bottle should be the same in every way as apple cider vinegar?
Dr Berg, could you plz do a video on the comparison between ACV and Coconut Vinegar specifically? As understood, coconut Vinegar is highly rich in minerals, right?
The distillation process removes any impurities or toxins from the source grains. Distilled white vinegar is essentially purified acetic acid. Pretty safe and clean
I only use ACV - just for the fact that it seems cleaner [organic] and richer in good microbes [the mother], but have wondered about this. So will save the white stuff for cleaning the coffee maker.
I use white vinegar in lieu of fabric softener , it's really very good for that and much better for the washing machine apparently - there is an organic acv which is available in South Africa imported from Germany in a glass bottle which I use- Thanks so very much Doctor Berg for this video , I didn't even think about the difference between the two 🙄 , 🤣 Sending love ❤️
Dr berg i done keto and loose 40 kg i have a question does daily use of acv 3 tbsp effect our gut and health negatively?i read a statement that acv could damage liver for long term use
😮 Oh my goodness!! Your surprising me again. I will never eat distilled vinegar in my salad, you guessed it... again ! Thank you again, Ill repay by sharing.
Clean your house with white vinegar, clean yourself with ACV. 👍 Thank you for sharing this important information with us all. Take care & stay safe too everybody. 😷❤🙂🐶
Hello again Dr. Berg, some people recommend mixing ACV with baking soda- would you recommend this, as it has the effect of neutralising the acetic acid?
what about coconut toddy vinegar doctor ? will it help the way for diabetes n blood pressure >, because we make our own toddy vinegar n we hv it in abundance ... plz can u tell us about the cocnut toddy vinegar benifits.
Does it work immediately for heartburn or does it take a few days to figure it out? I tried to drink for heartburn but I don't think anything has changed.
I tried drinking the ASV 3 different times and it sent my pressure out of control. I'd get very dizzy with heart palpitations and nauseous. It would last for hours. My friends that have tied it had good success stories so I have to assume it's just me.

Thanks... why do all the good things always taste so bad??? Does it lose any of its goodness if I cook it with food to hide the taste? I use vinegar in water to wash fruit/veggies as my sister says it kills everything.
Try white vinegar, you will get same results, and save lot of money. Cider vinegar is seven times costlier than white vinegar. For the money saved, add fresh apples and yoghurt in your diet for beneficial bacteria and magnesium.
I can't see how the source matters in the slightest. At the end of the day the distillation process for white vinegar leaves you with acetic acid and water. One thing I don't care for from DC Berg is the unreasoning issue with GMO. When eating whole GMO you MAY be able make some argument that there may be some genetic interaction or toxicity within the body (although that is a stretch as a generalization and i have never seen any studies that actually show any genetic impact from eating GMO) but, even then, once you modify sugars in a GMO (using bacteria) to acetic acid and distill t makes no difference where the sugars originally came from. (All acetic acid in all vinegars is produced by bacterial action on some kind of sugar). Distillation purifies so that you are not getting any of the original source material anyway. ACV does taste better though...
@Jonathan James Hello! This video will answer that for you. Muscle Cramps Spasms and Charley Horses ---> ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-JKmHSqjFFUk.html
Hate the taste of ACV. I take dr .berg’s acv pill. But, I use vinegar in my homemade salad dressing. I will try acv in that, but really, i hate that taste..will try and see. What about red wine vinegar?
No, apple cider vinegar is not the same as apple vinegar. Apple cider vinegar is made from fermented apple juice and contains beneficial compounds like acetic acid, while apple vinegar is a more general term that could refer to vinegar made from apples but may not necessarily be specifically from fermented apple juice like apple cider vinegar.

What about other vinegars such as pomegranate vinegar and honey vinegar? (not vinegar + honey, I mean vinegar actually made from honey - just got some).
Hey everyone .. I get a question ... So between the ACV and white vinegar the difference is the source .. But what about Apple vinegar i mean are they the same the source is the same ?
