DOGGONE. Atty. Nelson's observations have certainly aged extremely well, even with only just the Defense's opening statement laid out since he gave.this interview. He nailed it. Very insightful for us lay armchair lawyers. Hope to hear a lot more from him in the future!

What about it? It has nothing to do with his guilt or innocence as it relates to his mindset while being verbally and physically by a mob of ppl which is actually on video.

The prosecutors set themselves up for failure by indicting this as "intentional homicide" ~ they should have went for manslaughter, instead..

I was one of the most straight edge kids ever, but even I once got sloppy drunk once in high school. I went to a religious school, and not a single student there made it to graduation without getting drunk at least once. It’s almost cliche it’s so common.

His multiple lies immediately after the situation seem to make him an unreliable source. Also, if he stabbed multiple people in self defense, why did he not seek out the police afterwards? When approached by police, he claimed ignorance over the situation. Why wouldn’t he immediately seek out police and say “I was attacked, and had to defend myself”? He claimed he didn’t have a knife, but took one of theirs, which was a lie. His post incident behavior is more telling to me. Seems like someone trying to get away with a crime.

watch the trial. he wasn't stabbing people like a "madman". 11 drunk violent aggressors are assaulting him, he's protecting himself against those who was physically attacking him. He didn't attack those who didn't attack him. Watch the evidence. He is 100% not guilty!

he was in survival mode , as an old guy surrounded and being pushed down and hit in the face and pushed from behind by 3 different guys all in less than a minute, their attack on him was escalating fast
