If you want a shorter video start @17:32 the wind was up and I was warmed up too.
I don't like cuts and clips videos but I flew a-lot longer than I thought I did: Having fun! lol
The best scene in this one to me is @17:32 the falling or diving roll down the adjacent face: "cool"!
When I'm calling out the windspeeds it's what's out front or over the ocean, there's much more wind on my and the slopes' face.
I wanted more wind to get real crazy but I think I pulled it off pretty well!
Taking weight """out""" for the slopes? Who says that? I think "just me" lol
I promised "more videos to come", Here's one!

P.S. and not necessary to read so...FYI:
Also don't be offended because I recommend "no" electric sailplanes on the slopes.
Yes they are great fun and yes "I have" but Slope soaring holds an entire differing set of rules that doesn't get learned if you've got a motor. Does it look like I need a motor here? Nope! Again no offence and I totally understand the fears of "no motor": it doesn't make sense to a powered pilot!
Yes I'm a powered pilot too (and much bettered via lessons learned on the slopes). The rules here are the same but are "additionally" different and even non-powered thermal flyers will have "more to learn" although they will have a solid head start from what they've had to learn in being motorless.
The words in descript would be long and difficult to portray but note my takeoff here: nose down by 2 degrees and I climbed and accelerated: note my landing: 2 degrees nose down "throughout" my "entire approach" even when (especially when) I knew that I was coming in short. That makes no sense to a powered pilot but Sailplane pilots whether thermal or slope all know this!
That's two of a multitude of lessons or learnings that you will learn and acquire, many will help you immensely with your powered planes and you will also acquire a differing or "additional style" within your powered flight parameters or portfolio.
Sailplanes will teach you more than you know! Double meaning!
Don't just try it... learn it! If you persist (it's difficult at first) You'll have no regrets: guaranteed!
It's hella fun (and rewarding)!!!!!
Something else that I'd like to interject: this is just an old school rudder, elevator only ship.
The Adrenalin and excitement grows exponentially with many of the Sailplanes of today.
(See my Le Fish videos): (and my Ricochet Delta for aileron elevator example) (OK elevons lol)
I would recommend an AHI for your first slope soaring Sailplane and then go from there.
Last I've seen is that you could instead buy a "Gentle Lady" or a "Bird of time" Ready built.
These are for thermal flying so I would enlarge the rudder and get all the control throws that you can on both of these for slope soaring. Note: an AHI is more crashable/survivable.
A zaggi? No or that is don't "determine" whether you like or dislike sailplanes via your experience with them. They're funky and don't fly like "sailplanes", I could go on with many examples/explanations as to why, but I won't! Maybe try them but don't "determine" from them.
Cheers and again: I don't mean to come off as arrogant: Been slopeing since '76: "experienced"!
