Windfree Slopebatrics On a Nice Windy Day 

Very cool is Skybench Aerotec the ones who remade this Windfree kit? I didn't build this one but I know it's from a remake Windfree "kit". Love the Windfree, my other one (that I made and still fly) is 40 years old. Thanks for the comment! Robert

@@robertshaver4432 I love building and flying sailplanes. I remember picking up Marks Model kits from Tower shortly after the kids release. Many times paired with a two Chanel radio for under $100. Ray from Skybench re-kitted this using Laser cutting and one larger Airtronics style wing joiner. I’ve built several of Skybench offerings. All superior materials with upgraded design and building features. I just found your older Aquila video. I’m very familiar with all Aerotronics offerings

@@terryforbes4038Thank you for that, I'll look into it. Airtronics kits were supreme in that everything fit perfectly. You may find my other Windfree video interesting (my green and blue one) in that it flies so differently as compared to my newer one, the main difference being that my old one has quite a-bit more dihedral thus it snaps on command whereas my new one Lolly gags a-bit and then decides to snap or spin. I also enlarge my rudder for slope soaring. Hey let me know how your new one turns out, I had thought about spoilers but Windfrees' wing is designed to flex so much that I thought otherwise about it.
