Wondered where you had been Glenn these last few months. I spent 10 years living in Germany, great food and great beer. If only I was flying my XLe all those years ago. Glad to see you back mate.
Hi Mick, its good to be back, I tore the ligaments in my lower back and it put me out of action for almost 3 months! All better now thankfully. Germany is a great country I have to agree on the food and beer it was fabulous and I ate and drank quite a lot. Hoping to get a few flights in before the dark days get here, hope all is well with you.
@@bluefish3607 I hear ya about the back, we get to a certain age where nothing mends quickly at all. Hope you remain well with it. My Xle has had a few good flights here in The New Forest over the last few months. Smashed it a few times into the ground on launch as I forget to give it plenty of throttle, I don't allow for how heavy she is after just flying the dart 250g. Flies beautifully with and without the Kopilot once in the air but am thinking of progressing to iNAV and my first proper FC shortly. its about time I left the school playground and moved up with the big boys now LOL. May be picking your brains soon if that's okay for some advice...
@@mickelson8332 Good to hear you have had some good flights with the XLE. I will be more than happy to help with any iNav stuff. I have learned quite a lot over the years and whilst not an expert like Marc I have more than enough experience now to help others wanting to get started with it. Besides that there is a huge amount of resource online to help as well.
Great flight on the AR, to bad about the Zohd. One out of two aint to bad. The footage on you HD must be a GoPro 7 with Hypersmooth, again gorgeous day to be flying. I am jealous, and you get to hang with Mark for some flights to dial you in, lucky dude. It would be the perfect cap to the day with a pint in the pub for sure... probably be beating the girls off you with that slick haircut and your English accent. Cheers buddy
The XL was fixed later that day. It was just too nose heavy and autotrim neally maxed out so he lost a lot of pitch authority. After we fixed that and trimmed mechanically it flew like on rails :)
@@MarcFPV Thats awesome, I thought he had the XL flying better awhile ago but there must have been some changes made cuz he didn't like it at all. Ar was amazing though. I will be taking delivery of one in the next couple days, can't wait
The footage is stabilized with Reelsteady Go. yes it was great to hang out with Marc we had some great days flying, we did have to sneak out of the back door after a couple of days due to the ever growing number of Frauleins waiting for us out front :-)
In CLI nav_fw_launch_idle_motor_delay = 15000 Allowed range: 0 - 5000 in my case I have set to 1500 which equates to 15 seconds delay from when I throttle up when autolaunch engages to when my nav_fw_launch_idle_thr = 1200 enages and i throw the plane.
That was the first time I used it and I did not go far, but the next day I broke my long range record and it performed really well, much better than my AXII. That long range video is coming soon.
That looked like awesome fun. Can't believe how smooth your AR Pro looks. Is it really that good, or do you have hypersmooth / stabilisation on the gopro?
@@REDROBRCFPV I had trouble with the Dart XLE, turns out I had pitch alignment set at 16 deg no idea how that happened, I think it may have been due to Inav 3.0 autolevel I was messing with. My AR Pro is one of my favourite planes and has not been any trouble at all. Good luck with the Dolphin it looks like an interesting plane I will watch some flight reviews as I do not know much about it.
First job in construction after working 12 years in fast food suppose to be carpentry my life was destroyed employer had me drilling in concrete and blowing out the holes with no protection and now I worry I will die with no hope no treatments no cure..
I was exposed to massive amounts of silica dust without knowing or protection while drilling holes for housing and blowing out the holes with compressed air now I am trying to get a Whole Lung lavage to SAVE MY LIFE and remove the silica dust in my lungs before it's too late please spread awareness about a possible hope for removing the silica dust from lungs before it causes fatal damage and possibly my life
