Fun Fact: The creator/designer/composer for the Guilty Gear series, Daisuke Ishiwatari, was one of the developers and animators on this game. Now you know why the animation is so good. :)
fun fact: *dansegful* is right. Found this on the Guilty Gear Wikia: "An often-peddled rumor is that Ishiwatari-san worked on the The Last Blade series, due to a credit listing a "Daisuke". However, The Last Blade was released in 1997 while Ishiwatari-san was already a designer at ARC System Works by 1995." In other words, even the Guilty Gear wiki says that Daisuke Ishiwatari had *nothing* to do with The Last Blade.
Awesome! You are playing with my most favored swordsman Kaede in Last blade. Man It sure brings back old memories, of when I first played this game back in day at the Arcades. But unfortunately, I did not have the chance to play Last blade 2. Thanks for the memories cubex55, you sure made this old school arcade player remember the days when games were superb and down with great mastery. (Smile)
Xander Stewart Except for the fact that it's actually takes the Samurai Showdown Formula and makes it better with the one single addition of "attack repellers" (And they're both made by the exact same company, so you can't rip off yourself)
@thelegendx1984 It is in the US for the Neo hardware. If you have a home system or and MVS setup, you can play both (with a US bios or unibios) in English.
@gageboy14 yes emulation at this point is 100% 1:1 perfect i play directly from my laptop using hdmi on a 42 inch screen simply gorgeous i use winkawaks what do u use?
+Dragonite ZX It isn't impossible. SNK is now accepting pre-orders for the Neo-Geo Mini, and a new Samurai Shodown game is expected next year. So "The Last Blade 3" isn't a far-fetched idea.
If someone could do a big Neo Geo with lots of bank switching and be about close to 2000 Mbit...or higher, should the title screen say "NEO GEO - TERA POWER (MASTER GEAR SPEC)" followed by the SNK or SNK/Playmore logo?
Isn't in the US back in the old MVS and AES consoles, maybe your right, they should just release the rest of their compiliations on the US, and do a bit of minor edits, like just get to Kain on Garou: Mark Of The Wolves by not losing a single round, and if you lose to Kain, just do a one - second continue and then get rid of the idea to that he gets to heal his entire health bar if he's hit to make it fair with the other characters, and if SNK is reading this, i'm serious.
+Brady Turner Because, it was made first as an arcade machine, and the design simply made use of some ideas that existed on consoles at that time like making games cartridges to help reduce costs to arcade owners. It just also translated well into a console form as well because of that design choice.
+Brady Turner ummm no its not, if you get the neo geo console it only takes original neo geo arcade cartridges that come out of neo geo arcade machines
LOL, he's playing this game with an emulator. Gamepads just don't do the arcade controls justice. For some people (including me), doing a QCB+F is a lot harder with a gamepad than with a joystick. (And joysticks on the PC tend to be flightsticks, which are not ideal for fighting games either.) If you can beat this game on level 8, do it and put your own fucking video on RU-vid instead of whining about it because someone plays at level 3.
