Wow, I just ordered the screen to do this too. Any over heating issues with 1080p upgrade? Also what is HDMI converter, do i need to order that also?

Ahh i see what the Marseille is.. There is one with USB support and one that is a hdmi cable for $40 buks. Is the $40 dollar one correct? How would you adjust the settings or does the cable auto upscale

@@pokerlife123 I purchased the mClassic with usb support. No configuration needed, plug and play... Just make sure you leave the pcb at 720p. It will auto upscale to 1080p. The added anti aliasing was the big draw for me. It did wonders for the jagged edges and smoothed out all the artifacts. Since you did the monitor upgrade, you can adjust any video settings you'd like, such as contrast, brightness, sharpness etc.

@@normelder6624 What was the Geekworm LVDS adapter supposed to do? Did you have to bend that box to install the Marseille 1080p adapter? Looks like a lot of work

@@pokerlife123 The geekworm adapter converts the pcb lvds connection to hdmi output. Then just connect an hdmi cable from it to your monitor. The mCable plugs into the geekworm adapter, it's hdmi and is usb powered so you'll need a power source. I purchased a 12v to usb power converter (5.5mm power splitter so I could connect it to the 1up power supply. I made sure it was 5amp rated so I did not lose any current to the system. Under powering any system can cause damage or random crashes.) I did not ruin the case or tear things up. I simply removed the pcb from the metal housing and mounted it to the bottom of the inside cabinet, near the rear left side. Keep in mind, to get the geekworm adapter to stay stable, you will need to load a file to your pcb. Its not just the hardware mod...its also the software. The process can be a bit intrusive and requires a bit of technical skill. I also loaded all the extra 1up tables, zen pinball etc. after the hardware mod was complete.

@@markr2370 Nope. Once I de-cased the monitor and took the part off for the stand, I left the metal around the edges of the monitor. It was a tight fit but it worked.

@@Mralanc oh ok. What size glass did you use. The one Cooltoy showed in his video.

That's the monitor I used. It's perfect for this cab. 2k is all you need for that size screen and the ball looks much smoother at a high refresh rate.

@@nakimmikan with the stock arcade 1up monitor you will need a converter. With the 32” LG monitor you can use hdmi or DisplayPort
