As a person new to the sport I have watched many videos on archery, and while most of them explained everything very well I still had a few questions. This video has now answered those questions! Thank you very much for this! :)
Thank you so much! Revisiting techniques throughout a whole lifetime. Hearing it from you is awesome as it answers the “why” that I have taken for granted!

hello, coach kim, i'd had a interest in archery ever since, i currently go to the 24hr gym gym daily, and i don't see any improvement, due to disability, i'd always taken a deep interest in archery, because of standing long hours, i plan on getting a bow, arrows , target get for my invidual training needs, i will plan to viditi ng South Korea sometime in the near future.
Thanks for the education 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼. I injured my draw shoulder. I’m using stretch band for 3 months & I feel ready to start at 26lb (from 40lb before a injury)
Thank you Mr KIM for this very useful video. question 1: is it the elbow that we should rotate, or we should first put the scapula in the correct position which will mecanically rotate the elbow? Question 2: At the beginning should we rise both hands at the level of the eyes before pulling the rope so that we have the shoulders low?
Hello, Thank you so much for the instructions on te video. I hope that you can help me. I have a problem to hold my body steady in the same postition by each release of the arrow. How can I change this. Most of the arrows wil go to the right and I shoot left handed. Your answer would be highly appreciated. Thank you in advance. Kind regards, Angelique
Dear Master Kim, I grew up doing American recurve and horseback archery, and advanced to English long bow. I was a sharpshooter. I have not been able to shoot for 6 years now because of an ORIF surgery on my mid forearm on both bones. I would like to eventually come to Korea to learn KTA and keep the traditions alive. I like natural bows and ancient arts. Should I start with stretching bands to build strength and endurance again? Which do you prefer? Do they make different weights on the practice strings to build up strength? So many questions :) I appreciate your time and am grateful for your videos.
Yes you can run KTA we have traditional bow field You don’t need stretching bend I have a special bow bend Please give you your e mail l will give you information My email archeryschool@gmail.com
Question: Korean and Asiatic bows are drawn way back well behind the ear, which is achievable ONLY if you are a short person, with short arms. Im 6 foot 2", and I measured my draw length to past the ear and its slightly under 1000mm. Now I cant find ANY Asiatic bows that can draw that far, and even if I did, no one makes arrows a meter long! So I cant ever take up this style archery. Shame, I may have been the next world champion, but we will never know. :-)
