First impressions and first time shooting of a set of lovely new war arrows I've received from Will Sherman at medievalarrows.co.uk! Shooting them with my 100lb draw weight war bow!
3/8" parallel ash shafts with a reinforced nock insert of horn, goose feather fletchings. and hand-forged type 9 short bodkin heads. Made for a bow that is 100# @ 32".

I also plan to shoot these against armor, since I'm a novice armorer and can probably make something appropriate for a low-quality test. What piece of plate armor should I make? Leave your ideas in the comments and if I can pull it off with my level of skill and materials available, I'll probably give it a shot!
