Arches National Park - What Did I Eat??

I explore a few of the amazing arches around Arches National Park.
I visit Delicate Arch, Double Arch, Turret Arch and Sand Arch. Really amazing to see these massive arches up close.
I'm currently camped at Lone Mesa campground near Moab, Utah. It's a free BLM campground with no facilities of any kind.

Living in Utah, we kind of tend to take these places for granted, and we really shouldn’t do that. The Big Five truly are natural wonders. So glad that you enjoy it here, and thank you for the wonderful videos that you post so that others may enjoy your adventures. Bex you are with out a doubt in my mind the best Video producer on RU-vid I feel as if I'm along side you as we view the area almost lost for words just appreciating the magnitude of nature itself , almost defies description Awesome ! ... Bravo 👏👏👏 ... I love mash potato with plenty of grated cheddar cheese mixed in the hot mash , salad cream on top ? with Cos lettuce , spring onions, tomatoes small , greater carrots , small baby beetroots , hard boiled egg, and cold sliced meat ? a few radishes , very nice LOL , goes down a treat on a summer picnic ? ... Apple juice or my favourite white grape juice ... Sounds good to me ... 👍

Thank you Bex for the tour. I was at Arches a few months ago but read that dogs are not allowed on the trails so I ended up driving through as I couldn’t leave my dog in the car as it would be too warm. Don’t bring your pets to the national parks as they can only go where vehicles go. 😄

I'll say it again. If rocks could talk.??? What a story.!!! Thanks for another great video. The expired food is neat. This morning I had beef hotdogs expired with gravy eggs and stale bread. And sliced skillet browned nuked baked potatoe. If it's cooked its fine. I make Corn bread with old milk barely soured. Like buttermilk ... Living the good life.. Haha.78 and still kicking.

One of the most inspiring, other-worldly landscapes ever! Warm colors, smooth, undulating surfaces, no sharp jagged edges. Sculpted by wind like water, tranquil, a healing place. I feel better just from watching! Fabulous moonrise and sunset. Thanks Bex, you're the best. 👍

Ah beautiful! I was there in early September for just a quick drive-thru and stopped at a couple of arches, including Double Arch. The park was just crawling with people.

So wonderful to be traveling around with you (that is what it feels like!). I haven't been to the southwest for almost 20 years. Fell in love with Arches. I loved it so much I came back and painted a bedroom wall the color of the reddish rocks. Oh my, that sunset at the end!

Your photography and videography is always the best, Bet. And I love what you show, and your appreciation and respect for nature and for the history of the natural lands. Gotta say, I don't love sand in my shoes, or anywhere else on me or in my vehicle or stuff. It's insidious! I don't like to waste food either. There are certain things I'll cope with as far as expiration. I do have to be careful though. My digestive system freaks out easily. Safe travels, Bex. Good health and happiness!

first time I was in arches was when we were moving from hawaii, it was November traveling in a vw fastback with a 110 lb German Shepard. It was cold and what was amazing is we were the only ones there! little different from now.

re: chili cheese mash -- I recently had to have all my teeth removed. (Car accident smashed up my face, and there was bone degeneration, etc. etc., long boring story. But the important bit is having all my teeth pulled. :D) I LIVED on what I called Nacho Taters. Cheese, salsa, guacamole, instant mashed potatoes -- whatever I could find that was vaguely mexican-leaning and didn't require chewing. And it was AWESOME. Also awesome: those arches. I've never been to the southwest, really. Not the desert-y bits. Your videos are making me want to visit. (Will make sure to pack the chili cheese taters.) :D

I had all my teeth pulled on 12/3. Rheumatoid Arthritis did a number on my teeth. The goal is the implants with dentures. I still haven’t had anything solid. Never thought dentures would be this difficult. Here’s a hint for you. Immersion Blender! They can make baby food out of just about anything!

I've been to Arches National Park twice in the second time was nine years ago with my daughter when we went cross-country to the West Coast. It is especially heart touching to me because I lost my daughter back in 2017 tragically to suicide because of a bad Med. So anything's that we saw on our trip out there touches my heart and is dear to me. I have good memories of Moab. And I took a video at Windows arches with my daughter she was happily running up the steps to the arches. And when both of my children were very young we were there with friends and stuff underneath the windows Arch. I have the video on my channel.

A friend of mine was a hunter. He used to say cut it thin, cook it long. He said when in remote Alaska he had to eat meat that was much less than fresh. That was their way of not getting food poisoning. I had four cheese instant mashed potatoes for dinner last night. Pantry and refrigerator had other food, just wanted something simple.

Chili cheese goes with lots of starchy stuffs. I love leftover meals like that. My partner once made me hamburger, tater tots and cheese. It was so good.. I asked "waht did you put in this, crack?" so that's what we call it now. Any kind of taters is fine.
